This hotel is AMAZING! Aside of a few things, I would recommend it to anyone. The only issues we had with the room was the fact that the AC is extremely loud, and we woke up every time it clicked on, and also we could hear the people moving about upstairs most of the night. Other than that, the service, food, drink, staff, and ambiance was amazing. The only suggestion I have is that guests are informed of the fees prior to booking. We had no idea that there was a $29/night resort fee, plus a $200 hold per night per room, and that if we went over that, we were charged an additional $70, plus any amount we went over. I understand the hold, although it should be clearly stated prior to making the reservation, but charging guests $70 for going over the $200 hold is ridiculous. After all, the guests are spending more money at your hotel, and shouldn't be penalized for it. If anything they should be given a discount for spending more. I also feel that the $200 per night is quite high. I have stayed at other 4 and 5 star resorts in many places, and aside of 2 or 3, most only charged $60-$100 per night. $200 for someone staying 7 days is quite a bit for the average person, plus the cost of the room. What I recommend is that you purchase the room without any meals included, and pay at the table, that way there are no surprise charges at the end of your stay, and it ends up being a bit less costly. I just wish that the staff would offer that option while dining. Next time we visit, we'll make sure to request paying at the table, rather than bill to the room, in order to avoid unneccesary charges. Besides the hidden fees issue, it is definitely worth a visit, but remember to ask about fees before booking, or you'll definitely be surprised when you get there.
