Danielle Dumas Review of Omni Mount Washington Resort
My husband and I stayed overnight for my birthday ...
My husband and I stayed overnight for my birthday Thursday, 7/5/18 at the Omni Mount Washington Resort in Bretton Woods, NH. The staff member at check-in was awkward and hesitant, as if unsure of her job duties and the check in process, asking us the same basic questions several times. No smile, no welcome. Our room while comfortable was dated. Our mattress was so soft I woke the next morning with a migraine and my back sore in three places. The quality of the food at Stickney s Steak and Chop Pub for dinner and the Main Dining Room the next morning for breakfast was good but the wait staff was forgetful and inattentive causing us to wait long periods without being served. The crowning insult was that the Valet staff, while polite and efficient (to our faces), wrote our last name, which is Dumas, as "Dumass" on our valet ticket (which I have kept). Frankly I'm appalled by this witless fratboy ploy. What, has Omni partnered with Starbuck's and permits it's staff the same liberties in "misspelling" patron's names while turning a blind eye? Given this chain's reputation and high prices I expect far, far better. You can be sure I will not be recommending the Mount Washington Resort to any of my friends, colleagues or business relations. As this was a rare birthday celebration I was greatly disappointed and left with a very sour taste in my mouth.
