Front desk staff were nice and cookies at check in...

Front desk staff were nice and cookies at check in were delicious however it would have been nice knowing the pool was going to be closed. No information was included about the closed pool/gym prior to making the reservation. We ve stayed at 2 different hotels the previous weekend to this and each of which had COVID regulations specifically for the pool including signup times for the pools and decreased number of guests allowed at one time in the pool area. Additionally, there were no menus within the room for the food onsite and after calling down found that it was a limited menu which is fine except it didn t include anything for kids and the kitchen couldn t produce even a grilled cheese which is the most simple item and should always be included on a limited menu. If the hotel can t provide a disposable menu, it would be nice to have a QR code that goes directly to menu items which is up to date with COVID times. Room is decent however not really updated and has paint chipping around the window, the AC is pulling away from the wall and the popcorn ceilings are not the cleanliest and probably impossible to clean between guests staying. The hotel does make sure guests know they are striving for clean and it was nice to have hand wipes and a remote control wrapped in a plastic bag.
