Oh my goodness, I can t even begin to describe how...

Oh my goodness, I can t even begin to describe how good of an experience we had here. My husband and I were visiting Dallas and always love to find a good steak restaurant and found Nick and Sam s, so we decided to treat ourselves for our one year anniversary. Right from the get go the service was top of the line. Our server, I believe his name was Demetri? was amazing from start to finish. The manager came and greeted us. They heard it was our anniversary and gave us complimentary champagne. From there we ordered everything. The menu (both food and drink) was too good not to!

We got oysters, and the only complaint I have is that the shells were broken on almost all of them. The oysters themselves were great. They had a bluefin toro sampler which was incredible. I had never had bluefin before and the sampler came with tartar, sashimi, and nigiri. It was like butter! So good. We got complimentary caviar which was fantastic. The sommelier, Jeff (who is a great somm and very knowledgable!) saw a duck confit he thought we would like and that would pair well with our drinks and let me tell you: it was amazing! The flavour and texture was just mouthwatering.
