I was very, very ( I could type very 1000 times) disappointed with our stay. Let me begin by saying that the nursng staff was very (1000 times again) at making rounds. First nurse always talking about how busy she was. Saw nurse about two hours after shift change. I know report have to be given but two hours. Really! Pain meds that were very much needed, were given around about time scheduled. We almost always had to call for them. And about that. The person answering the call light would sometimes acknowledge that they heard your request and at other times just clicked you off. Very rude and unprofessional to say the least. Ted hose were requested numerous times and I never received them.(Doctor's orders). When I was visited by the doctor he asked why I didn't have them on. Never was hooked up to the ice pack machine. (Again doctor's orders). I asked that one of my nurses be removed from my care because I had NO confidence in her ability. I was placed on a full liquid diet to begin with. After Dr. changed it, I got one meal according to new order then the very next meal back to original order. Meals were late. But after two bad meals, I really didn't care anymore if they came or not. I couldn't wait to get out of your facility. The only bright spot was my nurse Ben, and my CNA Austin and CNA Rose and the case manager. Under best of circumstances, a hospital stay is stressful, but under the circumstances I found myself in your facility was horrible. I would never recommend your hospital to anyone. My family members found the food in the basement cafe pricey and unappetizing.
