I purchased my 2012 Ford explorer form Green Ford roughly three months ago. Because the car had a few issues that needed fixed before I made the purchase, the manager agreed to have them fixed and it was part of the agreement. The windshield needed fixed or replace because of the rock chip and the back hatch "arm" needed replaced because it would not open automatically. They told me to bring it in the following week to be dropped of so I did so. Upon my arrival, they had no paper work for me and had no idea I was bringing my car in. Later that week they called and said I could drop it off and they would start on it Monday. They had my car for five days without offering me a rental. Tuesday evening I had not heard from GREEN about the standing of my car so I called them, they said they were waiting for the part, they could call tomorrow and let me know when it was finished. However, they never called. They did not have the common courtesy to call me throughout the week to let me know the standing on my car and when if would be finished. That Friday morning I called asking if I could pick my car up for the weekend for them to tell me yes but it is not finished. When I returned to GREEN to pick my car up they said that the wind shield had been replaced but the back hatch was still not in working order. Their guy that worked on electrical was out on leave for a broken arm, they would call when he was back. After waiting roughly 5 weeks and not hearing from them I called to find out when I would be able to bring my car in. They said I could bring it in as early as that day to have it finished up. I asked if there was a way I could have a rental car since last time they took a week and was told "we have a shuttle that will take you home." I understand they shuttle will take me home but what do I do in the time I don't have my car??
Not to mention the FOUR different times we had to go back in there to sign paperwork they forgot to give us, ect..
Needless to say, my husband and I have purchased two cars from them in the past and after this experience we will not return nor will will recommend GREEN to anyone in the future.
