Arthur Goldstein Review of The Kismet Inn

The Kismet Inn is a great destination restaurant. The ambiance is representative of of what a traditional Long Island seafood restaurant was like. It is set on the Great South Bay in Kismet. Take the ferry in Bayshore or walk into Kismet for lunch from Parking lot 5 in Robert Moses State Park. You will enjoy the ferry experience with spectacular views of the Fire Island Lighthouse and the Robert Moses Bridge. I recommend you sit upstairs taking in the cool breezes of the Bay.
The Kismet Inn has a full service bar. The bar tenders are fast and professional. Although the Kismet Inn is famous for its seafood, my favorite is the chicken parmagon! The mussels are fabulous. Ask for the cstch of the day. They will prepare any way you want. The Cole family, the owners of the Kismet Inn, are warm and friendly.
