Applied to a job through them that was listed as being in my hometown and fit my skill set almost perfectly. Talked to someone on the phone about it. They tell me they actually have two openings, but one is in Kernersville. Tell the person I'm only interested in the one in my hometown. They basically tell me "Oh, I didn't realize location was going to be a concern." Yes, yes it is a concern. Kernersville is nearly an hour drive for me. That's why I applied to the position in my hometown ONLY. So, after we get off the phone, I hear nothing. Repeated calls every couple days to both the office line and the cell number. Nothing. I tried emailing twice a week. Nothing. Call and ask the operator if the person is in their office lately. She says yes they have been. Ask if I can speak to them. She says sorry he's not in right now, can I take a message? Ask if I can speak to someone else because I haven't heard anything from that person. "Sorry, they're the only people handling those type of jobs. No manager either." Gave up and left a message with the operator for the person to call me. That was Friday. Nothing to this date. No explanation of anything. A quick email or phone call with a status update would do wonders... Terrible communication. I have all email and call records. NOT recommended.
