I m very surprised at the low level of service at ...

I m very surprised at the low level of service at this hotel this week. I ve made a couple of calls to guest services throughout the week and was spoken to as if my call was a bother. I just tried to call room service 3 times. Each time I was asked to be put on a brief hold, then when my call was answered and I asked for room service, I was transferred to a number that rang a few times and a recording said the person at this extension is not available. On my fourth call I was again asked to be placed on hold, I told the girl this was my fourth try to get to room service and I was being forwarded to a number that wasn t available . There was no apology, but rather in a very direct tone was asked if I could be placed on hold. I said, I don t think I want to be put on hold again and she hung up on me. I ve stayed in this hotel about 10 times as well as the Omni around the corner. If I have a choice next time, it will definitely be the Omni. I would like to say that the gentleman at concierge and the Starbucks staff were nice and helpful. But the hotel service itself was very disappointing.
