**UPDATE: I've changed my rating from 1 to 3 after Provantage made things right.

I ordered some bulk cat6a cable from Provantage. I received an email a few days later saying it was backordered and wouldn t be shipping for a couple weeks. I needed it sooner, so I called and cancelled the order. I then purchased the same cable from another company (for a bit more money). A couple weeks later I received the cable from Provantage that I had cancelled. I contacted them so I could get it shipped back, and they said they had no record of me calling to cancel the order in the first place. This was frustrating. I still wanted to return the cable either way so I requested an RMA. The RMA took two days to get approved, but I was on a short vacation when the email came across. When I finally read the email 5 days later, O realized it was only good for 10 days from receipt of the email. Another frustration. So now I scramble to get the shipping labels created and realize it s going to cost me around $100 to ship due to the weight. So I contact Provantage to see if they will cover the cost of the shipping. No luck. I was told that shipping labels are for damages and defective returns. We do not provide them for items that are no longer wanted or needed. So despite calling and cancelling the order originally, I m now stuck with a spool of cable I no longer need that isn t worth shipping back. Guess it s going on Craigslist or Ebay. I will never do business with Provantage again. I don t like being made to feel like a liar when they were in the wrong.
