So as a lifeguard, it is required to have more than one lifeguard on deck, and according to the department of health, there should be at least a minimum of FOUR lifeguards supervising the deck, because in case of a possible spinal injury from a patron in the water, you will need three lifeguards handling the situation in the water, and one lifeguard on deck surveilling the pool deck. From my understanding, in NY state and the American red cross, THAT IS LAW!!!!!! I've heard stories from lifeguards who worked as Lifeguards for the State and for the City of New York, and all of them can tell you, that working for this company is a nightmare. Everyday feels like you can you lose your job at any given second. Managers deprive you from your lunch hours, you're barely allowed to relax on your 6 to 10 hour shift where no one comes to the pool or gym, and you are micromanaged to a fault. Don't get me started on some of the patrons, they can get these hands anytime, no age restriction.

The point is, if you work for NFC, and you go through the orientation process...don't believe all of the hype. The company truly doesn't care for you or your well being, so sue them while you still can.

Definitely do not I repeat do not work for NFC!
They do not care for their employees I nearly passed out and made the choice to rush to hospital and the next day I get fired because I put my health first I was in the wrong. Do not work for them. Especially Get ready for missing hours and unfair Treatment (favoritism) . With working a month you will see what I mean.

Unprofessional business processes, lack of tact and professionalism, respect for due process and extremely disengenous in their approach to handling self created situations.

Ashley Chaps, current Area Director, has left a nasty taste in my mouth where this company is concerned and that follows the HR team.

Very unprofessional and Will take them to task publicly if anyone from that company makes the mistake of even challenging what I have written here.

Think twice before taking this job. After I finished my second day of training (May 2019) I already had to run for the hills! The "director " of concierge department is a joke. First, the two days of training were based on my availability per the words of this "director " so my first day of training had to be rescheduled for a later shift due to the start time for a final exam for one of my classes changed to an earlier time. I let this "director " know in advance and she was ok with it and training was based on what would work for me. So, I finished the first day of training and to be honest barley learned a thing since all that was done was listen to her tell me extremely personal things about her ex husband and certain habits that most places would fire a person for. Then day two of training was set for early morning, but I had to change the time for that one due to a back injury that I already told her about prior before this day, and she said it would be ok and that would work out since I was going to train with another employee, which by the way was more knowledgeable than this "director " and 10x more professional. So, since training was based on days that would work for me, and as long as I got my training done before my real shift started later that week, it would be fine according to this "director". So I trained with this other employee and I learned sooo much more than I did than with the director. However, the day I trained with the other employee, it was so busy and he asked if I wouldn't mind coming in again, even though I wasn't scheduled, for a few more hours of training so I would know more before my actual shift started later that week. I said sure, and he said he would be available for the next two days and that I could come in on either one of those days, I told him I would just try to come the next day to finish training faster but I would call if anything changes. So, the flowing day that I was planning to go in for last minute training by the other employee, my daughter had to go to her doctor due to a sore throat, so I let this "director " know that I was coming in after my daughter's appt since I wasn't supposed to be there, but was still coming in to finish training at this other employee'd request. Then this lady or " director " lost it! She called me and was running her mouth being hostile, saying red flags were being raised and started bring up me having to reschedule training due to my final exam test time being changed, which she said was fine in the first place, since again, training was based on MY availability and what works for me, and a exam time change was beyond my control. She was speaking very unprofessional and rudely over the phone and she's supposed to be in "hospitality" ? NFC really needs to retrain or be more selective who they make "directors" and a drug test wouldn't hurt either, and should be done on employees, especially"directors"according to what I found out at this place. Plus this pot head, oh excuse me, "director" is disorganized as well, due to the fact that she lost a resident's key to their apartment, who does that? NFC really should "clean house" regarding their San Antonio, Tx properties.

NFC was ok at first. I m very disappointed about how they went about things. One day I woke up with a job, the following day the company no longer had a contract with the building I worked in. Without notice I was left without a job, as if people don t have families... but if you were to leave the company they would want a two week notice, yet I wasn t even given a 24 hour notice when I lost my job...

Disgusting and inconsiderate!!!!!
