Here I had a hosting package, canceled and the last invoice paid via the payment link on the website via IDEAL. A week later had confirmation from the support that the invoice was paid.

Now one and a half years later suddenly received a collection letter for this invoice .. Contacted support and treated very rude! I have, of course, submitted the proof of payment for the IDEAL payment, but this is settled with "the account number does not appear familiar to us, the claim remains, it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure a correct payment". This while I paid via the method offered by IXL hosting! Then the support will no longer respond to my messages.

Research shows that the relevant account number to which the money has been transferred is indeed from the Payment Service Provider of IXL hosting.
As a result, contacted by telephone to ask if IXL hosting could contact the relevant Payment Service Provider, Rabo Omnikassa, and to discuss the payment details and features there to be able to determine what went wrong.
This time I was bitten that I should contact the debt collection agency involved on this issue, and then the connection was broken.
For me never again IXL hosting, and for everyone who does have a package the advice, do not pay via the payment link in the system on the website!
