The Conrad Maldives was one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had and we highly recommend vacationing here. The location is of course amazing, you really feel like you are in paradise and it was the prettiest place I have ever been to. The resort feels really large as it spans two islands, we felt like we still hadn t seen it all by the end of the week. We stayed on the adult island which was away from a lot of the restaurants, but it was fun to walk over the bridge, and you could always take a gold cart ride or boat ride if you were too tired or ate too much.

One thing that made the Conrad so wonderful was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, we never had a negative experience with anyone. It was so easy to book activities and they went above and beyond to a accommodate us. I also appreciated that they had my dietary restrictions on file, so all of the restaurants made substitutions if needed without me having to ask. In terms of staff, I especially want to recognize Jamie, who was our staff point person for booking services. She was so helpful and kind. We also really appreciated Azim, the snorkeling guide. He is so easy to get along with and was so fun and knowledgeable during both of our excursions.

The restaurants at the Conrad were definitely very expensive, but we loaded up on free breakfast because of Hilton Honors. The breakfast buffet at Atoll market is amazing, they have everything there from omelets to asian dim sum to fresh fruit smoothies. We would eat breakfast and snacks we brought from home and then splurge on a good dinner.

All of the food was so fresh and healthy, we had fantastic scallops and tuna at Mandhoo, and lobster at Sunset Grill. We went to the underwater restaurant, which was so expensive but worth it, it was amazing to eat underwater and see sharks and fish swimming by. We also had a special Japanese dinner at Koko grill on the beach, It seats ten people but we had a private dinner by accident bc no one else signed up! It was so cool to have a dinner on the beach and the food was amazing.

If you are visiting the Conrad, I would encourage you to pick a few activities you really want to do, but also leave some time just to relax and enjoy the beach and pool. The infinity pool was so pretty and relaxing and swimming in the ocean was just what the doctor ordered. You can also take our paddle boards, boats and kayaks out for free which is fun!
In summary, we had an amazing honeymoon vacation, it is definitely a splurge but is so worth it for a special occasion, it really felt like we were at one the most gorgeous places on earth and the Conrad staff made us feel special and cared for while we were there.
