We are a small non profit & in July we ordered a new laptop & docking station, as well as a few other pieces of equipment. This was a huge stretch for our budget. The 2nd monitor kept going black, but it was a hectic time & the one monitor sufficed. Once our limited staff had a change to troubleshoot, it was a few months from ordering. A brand new monitor didn t fix the problem & I was advised that the docking station seemed defective. I contacted Provantage & it was outside of their warranty & told me to contact Dell. After nearly 90-minutes in the phone with Dell, I was told the docking station was not compatible with the laptop & they should not have been sold together. I was advised that Provantage should have asked for the model info of the laptop first, and Dell said Provantage was responsible. I reached out a 2nd time & even as the tech experts they declined to assist. So I m stuck with a relatively expensive piece of equipment that does not help me in using dual monitors. I m extremely frustrated by this, and will not recommend Provantage to anyone.
