I have gone to Associated Physicians for both my primary care and my OBGYN. I see Dr. Masana for my OBGYN needs and she is lovely. 5/5 for her. I am writing this review because of the woman I saw as my primary care physician, Dr. Dhillon. I saw her in 2019 and haven t been to the doctors since because it was such a negative experience. She was very straightforward, which is fine, but when it came to my weight and body she was very rude. I knew I needed to lose some weight which is a sensitive topic for me and I assume for most people. Dr. Dhillon felt that the appropriate way to approach this topic was to ask what s your weight loss plan? We had not been discussing that in any way, so I was pretty taken aback. I told her I didn t have one, to which she replied you need one . I felt totally overwhelmed and started crying. She did not try to comfort me; she just continued on with the appointment. This whole situation was incredibly triggering for me, and I can t believe that was how she brought up my needing to lose weight. I will not go back to Dr. Dhillon and I absolutely cannot recommend her. That being said, my other experiences with doctors and staff at Associated Physicians has been positive.
