Just saw Outside Mullingar in our first visit to the Unicorn Theatre of The Berkshire Theatre Group, and it was as good as live theatre can get. It is an intimate theatre with the farthest row from the stage being closer than most large theatre orchestra seats. The location and building, itself, are simply charming, the staff is very friendly, and the sound, lighting, and set designs are first rate. Outside Mullingar was exceptional with fantastic performances by all four actors who had exceptional timing and chemistry, both individually and as an ensemble. There were very touching moments and high drama with several comedic lines mixed in, in a highly captivating and entertaining performance. I would see it again in an instant, and highly recommend it to anyone. Wow!
