If I could give this place a lower rating I would. I'm only 17 and the family I live with are pushing my friend, our roommate and I out. My friend had been here before, and so has our roommate, so I decided to give this place a chance, since they pay okay wages. I went in and filled out the paperwork they had given me. On about every sheet, I filled out my birthday 05-09-2000. They had a photo copy of my ID, and the application even asked if I was 18+, so I answered honestly, checking no. After 3 weeks of waiting I finally received notice of a job opportunity. I started the job they had assigned me, and the next morning I wake up with a message saying that my assignment has ended and that Graham doesn't hire anyone under the age of 18. I understand why, and it's because a warehouse is a dangerous place, but this disappointed me beyond belief, and made me more angry than I had been in a while. My friend and I decided to go down to the office, and request an explanation. We ask to speak with HR and the guy (Gregg) is just rude. He told us that they had misread the papers, which we didn't believe, since it was clearly written on the forms, and clearly printed on my ID. I had told him I was confused about how he misread the date when they had 3 weeks to correct this mistake, and he was just a broken record saying "it was a mistake, it doesn't happen often but it does." We said we will take legal action, and he taunted us saying "go ahead" in a very disrespectful manner. For 3 weeks I waited for this job only to be immediately shut down after my first day, and being told they don't hire under 18. Like I said, I completely understand this, but it still wasn't right about what had happened. Graham Personnel is full of disrespectful people who won't help you, and obviously don't read the forms, or don't care to until it's too late. I will not be going back to Graham Personnel again.
