Service was nice and informative, food was just OK.....this experience was just to bland for the money.

This was the 1 and only blahhhhhh experience I have ever had here

I wanted to come here and enjoy a quite birthday dinner with my wife. She does not eat steak, but loves their Seabass.

We started with a Martini and a glass Scotch.. crabcakes, then 2 salads.

We then moved on to a few glasses of wine with dinner. My wife ordered the Seabass with a side of vegetables and I ordered a $90 steak MR with pepercorn sauce and some Lobster Mac and cheese. The wine took a while to get to the table, but everyone seemed busy so no harm there.. the food also took a bit longer than expected.. we had a 25 min lag between apps and entrees. When the food came out we were underwhelmed.. Her fish was very undercooked (chewy, not flaky) and my steak was black and crispy on top. We sent the fish back to get bumped up and I just sliced the top 20% burnt part off my steak off and just poured the peppercorn sauce over the top. My wife felt like the Lobster Mac was luke warm but did not want to say anything since her fish was undercooked as well.. A manager brought my wife's fish back and it was now cooked correctly. He did thank us for allowing them to correct the mistake.. Always great to hear that kind of response to a problem..

Opportunities:
There was no mention of my birthday from the hosts at the front door. I heard my wife throw a hint to the 3 ladies since she put it in the reservation. Always use the information people give you.. It is the easiest (and free)way to wow your guests
Use guests names, say thank you for enjoying your birthday with us, check on each course for satisfaction at least once if not twice.. manager table touch
