UPDATED REVIEW: 25C and no AC. I have now had my Civic from Carter Honda for just over 2 years 4 trips to the service department over warranty problems totalling to just over 20 hours of my time and I STILL have to go back. The reason I am now updating my review is because my AC was not working (blowing hot air) I had it checked when I was getting a recall sorted (trip one and two) and they said the fluid was low and for me to bring it back another time to get fixed so my 3rd time back to Carter Honda I get my AC fixed it was working well for a couple of weeks when it was once again blowing hot air. I called and brought my car back in for the 4th time to get it checked again; 4+ hours later I get a call saying the issue is covered under warranty but the part needed will take several weeks to come in. I asked if they could 'top up' my fluids in the mean time so I could have AC until the part came in and was told no Honda would not cover the $150 cost because it wouldn't solve the problem. So it is now 25C I have a virtually brand new Honda and I do not have AC in my car and apparently will have NO AC for a while longer. This is insane to me how there was NO empathy NO other options NOTHING has been done to make me feel like a valued customer. Its easy to get great customer service before you buy even a week or two after but I can't express how disappointed I am with how my situation has been dealt with at Carter Honda. I can't see my self purchasing with them again.

After visiting several Honda dealerships I was beginning to feel getting a new Honda Civic wasn't meant to be. I was, insulted, lied to and had my time wasted at two Open Road Honda dealerships and had been told by another dealership it would take 2-3 weeks for the desired model and color civic I wanted to come in; while other dealerships were selling them. On a whim I decided to look around at other dealerships and came across Carter Honda. They had the model and color I was looking for according to their site and it was in stock. Before I made the trip down to buy a car I called in advance to ensure that it was still in stock and for sale. I spoke with Lyle on the phone he was great. After heading down to Carter Honda and taking a civic cope for a test drive I was ready to buy. Discussing price was as to be expected for purchasing a car but no cheap sales tactics were involved. Lyle wanted to get me the best price I was comfortable with. we came to an agreed price and I then sat down with Sabrina (business manager) who was fantastic! In my opinion she has the right personality for her job. I put my deposit down and would go back the next day to finalize everything and get my new car. Next morning Sabrina followed up with me to let me know everything was on schedule. Went back to Carter, Lyle showed me around my new car while I waited for Sabrina to finish up with other customers. Sabrina did not pressure or push me to purchase any extras which was a nice feeling considering how many bad stories i had heard about the topic (I did purchase extended warranty later). Paperwork signed and insurance sorted I was a owner of a new 2016 Carter Honda Civic! Only thing that was missing was my car mats which had to be ordered which was understandable. Lyle had fantastic followup regarding the mats and kept me in the loop. Overall experience at Carter Honda was 5 star and will be recommending anyone i know looking for a Honda to head their way!
