VERY friendly and knowlegable staff. There was PLENTY of employees ready and so willing to assist me. The store is conveniently located downtown as is VERY clean and laid out very well. GREAT selection! Two BIG thumbs up for U.S. Outdoor Store and everyone there. Keep it up!

Just got back from the ski and snowboard show last weekend and was shopping at Next Adventure and felt very pressured into a purchase. This was not the case at U.S. Outdoor Store Very helpful staff and great products! Thanks again U.S. Outdoor store!

I've been shopping here for as long as I can remember for anything outdoors related. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable and I can always recognize faces years past whenever I visit. I also like supporting local businesses and this is one of the longest running businesses in the Portland area.

They sold me a very damaged pair of skis and didn t bother waxing them. It took four days to slide a binding and change a DIN setting (five minutes of work). The shop has fallen apart since the old manager, Tod, left. Head over to Next. You ll be much happier.

Great staff, great customer service. I purchased my first wet suit from these guys and they took time to make sure i had the properly fitting wet suit. When i noticed one of the seems on the wet suit begin to split. they repaired it and sent it back to me without a problem.

The employees at this place were super super helpful in picking out the right boot to snowboard in. They gave the rundown on multiple pairs and helped me pick out the boot that matched my performance level and price point perfectly and quickly.
