I had a really good experience with HT. I will say, this is not a place where you can just turn in your paperwork and expect for them to get you a job. You have to put in the work! My first experience with HT was unsuccessful, but I didn t email, call, reach out, or get to know the staff. My second time around and Julianne (who was not even the person I originally sat down with) was a huge help. We stayed in constant communication and when I tell you she found the *perfect* position for me... I truly appreciate her help.

The only reason I didn t give full 5 stars is that sometimes certain staff can be a little unnecessarily curt. It s just important to remember that most of us are probably stressed while trying to find a job, and the way staffing agencies work can be kinda weird/novel for most of us, so try to be gentle.

I reached out to Chrystal Long while in a job that I no longer wanted to be in. She was energetic and positive about opportunities and made me feel so relieved that she would find me my dream job. Only two weeks later, she proposed a job opportunity that perfectly fit with my skills and desires. She helped walk me through the entire process and whenever I felt discouraged, she would make me feel better and hopeful. I wound up getting the job and start next week. I had a wonderful experience with HT. The faith that Suzie had in me was amazing. I truly felt that I was important and that she wanted what was best for me. I did find a job thanks to her help. I have worked with HT Staffing for a little over 2 & 1/2 years now. I was introducted to HT as a new resident of Austin, looking for an HR job. They placed me at a company in an HR role. I worked for the company for 6 months as a temp, then they offered me a full-time position. In my job, I have been lucky enough to continue working with HT, as our primary staffing agency. Ashley Martinez from HT was an on-site rep for us for a while. Ashley always does an awesome job! She's great at finding us qualified candidates for our open positions!!! I would definitley recommend HT Staffing to other companies, and to my friends looking for jobs!

My husband went in and went through the process to get on with a company they said was hiring, he never got called. He called in available as directed and still never got placed anywhere. Very difficult for a man with a wife and 3 kids to support and we have to live with his family. Still unemployed.

I have to admit I was a little doubtful at first but I'm so happy with my experience! I worked with Krystal Matthews to get placed at my current job! she had great follow-up and did all the leg work for me. I was having a hard time finding the right job for me outside of Sales, and after an interview with Krystal she had interviews lined up for me! I was only with the HT Group a few months (I wasn't in a rush since i was employed still) and they found me a job with better benefits, pay and facilities. I would highly recommend their services to anyone.

She communicates well and effectively not to mention within a timely manner. When one assignment fell through she made sure that she found a different assignment for me to take on. Quick results and extremely professional staff

This whole experience has been positive and almost effortless for me compared to my other experiences with internship or job searches, and to be honest, this would be a very unlikely way to describe a scenario when one is unemployed and desperate. In November 2014, I was laid-off, and immediately started applying for jobs and had a few interviews. Then I applied with HT Staffing. Although the initial position I applied for had been filled before my interview with Chrystal Long. She told me that she liked my resume and thought she could definitely place me in a more fitting role than the one I applied for. She said she would hold on to my resume and would let me know if another and better opportunity came along. Naturally, I hesitated to completely believe what I thought was like the usual, discouraging line, "we'll keep your resume on file," but to my surprise, I was wrong. Chrystal called me a week later and told me about a temporary job opportunity to hold me over during the holidays while something better came along, and I accepted. After that, she called me again a week after and told me about an opportunity with Atkins Global. I went to the interview, and later that same day, Chrystal called me and told me that I had been offered the job.

Chrystal was straight forward and supportive the entire time, wanting to hear about the interview afterwards and offering genuinely helpful advice during decision making moments. She demonstrated to me that she actually cared about me and my professional career. I am so thankful to her for all her hard work which was dedicated to getting me a job...hard work that actually led to a job opportunity, unlike all my own efforts that did not provide results. I definitely recommend HT Staffing to everyone. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have a good job with a great company that I am happy to have.

HT Group has placed me at two long-term engagements over the past 5 years. Of all the staffing firms I ve done business with, they re the only one to truly follow through on promises. More importantly, they really take the time to know you and match you with the right opportunity at the right company.

More recently, I worked with Julianne Lopez and she was a delight to work with. She as very professional and encouraging throughout the entire process. She even checked in on me long after my first day. Talk about true professionalism and top notch service!

I've recently moved to Austin and was applying to various Administrative Assistant positions. One of the positions I had applied for directed me to this staffing agency. When they called for an interview I was excited, I went in, did their testing, was told that they would reach out within the week with the list of employers they had, and found out I was hired through an email with their welcome package. I've sent the documents back to them promptly and noted that they ask for weekly check ins. The only contact information I had was from the initial interview but as prompted I'd check in weekly with questions. It's been over a month without an update. I've since applied to other places and have been hired with another agency that has communicated with me often. Communication is everything especially when you're left with more questions than answers.

The employee Will Dillard scammed me on Craigslist, I would be extremely cautious doing anything with this agency. Feel free to contact me for more information.

I had a great experience with HT. They found me a position right away for good pay at a reputable company and just today I was hired full time at the company. They were always available whenever I had questions, and definitely friendly. I highly recommend them over other hiring agencies in the area.

I ve had the opportunity to work with Chrystal Huth, and boy am I amazed with her charismatic efforts and enthusiasm to work with me. I have been on the job hunt for the past 3 months, and working with different recruiters has been truly dreadful. It seems as though many recruiters are only investing in themselves (hitting personal quotas) versus really caring about their clients and doing everything they can to help them find the perfect job.

HT always reached out to let me know about different opportunities and always replied back to any question fairly quickly. The quality of positions available were great as well (not warehouse jobs). Job placement was very quick as well.

After 3 weeks of not hearing back from them I decided to call back to speak to the person I interviewed with I get sent to voicemail once again but this time I didn't leave one because last time I didn't receive a call back then after I hang up I get an email back from her saying all my emails went to get junk folder OK understandable but why did it take 3 weeks to check your junk folder and one of the emails I sent her I replied from a email she sent me so I find it hard to believe that one was in the junk folder I just think this whole situation has been unprofessional

I was sent by HT Group a couple of years ago to Kendra Scott. There was constantly a problem of them accusing me of not showing up to work when scheduled or me not being on the security list when I showed up to work. I mean they got nasty about it even when I explained that I hadn't been scheduled. I would get emails from 2 or 3 different people at HT Group who didn't know what the other was emailing me, but then tried to put the blame on me for the confusion.
Don't know why I agreed to be sent out to Kendra Scott by them this past weekend, but sure enough when I got there, I wasn't on the list, and not in the computer, so I couldn't sign in and out, which is the way we get paid. I called Monday morning and told HT what the situation was, and as of now, Wed. afternoon, still don't have confirmed that my hours have been confirmed. Just got talked down to by Beth at HT Group. Like I'm not supposed to be concerned that Friday is payday and they still haven't confirmed my hours. She told me how busy HT is and how busy Kendra Scott is and how many people are in charge out there. Not helping their cause. I won't ever go back.

HT Staffing is decent. I know how difficult it can be to find temp staff who are reliable, intelligent, and punctual. I was impressed with the quick response time. I requested staff for a large event and receive a follow up phone call from the Sales Director within an hour. She was knowledgeable about the Austin temp labor market, but also reasonable when negotiating a price that worked for my budget.

Unfortunately, I will not be using HT Staffing again because of the inconsistency of the brand ambassadors placed on assignment and because the Sales Director asked me to sign off on a new invoice with a .63 cent discrepancy due to her own mileage reimbursement calculation error. This was pointed out four days after I signed off on the original invoice, and after the staff in question arrived 45 minutes late and was dismissed two hours early. Just seemed really odd to ask for .63 cents back.

They found me something good literally the same week that I interviewed with them! Julianne and the team are very professional and very helpful in not only finding work, but also updating your resume to look its best and be well-suited to ATS. Very, very happy with this company.

I've worked with a number of staffing companies in the state of Florida, and HT Group was my second experience here in Austin, TX. In almost every case the service I received was better than fair, but at the HT Group it service was much better than fair: it was worthy of a 5-star review.

The staff was really sweet and gave attention to what type of job you would like. The down stars are for the companies that they choose to work with. One company did a lot of questionable things like making you work longer than planned hours, another went out of business several weeks after starting and the last one didn't have any training but expect you to meet quotas. Again the staff is great but a lot of the jobs are dead ends.

Highly responsive, detailed, efficient and really understood what we needed and what we didn't.

Wow. I love it how unprofessional they are. First they lure you and you start believing that you are gonna get a good job, and then bam, they just disappear. No contact, no follow-up, no communication in any way. I wonder why I don't get a job despite me being far more professional, organized, disciplined and passionate than all of the unprofessional people I have come across this year at every place.

Worst job hunting experience. Do not go to the North Austin location. Everyone there looked unkempt (wearing only jeans and flip flops) and also looked like they rolled out of bed. The recruiter that I had been talking to on the phone, emailing, and arranged the interview with didn't even take the time to meet me. I instead got passed around to 2 other recruiters/managers where they asked questions I had already answered with my 1st recruiter. I really don't understand the point of dragging me in for an in-person interview when you are just a third party staffing agency. I went into my 9am interview all the same and was told that they didn't have any jobs for me and that I didn't have any experience (which is an awfully quick judgement to make). Why couldn't have that been said via email or on the phone? I am not salty that they didn't have any jobs at that time because I've worked as a recruiter for a temp agency, so I know how staffing firms operate, but I just also felt like they weren't even trying to WORK to see what else i'd be open to, the jobs they felt that I WAS qualified for. Instead, the staffing manager, the last person I spoke with at the end of my "interview" was basically like "Sorry. Can't work with ya...but keep in touch and let us know how you are coming along". I left there feeling like this whole experience was a complete waste of time, that I wasn't valued, and that anyone there was not working for my business. Still don't understand why I was passed along to so many people when they don't seem to communicate with each other. I was also told to bring in my I-9 supporting documents and a voided check for direct deposit with my interview (which I thought was strange seeing as how I hadn't been offered a job yet), but the receptionist didn't even take my voided check. All in all, this was not a professional or satisfying experience. I emailed the 1st recruiter that I had been corresponding with to remove me from her files/contact lists and she responded with, "Thank you for letting me know. Keep my contact info for the future and send people my way". I most certainly will not.

Chrystal H. is amazing recruiter, very professional, very transparent to the point and works with the candidate on finding exactly what they want. First recruiter that actually responds to emails in matter of minutes, send me the stuff she emails the employer about me and more. Very happy and highly recommended.

I began working with the HT Group over a month ago and from the beginning they were an extremely resourceful company with many connections in the area. I recently moved to Austin, so it was the best networking method to use. The last two years had been a roller-coaster with jobs, from not being happy with the position I was in, to being laid-off, and overall not able to reach the opportunities I felt I was worth. After sending out hundreds of applications (and that is no exaggeration), interviews that didn't lead to much (or chose not to pursue due to lack of interest), I finally received a call from the HT Group. No joke, they get straight to work! As soon as they called, we talked briefly, set up an interview, and the next day I was sitting having four different interviews with four different Staffing Managers describing my ideal job, where I saw myself and what I could bring to the table. Before I had left that day, I had already been considered for about two or three positions. Taylor, a Staffing Manager, told me she thinks I'd be a perfect fit for a job she had in mind, and she got me an interview set up within the day or so. That following Monday, I was in a position I've dreamed of having the opportunity to be in, in an Awesome working environment (my co-workers are Fantastic!), and ultimately became a full-time employee!!
Seriously, if you are tired of doing the job hunt, and you feel you can't get anywhere, Go To The HT Group! It would've saved me a Ton of time if I knew about them to begin with.

I have a background in Accounting, but when I moved to Austin, I decided to change my career path to something I was more passionate about -- Health & Fitness. For the past two years, I've been grinding and hustling in that industry (personal training, fitness studios, etc.) but I missed a structured schedule. To be honest, I felt like it was really difficult applying for jobs with such an "all-over-the-place" resume, plus, I wasn't going to settle for a job that I wasn't passionate about.

I had the best experience interviewing with The HT Group! They totally have a great system to get customers in & out the door without feeling rushed or inferior. They prep you with what to bring in, what to expect and even have a computer lab for you to complete your post-paperwork. (Nice & efficient)!!

I worked with them a few years ago and they found me something quick but it was a bad fit. My recruiter was extremely rude when I expressed my concerns. Now that I m looking for employment again, I ve applied to many positions through The HT group over the past few months, figuring I could work with a different person. I know that I m qualified but I haven t heard back from anyone in any way whatsoever.

WORST. EMPLOYMENT. AGENCY. EVER.
They will send you out to one interview and if you do not get the job, they'll never contact you again. Julianne wouldn't even reply to my emails.
If you want to get a job, don't go to this place.

I don't recommend this agency to anyone. Supposely had 2 jobs and called me in for one and told me about another. Never contacted me to come in. No email or call to explain why.
But they are so sorry and they said they want to help find you a job. I say NO THEY DONT.

I've been actively seeking an alternative approach to test the job market or to get an assessment of my transferable skill set into other markets at management / executive levels here in Austin and I found this group in a sea of others like them and figured I would give them a shot. After reading the website I submitted my resume in the category designated for executives and after a week or so, no response. I let more time pass and I emailed the group to inquire about a status and or progress update, and again no response. I decided to call and spoke to an admin. who gathered some information as to where and what category I directed my resume - I was told to resend my resume and would be contacted, as of today's date nothing. The HT Group has a great website and I'm sure is an effective service, but as a municipal executive I was disappointed in that it appears exclusive and selective in the clientele it chooses to assist.

Please be away from this company and do not trust them, they treated all employees in very bad way.

I had an excellent experience with The HT Group. I was referred by a previous supervisor after unexpectedly getting laid off. From the initial interview with Chrystal Long, I could tell this group really cared about their clients, as well as placing individuals with companies that would fit their needs. I've been working for HT North Austin for about a year now. They have been exceptional in matching me with assignments that meet my current needs. I never have to wait more than a week to receive offers for assignments, whether long term or short term. The particular agents that I work with are always available and promptly reply to any communications I send.

Being new to a city can be a very stressful time in someone's life. Fortunately for me, having to worry about where to find work didn't add to that. Katelin and the people at The HT Group work hard & fast and provided me with several options, for the kind of work I was looking for, in the area I preferred. Suzie Jimenez was great to work with. She looked at my resume and talked with me about my experience. She then recommended a few changes to make. As soon as I made those changes on LinkedIn and Indeed I had 7 people contact me that day. I had 3 interviews the next week and I started my job the week after that. I actually found a job that HT Staffing didn't send my way but it was all thanks to Suzie's wonderful help. She understands the Austin tech market and was very helpful.

I want to recommend HT Staffing to anyone looking for a job, I had moved from Miami to Austin and due to my experience I was able to find the career i was looking for, they are responsible and trustworthy and I never had any issues in regards of my paystub, after three months the company that HT Staffing found me and which I am currently working for had hired me temporally. If you are looking for a job, do not hesitate to contact them!

After I left The Rude Group I said to my self, do you really need a job? I am pretty sure the recruiter are very friendly with the employers not with the candidates! Love what you do or other wise you will hate your job and you will spread your bad energy around you. You make money out of our talent and experience, you should treat both equally. I hope this goes to the manager and read it carefully, if I was able to find all these bad business indicators in one hour than imagine the rest, you are doing a bad job! An update, I did call and still haven t heard back, just like my assigned recruiter.

I have nothing but great things to say about HT Staffing. This is my first experience with a staffing agency. From the moment I walked into HT Staffing I received 5 star service particularly from Chrystal.

When I went in to meet with Chrystal, we went over my skills, experience, and my work place preferences as well as my goals and where i saw myself in a few years. After talking with her, she ended up giving me not only a sense of confidence in my skills but helped me discover exactly what I was looking for in the "perfect job."

I met with HT Staffing on a Wednesday and the following week, I was already placed for an interview. Within a matter of weeks I had an offer letter with a company I see myself growing with for years to come! Now that's faster than I had expected!

The entire process was seamless and I would not have been able to do it without Chrystal!

If you are needing to find a job, or taking a leap of faith like myself, definitely call HT Staffing, they are a blessing in disguise!

They stop responding to your email after awhile. I never heard back from anyone.

They are very efficient to what your looking for and great fast communication. I also submitted some hours late in the week but they added them fast regardless that I had almost missed the deadline. They are awesome.

Short story: Chrystal wasted our time, and mislead my wife into cleaning a kitchen and clearing plates. Talked her into doing a ONE day temp position when she was looking for a full time career in the marketing field..... It is like buying a used car, except they sell people. Never using this agency again, and I want people to know why.

Long story: A great named company (I will call it Company X) was looking for someone as an administrative assistant. My wife figured she might be able to get in the on the ground floor in that role, and move into something more marketing related down the line.

All of this was explained in a clear and concise way to the HT Group. She was looking for the right fit in the right company, and not taking a job just for the sake of it. Her wish list never included:
-A single day temporary position, covering a shift while a current employee was out.
-With ZERO opportunity for growth or visibility within Company X.
-Being sold a difficult position to fill, and wasting everyone's time.

Directly from Chrystal's email to my wife:
"They need help covering the front desk, answering phones, greeting guests. Check out their website at [removed]. Dress is professional" and "It is your responsibility to get us your approved timecard each week"

While it is true she will be sitting at the front desk, there will be no answering phones. It also seems the janitorial duties were left out of the email, go figure. I would like to say she made a mistake, or misunderstood the requirements. But in reality Chrystal had a crap position to fill, and she misled my wife in order to fill it.

Not by my choice, my wife decided to stay the entire day to help company X out. She felt bad, and the entire process was a very negative experience.

Having an updated account with The HT Group will help you getting the job you want.

I had a great experience with this agency. My recruiter was Krystal M. and I now have a permanent full time job with a company she assigned me to. They move very quickly so if you are on the hunt for a job I would recommend this agency as a great place to start.

The HT Group is a wonderful place to work for people who want to work. They have great jobs from professional business owners who are willing to give HT employees a chance to work. Mrs. Stephanie has kept me employed since starting at HT Group. She very loyal and committed to helping her employees obtaining the best employment her clients are in need of and I personally applaud her for the outstanding job she is doing! Ms. April is a very courteous and professional receptionist. And ,is always willing to try to help with any situation she can. I salute my company: THE HT GROUP!!

PRO: Day-to-day they leave me alone, very little interference in my client relationship, which I appreciate. I love the weekly pay cycle. Administration of my contract and my HR needs is efficient and easy to accomplish. I love my recruiter and Admin.
CON: low pay rate, (their cut is 25% of total bill rate), and no conversation about an increase at contact renewal. (To be fair, I did not request it, either) And i don't know my client Rep ; he doesn't call or stop by at all, I've been here a year and he's only been by once, when my client manager changed. Benefits are average for the market.

At least in this account, HT is more an employment agency than a consulting firm, but I like working here well enough, and recommend the company as ethical and treats employees well.

Was hard to watch fibs from Jennifer Gonzalez compound endlessly into new fibs to cover up old fibs. Really, Jennifer? I'm supposed to come work with you because you can't be honest with me? I'll pass on HT.

Horrible company! If you want a job, do not go here! I have been many times and worked with melissa and julianne and neither helped even try to place me somewhere. I have sent many many many emails and phone calls asking about positions and trying to get placed and I dont even get a response! Very unprofessional and they will not communicate! They have a job though so they put up a nice front in "helping" others to get work but yet nothing! If I could rate 0 stars I would! I have worked with other agencies that actually care!
