I've recently moved to Austin and was applying to various Administrative Assistant positions. One of the positions I had applied for directed me to this staffing agency. When they called for an interview I was excited, I went in, did their testing, was told that they would reach out within the week with the list of employers they had, and found out I was hired through an email with their welcome package. I've sent the documents back to them promptly and noted that they ask for weekly check ins. The only contact information I had was from the initial interview but as prompted I'd check in weekly with questions. It's been over a month without an update. I've since applied to other places and have been hired with another agency that has communicated with me often. Communication is everything especially when you're left with more questions than answers.
