A great space for intimate concerts, and they get really talented musicians. The seating is cushioned chairs lined around the rooms, and most tickets are general admission, so be prepared to line up outside at least 30 minutes before the doors open. They recently added wooden bars that are great for...

Such an interesting building! The main room was great, and my partner and I were impressed by the soundproof quality of the doors. The workers are genuine and pleasant. My one complaint: There aren't trash cans in the stalls of the female restrooms... Awkward.

They make you wait in line before the show. Most of the venue was reserved for a private party, so it was hard to figure out which good seats were still available. You also have to be a member to buy alcohol, which costs $5 for a few months, or $20 for the year. Otherwise snack and drink prices a...

Oldest, continually running, nonprofit music venue in the country. Great fundraiser at Hill Auditorium where 3,400 fans sample music varieties on the last Friday and Saturday nights in January. Folk, roots, some jazz, local, and internationally renowned artists.

Go. Go. Go. I've seen amazing shows, & good shows but I've never once been disappointed here. Very intimate sized venue. Seems like every night there, an audience member says something out loud during the performance... & the performer hears them & responds! I love the easy, comfortable exchange. Li...

Paid $36 for a comedy show, which is on the high end of reasonable, but ok. Was shaken down for an additional fee for the privilege of overpaying for a warm beer and $4 "mocha" which was just burnt drip coffee with lumpy cocoa packet mix floating on the top. Before the show we had to sit through a g...

Great small venue. Attended the meet and greet and Morgan James was a doll.

The seating situation was weird for premium paid tickets you could not sit on the first two rows. Since there were only about 20 people at the meet and greet that was weird. Plus they waited until we were all seated to ...

Fabulous music by Jim Bizer and Jan Krist at The Ark! The Ark is one of the best venues I go to for listening to music. It's the perfect size for a concert. The acoustics are great. When you join The Ark as a member you help keep this gem going strong. Love The Ark!

Great sound stage. We saw Dave Alvin here and it was excellent. It's sort of a non-profit place as all of the staff are volunteers. This makes tickets cheap but it's still somewhat exclusive due to it's small size.

It's clean, nice, with a small concession stand that serves beer/wine.

I enjoye...

It is an intimate setting which makes a concert or a show experience very different, in a positive way! Solid drink menu with reasonable prices. You do have ...

Intimate Venue with great sound
I love the Ark. It is a community treasure that features both local and national music (sometimes both, like the Jeremy Kittel Band, who I saw last weekend).

Reserved seating usually costs only a few dollars more than the general admission tickets, but there's not...
