Sad to see a place that I used to go to during my childhood has fallen under the temptation of greed. I had not been here for several years due to relocating across the nation, but when I had excitedly visited this place only to find out that I have to pay $5 (which for some stable income families t...
High quality apple fields. They have many apple trees, enough that even though we were late in the season, there were still apples left to pick. They have a kid zone with slides and jungle gym style toys. The corn maze is only open like 2 days a week, so plan ahead if that's up your alley.
My wife and I love spending time at the farm! The admission fee is a bargain considering the extremely reasonable concession prices and the hours of entertainment. We could make a meal of donuts and apple cider slushies!
I've usually had good luck buying peaches but this time they were mealy. They told me to let them know the next time I was in there and the'd give me another basket of them or I could get whatever I wanted. That's pretty good customer service!
This is a great farm with activities for kids to do. However, admission is $10 per person. If you are just picking apples there is no admission fee, you just pay for the apples purchased. I absolutely loved the freshly made apple cider donuts and cider slushies and the apple cider is absolutely d...
Kids loved it, but if they were my kids I'd have to pay $60 ($10x4 kids + $10x2 adults) to ride the hay ride. How could a medium or large family afford that? Don't forget cost of pumpkins, apples and candy, which you will be buying if you have children with you.
Not a place for toddlers and babies - there's no changing stations and strollers are difficult to push on the gravel paths. If you have a walking, potty trained child, then this is fun.
Our family's first experience going to Stuckeys was when our two oldest kids were in kindergarten and on a field trip with their school. We have been going back every year since! Our family loves the donuts and the cider! There are so many things to do and participate in.. Would recommend it to an...
Apple picking at Stuckey's is a pleasure. Rows of apple varieties ready for picking are we'll marked. Fruit is easily reachable. Quality is good. Employees are knowledgeable and helpful.
Use to love to bring my kids to pick apples and get apple cider slushies. Now that you have cruel pig races, I wont be back. Family fun at an orchard should be about apple picking and hay rides, not teaching kids abusing animals unnecessarily for entertainment is fun.
Sunflower festival was going on, didn't seem very organized and just to go see the sunflowers and pick one was 13.50 a person, needless to say we didn't pay to go see the sunflowers, won't be returning
Stuckey's is the best place to go in Indy for apples, pumpkins, cider, etc. We always have such a great time whenever we go and it's definitely worth the admission fee (and the hour long drive!). The owners and workers there are some of the kindest people I've come in contact with and will help you ...
We purchased 2 tickets today for $25 for the "Sunflower festival." We were really disappointed to see how much the sunflowers were picked over and cut down. It took us a long time to find two decent flowers that were really small. Employees told visitors NOT to pick the large flower stalks but ever...
Took a group of students. They had fun walking around, picking apples, and walking through the pumpkin patch. A lot of trees were already bare, though.
We went to pick apples on a beautiful fall day. We decided to do the festival area as well, but that was a little bit of a letdown. Specifically the "corn maze" was only three or four feet tall (and thin at parts), so it didn't feel like your traditional maze as you could see over and through the en...
Lots of fun. Yes they charge for admission during the fall festival. You'll get your money's worth if you do more than just pick apples and pumpkins though.
Stuckey's ranks #1 with our family! They offer, hands down, THE BEST apple cider in town, AMAZING warm cider donuts, FUN activities for the whole family throughout the Fall and their family-run operation shines through with the above-and-beyond care they show their guests! Did I mention the apple c...
As you can tell from the single star, this wasn't a good experience.
It was our first time there, and we were an hour early. This isn't Stuckey's fault by any means, but the staff made the hour wait aggravating and stressful. As we sat on the bench we had more than one employee explain to us that...
Great produce, go every October for pumpkin picking. Not a fan of the recent changes of charging admission to go pick pumpkins though as we aren't interested in the other activities.
A great outdoor fall fun experience. We've gone so many times over the years and though my girls are now adults, we had as much fun as we did back in the day. The corn maze is well done...we loved the bridge! We were completely delighted in the sunflower patch and definitely stopped for some photo ...
Delicious freestone peaches. Ripe red tomatoes. Local honey. And there are goat milk soaps and amazing raspberry salsa. I bought a wonderful Lodge seven well cast iron muffin pan. All this on a hot sunny summer day with a glorious breeze coming through the open front door to cool customers as we sho...
No apples and no caramel apples. It's not the neat place it used to be, it's pretty much a comercial and a money trap. They are lucky they got one star from me.
Visited here this morning for the 1st time,it was heavenly. Beautiful sunflowers, perfect weather and delicious variety of fruits and fruit products. I definitely recommend.
Stuckey Farm is a great place to take your family for a day full of fall fun. The cider donuts are delicious and the cider is a wonderful treat. For $5 a person it is a great value for all of the activities and entertainment. It makes me sad to read reviews of people who are trashing Stuckey Farm...
I have come to Stuckey Farms for at least 35 years! The staff is always courteous, helpful and available for any questions or directions! I think the price for these apples is fair and just, given their products! Of course, I always do the apple icy every time I m there! Blessings
