Sad to see a place that I used to go to during my childhood has fallen under the temptation of greed. I had not been here for several years due to relocating across the nation, but when I had excitedly visited this place only to find out that I have to pay $5 (which for some stable income families that isn't much, but for my family and I $5 goes a long way to just to pick some apples), it was very upsetting. The service was rude. We couldn't find anyone to help us and when we did, the lady said she was going to check on that for us so we waited 15 minutes and then saw her doing something else. Very disappointing. I miss the old owners!!!
This was a very cool place. I loved the fresh doughnuts and the apple butter. Very cool place. The bags of apples are very affordable.
$10 per person for entry is steep, but has good donuts and apple cider.
It was just ok. You can't bring your dog and parking is tight
High quality apple fields. They have many apple trees, enough that even though we were late in the season, there were still apples left to pick. They have a kid zone with slides and jungle gym style toys. The corn maze is only open like 2 days a week, so plan ahead if that's up your alley.
Awesome pumpkin patch !!! Alot of activities to do all included in the entry fee, only $10 per person for a day full of fun
My wife and I love spending time at the farm! The admission fee is a bargain considering the extremely reasonable concession prices and the hours of entertainment. We could make a meal of donuts and apple cider slushies!
They close at 6pm(5pm on Saturday) not 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Updated review as apparently they only changed the hours today.
A very homely place for Christmas tree shopping and country life.
Had a great time. Pumpkins were pricey, but worth it took keep a local family in business!
What few red apples they had out were not worth buying. I bought honey & Apple butter, Apple cider. I went for apples.
It's a great Fall destination with lots of activities for kids of all ages to enjoy.
Great pies, apple butter.,Pumpkins. Coen maze and activities.
I've usually had good luck buying peaches but this time they were mealy. They told me to let them know the next time I was in there and the'd give me another basket of them or I could get whatever I wanted. That's pretty good customer service!
Great place to take the kiddos. Gotta get you an apple cider slushie and fresh Donuts. And a gallon of cider to go.
This is a great farm with activities for kids to do. However, admission is $10 per person. If you are just picking apples there is no admission fee, you just pay for the apples purchased. I absolutely loved the freshly made apple cider donuts and cider slushies and the apple cider is absolutely delicious!
Crowded, over priced. All the pumpkin's in patch are rotted
Kids loved it, but if they were my kids I'd have to pay $60 ($10x4 kids + $10x2 adults) to ride the hay ride. How could a medium or large family afford that? Don't forget cost of pumpkins, apples and candy, which you will be buying if you have children with you.
Fun with kids, lots of selection, kind of expensive.
It was a store not a pumpkin patch. Walmart has a better selection of pumpkins. There were no attractions and there weren t helpful at all.
Great apples and fun for the kids! Shop has a little bit of everything. Great service and products
Not a place for toddlers and babies - there's no changing stations and strollers are difficult to push on the gravel paths. If you have a walking, potty trained child, then this is fun.
Good family place... Credit Card machine doesn't always work.
Our family's first experience going to Stuckeys was when our two oldest kids were in kindergarten and on a field trip with their school. We have been going back every year since! Our family loves the donuts and the cider! There are so many things to do and participate in.. Would recommend it to anyone that wants to spend a few hours doing a fun family activity on a Saturday or Sunday!
Apple picking at Stuckey's is a pleasure. Rows of apple varieties ready for picking are we'll marked. Fruit is easily reachable. Quality is good. Employees are knowledgeable and helpful.
Use to love to bring my kids to pick apples and get apple cider slushies. Now that you have cruel pig races, I wont be back. Family fun at an orchard should be about apple picking and hay rides, not teaching kids abusing animals unnecessarily for entertainment is fun.
Sunflower festival was going on, didn't seem very organized and just to go see the sunflowers and pick one was 13.50 a person, needless to say we didn't pay to go see the sunflowers, won't be returning
Stuckey's is the best place to go in Indy for apples, pumpkins, cider, etc. We always have such a great time whenever we go and it's definitely worth the admission fee (and the hour long drive!). The owners and workers there are some of the kindest people I've come in contact with and will help you with anything you need. Going to Stuckey's is always one of my favorite parts of fall! I would HIGHLY recommend going (and trying the m&m covered caramel apples).
We purchased 2 tickets today for $25 for the "Sunflower festival." We were really disappointed to see how much the sunflowers were picked over and cut down. It took us a long time to find two decent flowers that were really small. Employees told visitors NOT to pick the large flower stalks but everyone was doing so. Not worth the long line to get in and the price of admission.
Great place to spend a day with the family. Staff is always friendly and orchard is always well kept.
A lot of fun things for kids to do plus pick your own apples. They show how apple juice is made and have a store with things to buy.
A little pricey but the sunflower festival was fun!
Took a group of students. They had fun walking around, picking apples, and walking through the pumpkin patch. A lot of trees were already bare, though.
Very fun fall experience and free taste testing of apples. Hahaha!
Nice place with plenty of fresh, natural honeys, salsas, hot sauces etc. Don't forget to get a apple cider slushy in the way out the door!
Sad, sad place this has become. The children who have inherited their parents hard work have let their own greed consume them.
We went to pick apples on a beautiful fall day. We decided to do the festival area as well, but that was a little bit of a letdown. Specifically the "corn maze" was only three or four feet tall (and thin at parts), so it didn't feel like your traditional maze as you could see over and through the entire area. The apples, however, were very good and the prices seemed reasonable. I loved the fact that they have different sized bags at different prices, so you know ahead of time exactly how much it will cost rather than being surprised by the weight and cost at checkout. There was also a nice variety of different types of apples and the rows were well marked. One suggestion to make things even better would be if the signs provided the similar helpful table description found on the website (good for baking, sweet vs tart, etc).
Chilly temperatures, but always warm, friendly faces. Love Stuckey Farm this time of year.
Nice kid friendly. Might wanna leave pets at home. Apple cider slush is a win!
Delicious apple donuts, cider, slushees, everything. Fun outing.
Love it ever since I was a kid. Alot of walking but it's a really cool place. You can take some great pictures.
Great place to take your family. Love the donuts and cider!
Lots of fun. Yes they charge for admission during the fall festival. You'll get your money's worth if you do more than just pick apples and pumpkins though.
Fun place to pick apples and get some fresh produce
Loved the apple slushies and the courteous staff with a teaching heart
Stuckey's ranks #1 with our family! They offer, hands down, THE BEST apple cider in town, AMAZING warm cider donuts, FUN activities for the whole family throughout the Fall and their family-run operation shines through with the above-and-beyond care they show their guests! Did I mention the apple cider slushies? Love Stuckey Farm!
The donuts are amazing and so are the apple cider slushies.
As you can tell from the single star, this wasn't a good experience. It was our first time there, and we were an hour early. This isn't Stuckey's fault by any means, but the staff made the hour wait aggravating and stressful. As we sat on the bench we had more than one employee explain to us that they didn't open until 1, and we were not by the festival entrance. We explained we weren't here for the festival and we're waiting for the store to open. We realized the store doors were exit only because of the signage. We just wanted to wait there on the bench, in the shade, away from the forming crowds of people. One employee (red-headed elderly woman) told us multiple times we were at the wrong entrance in an incredibly rude way. I wanted to tell her to stop harassing us, but instead explained in an annoyed tone that we were waiting away from the crowds of people. She rolled her eyes at the answer. We thought when we finally got inside things would be better. We were wrong. "Specialty Cider Tasting" was $5 and absolutely not worth your time. You cannot purchase any of the ciders for tasting and you cannot taste the cider that is actually for sale. The tasting and apple picking are not included in the festival cost, by which we were thankfully not duped. The store was set up like an IKEA style maze, only letting crowds go one way. You'd better hope you didn't want that dressing three turns back, because you would have to battle the River Styx, with its lifeless souls waiting in line for the Underworld, to get to it. Most of the employees we encountered were tightly wound, barking at customers who tried to go the wrong way. The festival was expensive with little to do, so disappointed customers added to the stress. We left without spending any money. There are plenty less expensive, less stressing orchards to choose from. The only good part of the experience was the new employee working the fudge counter. She was not yet jaded by the Stuckey's festival experience. Thank you fudge lady for being the bright point in the day. Illegitimi non carborundum.
Great produce, go every October for pumpkin picking. Not a fan of the recent changes of charging admission to go pick pumpkins though as we aren't interested in the other activities.
Just a nice relief from wall to wall businesses in Indianapolis. A small drive can really ease the mind
Was there for special event, nice decor and atmosphere.
A great outdoor fall fun experience. We've gone so many times over the years and though my girls are now adults, we had as much fun as we did back in the day. The corn maze is well done...we loved the bridge! We were completely delighted in the sunflower patch and definitely stopped for some photo ops! Followed up with our apple picking and while the pickings were slimmer this year, we enjoyed it all the same.
We love Stuckey Farms! It's a great place to bring your kids! Very family friendly!
Fun picking fresh apples, plus other fresh veggies and fruit ready to go.
A cool spot on the Northside. Went for the Sunflowers but bought a pie and some BBQ sauce both produced by Stuckey Farms. Both were great.
Delicious freestone peaches. Ripe red tomatoes. Local honey. And there are goat milk soaps and amazing raspberry salsa. I bought a wonderful Lodge seven well cast iron muffin pan. All this on a hot sunny summer day with a glorious breeze coming through the open front door to cool customers as we shopped and friendly staff as they helped us. I spent about an hour exploring the store with its produce and ready-to-bake pies and baking mixes, its charming country and farm-themed gifts, plus the salsas and sauces and syrups, and aprons and cook books. This was my first visit to the Hamilton Boone County Line store. I had discovered them that morning at the Noblesville Saturday Farmers' Market. Friendly staff at their booth invited me to continue shopping at the store. It wasn't a very long trip from the Farmers Market to the Country Store. This is Indiana at its very best!
No apples and no caramel apples. It's not the neat place it used to be, it's pretty much a comercial and a money trap. They are lucky they got one star from me.
I liked this place but not enough seating to rest for visitors.
Visited here this morning for the 1st time,it was heavenly. Beautiful sunflowers, perfect weather and delicious variety of fruits and fruit products. I definitely recommend.
Stuckey Farm is a great place to take your family for a day full of fall fun. The cider donuts are delicious and the cider is a wonderful treat. For $5 a person it is a great value for all of the activities and entertainment. It makes me sad to read reviews of people who are trashing Stuckey Farms because of the admission. Stuckeys is a business and in order to have all of the activities that everyone loves to participate they have to have a way to cover their costs to operate and maintain such a high quality family place that we all love and want in central Indiana. Please be respectful of the owners and remember that behind every business is a group of people who are trying to make it a fun and memorable experience. Just like your local ice cream shop or favorite boutique, Stuckeys is a business that is trying to make a memorable and fun experience while covering their cost and still be for long run.
Weekdays no entrance fee. Crowds are mostly school children and it's much quieter. Hot donuts aren't available though.
Great place to visit in the summer and fall. Love picking apples here.
Awesome place for creating memories! Family friendly fun for everyone. The apple cider, apples and donuts are amazing
I have come to Stuckey Farms for at least 35 years! The staff is always courteous, helpful and available for any questions or directions! I think the price for these apples is fair and just, given their products! Of course, I always do the apple icy every time I m there! Blessings
We had a good time, although we were too late in the season to find many apples. It was a beautiful day for walking around though.
