Very nice dining room with great service and excellent food.

Homemade spaghetti sauce over the lasagna, perfectly toasted garlic bread, rack of ribs falling off the bone, service was great, warm welcoming atmosphere, prices are affordable. If you appreciate being impressed by a restaurant, then this is place to go.

Always like coming here when we're in the area. Been for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Decent prices.

My daughter and I went to Wickachee here in Calais Maine. I Had a wonderful meal (fried clams plate) it was cooked very well ! Everything from the food to the host was perfect. So if you re ever in the neighborhood definitely put this on your list of places to eat at. You won t regret it

Super friendly atmosphere. Incredible staff and food. Love the location and everything about this fine restaurant. I went one time and will be stopping here for a bit to eat for as long as I'm breathing and the food continues to be as great as it is. The waitress that waited on my friend and I was absolutely perfect. Nice, polite and respectful. Was back in minutes with drinks and after being served with our meal, many times to see how everything was. Loved it. Thanks Troy

This is a great place to eat with very friendly staff. I would highly recommend it. :-). Also they helped us out big time when my pops was sick at the hotel next door. They normally don't do take out but made an exception for us and even provided silverware which I promptly returned after we ate. They went above and beyond and I appreciate that! :-)

Service was terrible. I had more onions than homefries. If Rachel is your server, request another server. She was eating in the dining room and then delivering food as she was chewing. I was very grossed out.

Delicious home-cooked food, fast service, clean atmosphere.

We had a great meal and Rich gave us great friendly service. We will go there again next time we are in Calais.

Great home cooked food! The orange honey glazed chicken is a must have! Always a pleasant experience. I stop in a few times a year when I'm in town. Rick always recognizes me and greets me with a warm smile!

Outstanding food and service. The appetizer sampler alone was like a meal for two and all 4 items: chicken wings, breaded mushrooms, potatoe wedges, and mozzarella sticks were fabulous and the home made marinara sauce crazy good. The salads were so fresh and the French and thousand island dressings made with love and care. My BBQ rib special and French fries with cole slaw were spot on and my wife's lasagna with spaghetti were bueno! Add home made garlic bread and wow - what a meal. Bonus comment: The prime rib I saw going over to another table was holy moly perfect looking. If you need a fine dining quality experience from food to service - disguised as a diner - this is your local fun and friendly place. I can't wait to get back and explore the huge menu!

Good quality comfort food! The food is good and GREAT service. Our large group was seated quickly and food came out fast. The atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired, but its clean, warm, and well maintained.

The fish chowder is absolutely unmatched! Service is always excellent, and the generous portions are consistently delicious. I would pay bug $$ for that chowder recipe!! :)

Likef the food and service but paying $27 for basic breakfast for 2 is ridiculous.

Excellent food and portions sizes are amazing. If you leave here hungry then it is because you did not eat. Dick and his son Rick are amazing ppl whom you would never know have a bad day in their life. Their attitudes are always friendly and welcoming. The staff are friendly and easy to speak with. Highly recommended this place.

Excellent food! Great service! Clean restaurant. We have eaten here twice since moving to the area and it will be our go to restaurant. The coleslaw is the best IMO.

scallops were fresh and great. the roast beef sandwich was nothing spectacular. the server was polite, though he never acknowledged me but made sure my girlfriend was acknowledged. the only drawback is the language we could hear coming from the kitchen. apparently, they must have thought the restaurant was empty.

Best food in Calais. Excellent service and a great atmosphere!

This restaurant is the BEST FOOD EVER!!! And that's saying a lot, as my Mum was the best cook, and I cooked professionally when I was young.
Their servings are big, and everything is home made, including the complimentary rolls and butter.
The service is top notch, and the waitresses/waiters are wonderful and a pleasure to meet.
Down home type of hospitality.

Always love it here, a real family down home restaurant, all food made in house, amazing taste, great serving size, a hidden gem for sure. Always have a few dishes on special. Have a great exchange rate on Canadian money. I believe they are licensed to sell beer and wine as well. You won't be disappointed at all.

The Wickachee dining room is a great place to eat. With the friendly staff, excellent service and great food. In my opinion the number 1 spot to eat in the he Calais area..

First trip from Florida to Maine and so glad we stayed at International Inn and had dinner and breakfast at Wickachee Dining Room. Rick is a wonderful host and we were delighted with stories from his dad!!!

The waffle fries were the best I ve ever had!!! This is by far the greatest restaurant I ve ever visited. Everyone was very nice and polite, it was the best food I ve ever eaten, very clean restaurant. I definitely wouldn t ever visit here again. If you want to have a good family dinner, do NOT go to this joke of a restaurant.

Specials were many and priced reasonable and were big portions..had fried clam dinner with hot mashed potatoe, Cole slaw and warm rolls & coffee. Dining room was bright with windows all around, nice framed pictures were hung on all walls.

Rick is a top notch manager and offers great customer service. The specials board is excellent. They feature an extensive menu, spanning breakfast, soup and sandwich fare, and home-style comfort food favorites like pot roast, slow cooked ribs, spaghetti and more. A great Sunday lunch spot.

Very tasty. Had tuna melt and their hand cut onion rings. Plenty of open seating, very clean. Seems to be popular place to eat.

Food was delicious. Service was awesome And my long Island was top notch!
