Delicious freestone peaches. Ripe red tomatoes. Local honey. And there are goat milk soaps and amazing raspberry salsa. I bought a wonderful Lodge seven well cast iron muffin pan. All this on a hot sunny summer day with a glorious breeze coming through the open front door to cool customers as we shopped and friendly staff as they helped us. I spent about an hour exploring the store with its produce and ready-to-bake pies and baking mixes, its charming country and farm-themed gifts, plus the salsas and sauces and syrups, and aprons and cook books. This was my first visit to the Hamilton Boone County Line store. I had discovered them that morning at the Noblesville Saturday Farmers' Market. Friendly staff at their booth invited me to continue shopping at the store. It wasn't a very long trip from the Farmers Market to the Country Store. This is Indiana at its very best!
