Got my Evo fixed quick! Nice office and employees as well. Better than these little Abc wireless places that use bogus parts

We're a cell phone store who has purchased multiple phones from Revamp, in the last month and a half itself we have purchased 12 phones from them, 4 of which have shown major internal issues so far; these include a recent Iphone 6+ with touch ic issues and a Samsung note 5 that restarts every 10 minutes.

It seems that the devices being sold by Revamp are phones with board level issues with bandaid fixes in order to get them up and running temporarily. If you are in the business of selling phones I do not recommend purchasing devices from Revamp. Not only will you lose out on any type of support from revamp if you sell the device after 30 days, you will lose the trust of your customers.

Excellent customer service! I've purchased several displays, digitizers, and batteries and they have top quality parts. Downside is, not everything that they have in their warehouse inventory shows on the website. I came in person to pick up parts and asked if they happened to have a pixel 2 battery. They do on the shelves, but not in their online catalogue. It's been 5 weeks ever since and it hasn't been updated. -1.5 (if I could) for the catalogue. Will update to 5 stars with changes.

Edit: They do offer returns (they did for me at least). Even more weeks have passed and still no site inventory updates. I don't mean to nitpick, I just like the company and want them to continue to improve and expand

Customer service is not at all a priority for this company. When a call is placed to them they do not have the answers to simple questions such as "has my item shipped yet?". I choose to go with this company because i was promised a fast turn around time and it ended up being over a month. Then when i received my iPad 3 the repairs were not done correctly. When i placed a call to them about a warranty repair due to the poor quality parts and unskilled labor used to them them, they simply laughed and stated that no warranty of workmanship was implied. I have several other apple products and will not be using Revamp Electronics ever again.

Took my iphone 4s in with shattered screen, no appointment and they had it done when I got off work a few hour later. Works perfectly. All my notes photos videos games apps everything just as I left it. Friendly people and it was the cheapest I saw this service offered anywhere. This is the place to get your smartphone fixed. -Ben

the worst customer service ever rude and they hang up the phone

Like every other LCD buyback company these guys will do nothing but rip you off for your screens then offer you a measly store credit for their overpriced parts, devices and accessories all while you pay for the shipping if you are outside of the US...Never again!!

These guys are great. I cracked my iPad 2 screen and took it to their store in Chicago. The staff was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. They replaced the glass digitizer on my iPad in 45 minutes and I was out the door. They even gave me a free screen protector! Thanks Revamp!

Their order status page showed they received my ipad mini 6/30/13. The status page has not changed since. Repeated attempts using online chat/email has been useless. They have give me a number of excuses and finally found someone who said it was shipped back in the middle of July. They said USPS lost it and will replace it. Further excuses than came as got shipment in but they were for Verison (my unit was WiFii only) so I did not care, just send me one. They responded with the units were 16Gb but my unit was 64Gb. They could give me a $150 credit if I would take the 16Gb unit. I said no, ship me a 64Gb unit. The expected 64Gb units in the next 2-3 days. Said I would wait for the 64Gb unit. This will be one business that will never see me again or anyone who asks me for a recommendation.
Update 10/3/13. A replacement ipad mini has been provided and I consider this case closed. Cannot respond to the actual repair as I received a different unit. My one star has been revised to a 3 star.

professional, experienced, and fast. these guys know what they are doing and they understand that you simply don't have the time to wait weeks for the apple guys to send your phone out to get fixed. i dropped my iphone on the pavement during a move and i spoke to the guys at revamp electronics. within an hour, i dropped my phone off at their west loop location and anant replaced both screens in minutes. very happy. would recommend to anyone who needs experienced and precise smartphone repairs fast!

Excellent customer service and a great repair job. I received updates from when they received my device to when they were finished with it. I would highly recommend this company to anyone and will be using them in the future, if needed.

I am honestly very impressed with this company. This is the first time have even heard of them and was only looking to purchase screws for a iPad 6 that I have. Upon finding the product and ordering it without proper shipping method selected. Not even 2 business hours later they reached out to me and told me that I needed to fix the order for it to be shipped and helped walk me through the steps to get it done. This is one of the best customer experiences I have ever had. Thanks again Raven! (The only thing that would have made this better is free shipping :P)

i have been buying from these people and never had issues with them until a defective screen was issued to me i tried to return it and it was a pain in the... never been trough this before with a supplier i own a store and i am a certified tech but it looks like they dont like it when you have to return a defective product

This place used to be my favorite vendor for years with most of the time excellent customer support. They sell different grades of parts, some touted as their best close to oem grade and others as "aftermarket"

I purchased a mix of these often having issues with aftermarket parts which they took care of by replacing. I purchased a macbook display which was defective out of the box. They do not test them at their warehouse. So when I took it back to their warehouse I was told it wasn't theirs due to lack of Mark of authenticity underneath the bezel. Since they don't check or test for this at the warehouse in the first place this wouldn't have happened and he refused to refund me until I became more persistent in which case they issued me store credit. later they end up deactivating my account due to rma's on four quality Parts that they shouldn't be selling in the first place and I lost the store credit I had with them.

The prices are good when the parts are working but when you begin to have effective screens come in then they will have a problem with you returning them so I suggest that you look preferably for a vendor with better support and quality control.

I keep saying that I will never use them again but seem to fall back into my bad habits. This time they (fed ex no less) delivered my time sensitive order to the wrong address. That's not very helpful

Extremely professional service. I am happy that they only use "Original Parts" the replacement looks and feels like my original screen. Confident that the repair was done by pros.

I was a bit skeptical to do a mail order iPad repair but it was fantastic. I sent it in and they kept me updated with the status and when I called they were able to tell me when it would be shipping out. All the work was completed without flaw and my iPad was returned in packaging safer than I sent it out in and I packaged the crap out of it. Absolutely will refer and reuse this company.

I was visiting from New York and doing some work at The Aviary around the corner from ReVamp. I found out that it was so close and decided to get my iPhone4 front and back screen repaired during my 30 min lunch break. The guy was very accommodating even though he was in the office alone and there were a lot of shipments arriving from UPS and USPS. Somehow he was able to handle me, the packages and repair my phone all in 25 minutes. We ended up having a really engaging conversation, which was also surprising considering how busy he was. It was actually an enjoyable experience, and I don't think I've ever described service repair in those words before.
They told me they were shifting away from onsite repairs and moving into supplying other repair houses, or something like that. Hopefully, they will continue with the onsite repairs, because my experience was spectacular!

I've been dealing with revamp as my parts supplier for over 2 years now. They have some of the best quality products for a great price with excellent after sale service to boot.

I own a repair store and order Samsung and iPhone parts at least once every 2 days. This company sends oem Samsung and oem quality iPhone screens. Never have issues with the screens, but I am positive revamp would exchange or refund money no issues.. great job guys and thank you for quality!

It was Friday and I was on the way into the office when I dropped my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and cracked the screen. The plan was to use the Tablet during a forthcoming Cruise ... Ouch! On Saturday morning I went online and found iReVamp. Just what I needed. I used there site to describe the problem and purchase their screen repair service. Two hours later, at 11:15 on Saturday, I dropped the tablet off at UPS using the mailing label provided by iReVamp via email. On Monday I received an email from iReVamp with a 2:15PM time stamp that they had received my Tablet. At 4:35PM I received another email from iReVamp that my Tablet had bee repaired and sent via USPS priority mail back to me!!! WHAT? is this even possible? On Wednesday, at 11:15AM I received my Tablet back in perfect condition. In a word amazing!!! Cruising with our tablet - here we come. iReVamp saved the day. What did it cost? $144.00 with shipping. Sign me "Happy ReVamp customer" Highly recommended.

These guys are the top notch player of iPhone repair. I was told by Apple and At&T that my phone had Quote water damage Apple told me it was unrepairable try putting in a bowl of rice to dry it out which I did for two days. When I took it back a different story was some of the contacts for charging were bent and unrepairable. This led me to ReVamp who told me there was a part that was needed, ordered it and the rest is history. Great customer service and was kept informed along the way. A huge Thank you we need more people like this in our society.

FOUND THE GEM OF ELECTRONICS REPAIR IN CHICAGO! I brought my phone in because of some water damage that was affecting my speaker and the very helpful owner, Anant was able to fix my phone and replace the screen quickly, it looked brand new and I was on my way in no time at all. I highly recommend this place for all your electronic needs. I know I will be returning with all my electronics and recommending it to everyone I know!

I've had my iphone 4 glass replaced twice now by Revamp Electronics. Considering I am on the road for most of my job, having access to my smartphone is essential. My concerns with having the glass repaired were: 1) the phone looks and works as new 2) cost of repair, and 3) fast turnaround time, if I need to ship in the phone. All of these requirements were met. During the second repair, I happened to be in Chicago for work. I dropped by in the AM and I had a repaired phone later that afternoon. I hope I don't make it a habit of breaking my phone. But if it is inevitable, at least I've found a place I can trust.

Describe your experience at ReVamp Electronics...how about excellent. I dropped my iPhone last week and it began mysteriously shutting off. Then just in time for Memorial Day weekend it completely died. I read up on the issue based on the symptoms of my phone. It didn't look so good. Since I had to wait until Tuesday for ReVamp to check it out I sorta gave up hope of salvaging it and began shopping for a new phone. I'm really glad I waited and brought it in because they were able to get it working right away. I waited less than 10 minutes and since it was just a diagnostic fix they did not charge me. I insisted on paying something and all he asked me to do is write a good review. Well Syed, here you are. Thank you very much!

My experience with ReVamp Electronics was exceptional. My cracked screen was terrible and small pieces of glass cutting my fingers. I took my phone into ReVamp Electronics and within minutes my phone appears as if it was brand new. I love these guys, they are quick, effective and pleasurable.

I never expected it back so soon! And it looks and works beautifully! I loved being able to track the service and the return shipment, it really puts your mind at ease. With such an expensive item, mailing it away can be a little worrisome, but, I know I won't worry the next time I need you guys! Awesome place to get your phone repaired!! I was in & out of their office w/in 5 minutes for dropping off my Samsung Skyrocket phone & picking it up 2 days later - they fixed my charging port which was damaged from heavy use over the past 2 years...really good price & very friendly! Nice place, very professional compared to some other places I have taken in other phones for repair in the past, which speaks volumes to me. Location & area is very nice and walkable too for the city, in the West loop - right off the Pink / Green line stop at Morgan - Will definitely go back for any electronic repair I may need!

I wish I had read the reviews on this company first. Their customer service is a joke, their warranty is BS & they flat out don't keep the standard other companies have set in this industry. Buyer beware for sure.
