It felt like the solicitor didn't really have the time to deal with my case. I had to chase which resulted in my early termination of the case. Very knowledgeable lady. In the end she has done what I asked her for but unfortunately it felt like she had a bigger fish to fry.

Deborah Brown did the conveyancing on a flat purchase and gave us an absolutely exemplary service. I cannot praise her highly enough.
Her thorough professionalism, attention to detail and sheer tenacity got through a particularly complex transaction, keeping us appropriately informed at all times. Worth her weight in gold.

Very friendly to begin with.
But once you get started become incredibly unresponsive.
Do not answer phone calls direct or through the main office. Emails are responded usually with a 2 week delay.
But documents are highly detailed when information is eventually passed on.
Doesn't take much to pick up the phone or send a quick email to control client expectations rather than leaving them in the dark even when they are trying to reach you. Very poor practice.

I was their client twice, first time when I was buying a property and second time 6 years later when selling it, first time everything went ok, but sale was simple exchange... Second time I was buying a leasehold property with somewhat complicated contract, which required some alteration of contract and negotiation with layers from leaseholder, it took L around two weeks to send a message and after two months on going nowhere, I took it into my hands and managed to get in touch with owner in a day and did what she couldn't in two months... Maybe if you have a very basic sale then you could go here, but keep in mind their response time will be ~2days, I would highly advise against using them...

I was luckily enough to have Debbie Brown from Brain Chase Coles dealing with the conveyancing on both sale and onward purchase of a recent house move. Despite a few bumps in the road from various points in the chain Debbie made sure everything went through smoothly. She was readily available by phone or email and was a pleasure to deal with. The service has been excellent, prompt replies to communications and a genuine feeling that Debbie, who managed our dealings, and her secretary Helen, cared about our business. They were both very personable and we had the pleasure of meeting them when dropping off paperwork.

Our purchase was difficult and Debbie was great at sorting out the mess and explaining what was happening. We feel that Brain Chase Coles exceeded our expectations in both quality of service and customer care.

I instructed Debbie for the conveyancing of my first property, for what should have (in theory) been one of the more straightforward & simple property purchases. It turned out the be not much short of an impossible task thanks to an unbelievable level of incompetence from the vendors solicitor. As the seller's solicitor time and again took days to respond to emails, went on holiday without notifying anyone and consistently missed deadlines for completion imposed further up the chain, without Debbie's patience, determination, persistence and unparalleled levels of professionalism I am under no illusions that the purchase would have fallen through completely.

It turned into a bit of a nightmare scenario and ultimately, Debbie almost singlehandedly managed to push it over the line in time for Christmas.
