I love the library!!! I'm there at least once a week and any time I've needed help finding something, there's always been a friendly staff member ready to assist. I wish the library would open earlier on Sunday.

This is a wonderful library - wide collection, on-site second hand book store, plenty of free parking. Lots of computers and many private study areas. Librarians are very professional and helpful.

One of the best, most friendly libraries I've ever been to.
I have encountered unbelievably rude management here. I'm convinced they (management) are sorely lacking in social skills and politeness. My advice is to stick to Shaler - they are much friendlier. Who lets their managers treat the public like that? I felt like a criminal.
Wide selection of materials. Very comfortable sectional seating. The Book Nook has great deals on used books, audio, video, puzzles and more.
I have visited this library many times and cannot say enough about the staff that help me. Questions are answered to my satisfaction, checking out is persoal and friendly. Had one issue and manager made things right. I highly recommend this library.
Great library and location, but haven't had the friendliest interactions with front desk staff. They always seem annoyed on the few occasions I've inquired about books, etc, but this won't keep me from utilizing the facility.

Awful treatment from library staff manager. Her staff asked me not to bring them into an inquiry with her as they are afraid of her. I just had an inquiry and was berated.
Even during a pandemic, you're able to get books and use computers. Obviously, use precaution as we all should (wipe off keyboard, hand sanitizer before touching books, etc,). Nothing can keep this library down!

I have been more than impressed with the kind and quick service of this library. With the interlibrary loan system being on hold during the pandemic, we have resorted to driving to individual libraries to satisfy our children's voracious reading appetites. THANKS SO MUCH, NORTHLAND PUBLIC LIBRARY!!
