General Star Management Co. is an average company. I had a moderate experience with their services. The customer support was responsive but could have been more helpful. Overall, it was an okay experience.

Run as far as you can . Won't take calls agent is arrogant, took over a year and a half to settle 12 overhead doors, a roof , electrical, and a paint booth. Even a child can count to 4 items . Left me hanging owing contractor $100,000.00 for 2 months . And I still don't have a paint booth.

When you need them they are not there. Email communications, including that to/from my agent, went unanswered for five days. When they estimated the reimbursement for an actual loss their response was much lower than State Farm and the process slow and unclear.
Avoid them!

worst experience ever. they are very hard to deal with. Their agents are no good. they will tell you after one month that after your claim that your this part of house is not covered because of this and that and try to get away from the claim. WORST COMPANY EVER HAD IN MY LIFE

Terrible, absolutely horrible. Would not properly indemnify the claim. The adjuster didn't photos and made my contractor do all the work and then shorted me tens of thousands of dollars. Eventually stopped answering my calls and made we talk to their attorneys and take low settlement. Not a good insurer.
