I've been a customer of Microcenter for at least 20 years. I rebuild my computer every 2-4 years depending on the technology available. Their selection is excellent, their prices competitive, and they service unmatched. A very generous 30 day return policy on most things. It'll be a sad day when I move to a place without Microcenter nearby.

I went to browse parts for a new build, and found prices lower than Newegg or Amazon... I ended up buying all the parts there, for a total savings of $100 or so, even after including a couple of replacement plans I opted to get. That, and I got expert advice along the way (plus the option of a free 32GB USB or microSD)

Competitive prices knowledgeable staff, computers tv's laptops and all the accessories needed to hook up entertain systems too.
On 1/23/20 purchased wired router couldn't update firmware, returned same evening accidentally put my laptop charger in box to return. Went back next day to try to get charger, the woman at returns desk was very pleasant, very very helpful also, explained my mistake, she then got numerous employees to help me locate the router I returned and found my laptop charger inside. The staff at Microcenter Cambridge are all extremely helpful knowledgeable and efficient and very good at what they do, hope they get a good raise this year. Thank You to all the staff at Microcenter Cambridge again!!!

Incredible selection and prices are generally as low as you'll find even beating out Amazon on many devices. Most recent trip was to get a new rig and Aredo aka 'Red' was extremely helpful, gave me a straight answer on what was unnecessary bells and whistles and what would actually increase performance. Though I was already set on a particular monitor he still made sure to show me side by side the other models in that price range so I knew I was making the right decision. Even kept an eye out for a specific video card that was out of stock and emailed me when they came in. Great experience, wouldn't go anywhere else.

A computer builder/ electronics junkie's dream. They have every computer part you could dream of and more. The staff is helpful and friendly. Their prices are decent, they have pretty good sales on occasion and they even price match for you if you ask a manager to do so. I really recommend this place if you are looking for computer parts, or any type of accessories for your home or office. They are also actively combatting the current GPU shortage with reasonable prices. PCMR

The manager tonight refused to price match a home version of office365 that was sold on Amazon. When I asked him if he could show me where the price match policy was in the store he just looked at me told me that office 365 is the only software item he cannot manually override. I was never shown an actual posted policy in the store. I asked again where it was posted and he said he could not override it again.

Growing up, I dreamed of living near a Micro Center. Now that I do, I suppose the reality of the situation is not quite as magical as I once imagined it would be. Still, it's a great resource to have. Possibly the best thing about Micro Center is that their return policy takes the worry out of trying something out. Be it a new graphics card or a fancy router, you can buy it, try it, and if it don't work, return it. I rarely end up returning my purchases, but I know they will accept them, no questions asked.

Found out about this neat place for computer enthusiasts such as I. Even though I live in the middle of nowhere in a small town none of you knew existed up in NH, I took on the hour and a half trip to go to what must be the only store you will find all the parts you need for a computer and more.

First off I walked into this store expecting one of those tiny computer stores you are always used too, but this place is huge and jam packed with awesome gear. Right at the entrence found the i7 4790k I was looking for and an employee who gladly said he would assist me in getting it out of the display.....this is where the fun ended.

The gentleman assured me he would get one for me but that I had to go over and wait in the line for returns and exchanges to claim it. Why he couldn't just bring it to the cashier is beyond me, the line for returns was a 30 minute wait. The stuff that comes out of peoples mouths in this store (I blame the city) when they think bored people can't here them is creepy. Anyways after 30 minutes I was finally ready to pick up my CPU.

The lady that helped me seemed like she was in a bad mood so I asked how her day was genuinely hoping I could cheer her up, she wasn't having any of it, in fact she didn't even answer me she just said "what are you here for?" I told her some helpful good sir left me an i7 4790k back there. She then asked me "who helped you?" I told her "I had no idea" I had only talked to the guy for 2 seconds I didn't catch his name. She sighed anoyed and stared at me, then after a few awkward second asked if it was Andrew? I said sure (I still didn't know) she went in the back and recovered my long awaited i7 and while she was ringing me out I told her it was my first time here so mind giving me the scoop on your return policy? I guess I crashed the whole world down on this lady for asking because her attitude somehow got worse. Just for your knowledge according to her the box and all content need to be returned in the exact place and condition you found it in. I'm not giving her name because unlike this women I care. I don't want to get someone fired.

Anyways I have to return this i7 so I can't wait to go back and ruin this woman's day again. I am actually nice and wouldn't mind someone saying hi with a smile next time, it really does make a difference. But during the 30 minute line wait I talked to this cute nerdy girl returning a motherboard. Got her number so 4 out 5 stars. Too bad she lives in Cambridge, that is far.

Oh my god, this store is a dream come true for computer geeks. I love going here and this is where I got the parts to build my first PC. The staff were Incredibly nice and helpful. A lot of selection. But a tad pricey on somethings though. But it is to be expected due to computer parts.

If you are not a usual tech nerd you may not know about Microcenter. Well, let tell you. This is a great place to finds deals which are often better/equal to online deals. They often price match too. Their online store has accurate inventory data and you can even reserve items ahead of time if they are limited. So if you live near a Microcenter you are much better off shopping here rather than somewhere else. The rest of us will thank you for keeping this place in business.

This place has a pretty large inventory and I enjoyed shopping here but the staff including the manager are pretty rude and unhelpful. A few tried but were easily annoyed and unable to help. I got some of what I went to buy and they did make that part quick. Would probably just shop on Amazon next time.

I am going to loose my mind

I noticed on the under side my two long screws that are supposed to sit under the vent were not in my machine

Okay weird.

So I popped it off... which took more effort than it should have and what do you know. The amount of damage on the internals of my computer was through the roof.
So that being said... if you are a woman DO NOT GO TO MICRO CENTER. They took me for some bimbo and created more problems thinking I wouldn't notice.

I shouldn't open my computer to find a dent in my WLan Card, Dents on the inside housing, dents and what almost looks like a pen marks that could have ripped the housing of my battery causing even more problems had it ripped while in their care. Inside support screws MISSING, and a broken tab they taped back on hoping I wouldn't notice.

The only reason I went to them was because I didn't have time to fix the computer myself while I was moving. Goes to show I'll keep to fixing my own computer because I'm not going to charge myself to further break my computer then refuse to fix the extra problems caused unless I charge myself an absurd amount of money.

Never come here for repairs they jerk you around on your prices and don't inform you of diagnostic fees so you get slammed with $40+ in fees on top of your quote. I went in for a physical error and they ran software diagnostics I knew I didn't need and didn't even ask me if I wanted that done or not. They just did it without asking. Unlike some I can pin point the issues wrong with my computer I don't need some guy telling me I'm wrong then looking into it and telling me the exact thing I said. I'm paying you to fix What I tell you to fix, not what you think or want to fix. Shove off.

This place was my favorites for over than 10 years until i got in a bad situation today with Manager Dwight James, this guy needs to go on management training and learn how to talk to customers, i bought a tv with 3 years protection i stopped by to ask if that cover my cracked lcd, he was mentioning that i have been told by the sales person that my warranty doesn t cover screen which i never been told before. Instead of explaining the warranty types he was quickly running away. Really bad before you buy something all staff come to help and when you have a issue there is no one wanna talk to you. Such a CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A BIG JOKE.

Very disappointed with my last visit. I went to spend about $250 and left not making a purchase. They did not have the pc I found listed on the website; could not find the software I was looking for; the aisles were never recovered so after spending 15 minutes trying to locate the mouse on sale I found out it was not the right one at the register so did not purchase.
I like that Microcenter is in business and as a private company with competitive prices but clean up your operations and sales floor.

This place has everything computer related including certified refurbished PC's. I purchased a Dell refurbished desktop. Microcenter sells many refurbished PC's at every price level.
Extremely knowledgeable employees.
I wouldn't go anywhere else. This place is worth the trip.

The worst service centre ever !
I generally never leave bad reviews, but this place is probably the only place I feel the need to review and share my experience

Please don t get ur Mac here
The technician who took my laptop just said
There is water damage and did not even take a look at the laptop

The laptop is fine and and there was no water damage , he just did not want to look into the issue , I told him no liquid was spilled and the computer turned off on it s own , instead of investigating the issue he just updated the case as water damage and gave me a slip

It was absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional way of handling a customer and not listening to the issue and jumping to conclusions

The store was good and the people in the store are nice but I cannot say that about the service center

Extremely disappointed

This is my store of choice for technology purchases. I find prices to be very reasonable. I have also brought my computes here for repairs. While I shop there for almost all of my tech purchases, I gave it three stars for two reasons: they have a supposed 18-minute online order system where you can order items online and they will supposedly pick them for you and notify you within 18 minutes of ordering that your order is ready. I've tried this several times and I have yet to experience an 18 minute call back. I have waited hours for the call back, and when I complained, I got no response and there was no fix to the problem. The other reason is because of the parking. There is off-street parking available, but it is shared with a Trader Joe's a Starbucks, and another retailer. it can be hard to find a space, and access back on to the highway is dangerous.
