And everybody I send to you for accounts says the same thing, and nobody has ever left once they sign up with you.
I know that every service that asks less price can be a very doubtful one let alone being the cheapest is the most doubtful one. However, even though it asks a cheaper price, it can give you great service with 24-hour uptime and fast customer support. Some few glitches and bugs will always be there but above all, its a great deal to be dealt when you are trying to start your own website.

So far, very much satisfied with the performance of Hostwinds provider's servers, features & technical support! I'm really happy with their support, they reply to support queries very instantly. Pricing is also, good enough. I also like that you can host unlimited sites from the one account. I need to have a lot of streaming multimedia, and it's no problem with them! Lots of users logging in, lots of e-mail accounts. It's great!
Not a great experience. I went to them because of all the great reviews. Big mistake. The first issue was that I had been running with one domain, but wanted to add another, which my plan allows. I wasn't sure how to do that and called support. The agent thought about it for a while, and said, "uh, yeah, I'm pretty sure I know how to do that. Let me put you on hold while I think about what to do". So, I hung up and called a supervisor. Who resolved it in 10 seconds. That seemed like a very basic support question. "How do I add a second domain to my account". And not knowing is okay. But for a support rep to tell a client "um, I think I can do that" is unbelievable. All faith in their company's support went in that one minute. And now, as I'm starting to use the service, I find that I get all outbound emails coming from my domain saying they are from an unsecured source. I sent in a ticket. I got a reply that said basically that was a fact of their spam server, and if I wanted to fix it I either had to pay them 50 cents a month maintenance fee to be white-listed or upgrade my account. That fee is because it is "so much work for them to maintain it" So I called billing to cancel my account. I got a voice mail that said billing doesn't take phone calls, and I should put in a ticket. I put in a ticket to cancel my service, and got a reply back quickly that said, "sorry! We'll white-list you for free! Don't go". I'm still going. They are very nice. And I'm sure a lot of people have great experience. However, I have decided not to trust my business and livelihood to their system.
I have been using Hostwinds since April 2016. So far they remein really good for me. Fast, No downtime. Good price. Support sometimes not that fast as I expect. But I think that is acceptable.

The worst experience with a company I have ever had. I should have known when they messed up the transfer from my old host and lost all of my old emails, despite being told everything had transferred successfully. In the last month of hosting with them my sites were going down everyday without fail. The response time to tickets was between 12 - 24 hours, and when you finally got a response it was short and offered no explanation for the downtime. If you're looking for hosting I urge you to look elsewhere, it is not worth the hassle.

Bought a Windows VPS, good clean service, fast set up time. I WILL buy from these guys again. There support was great as well. The ability to pick and choose optional extras was very use full because I needed a faster transfer speed and more ram and it allowed me too with out me spending lots.When I got my server it never lagged, and was always on top form. Would have given it 5 stars but I could not choose the location (E.U US West/East coast) but that can be over looked.

The support staff is exemplary. I ran into several issues trying to get my WordPress website put together, and the support crew was polite, expedient, and resolved the difficulties I was experiencing.
ZERO STARS. Awful. Just awful. Supposedly migrated our site to VPS, then lost it and couldn't find a backup! Gave non registered nameserver addresses. The IP address we were given didn't work. Our site was down for 36 hours and counting and their response: "When did you start having this issue?" Are you kidding me. Took them 10 days and several support tickets just to get an SSL installed. Must be a bunch of college kids. Save yourself the headache.
Price to service to ease-of-use to features its just a great deal. I have been using Hostwinds for about 5 months and they have been great. One time we had a problem and the customer support was bad, but we have had at least 3 other times where they have been helpful and spend significant time on Skype to assist us. You will be pleased dealing with them, dudes!

Horrible hosting company. Please stay away from them. Our website has gone down multiple time now and support has been pathetic. Even their support number is now giving out message that "number is disconnected". This company is on its way down I think. We are moving our account from them immediately.
