Everything is great! The support-guys are very cool and fast! I have been hosted with many other companies but Hostwinds is the best! They offer free domain - it's great. They were extremely patient as I cluelessly asked for various ports to be opened to allow extra functionality on one of my sites.
Uptime is (nearly) 100%. You know, I've encountered a few small hick-ups in the last 9 months but in fact I haven't encountered any problems during the last 5 months.

Go with Hostwinds. Great service. Been in the design business for 11 years and have moved many times. I can say that their hosting and also managed services are professional. Uptime has been good. I've been using their services for not so long and must say that everything works fine.

I was having difficulties sorting out my email set up on outlook and sent an email to the support email address, not expecting any reply as it was a Sunday. To my complete surprise not only did I get an acknowledgement, but 10 minutes later an email from Hostwinds tech guys with instructions to start the TeamViewer section so that he could help me. Needless to say, the service she provided was excellent, and whilst only communicating via the chat option, he was very professional and helpful in all my dealings.

The hosting is cheap and the packages are amazing - if you need web hosting you cannot go wrong with Hostwinds. I've been here over 4 months, have recommended two friends to join and have absolutely zero quarms with the outstanding service!

Hostwinds service is incredible. I haven't had many VPS accounts but I just can't see how any hosting provider can be any better. I get responses and solutions quicker than I expect. Their servers are really fast.

I signed up for an account with Hostwinds only to find them cheaper and because I did not want to keep all eggs in one basket. The other hosting company having my sites was changing terms of payment every now and than.

Support is really fast. I worked with mr. Sean who helped me to restore my Wordpress after my updating the web application. My advise never update your web application like Wordpress yourself, better to have good support team by hand to handle this.
At Hostwinds I tried to to it myself and failed and managed to overcome that only with help of support representative.

I think that everyone at hostwinds is doing a great job. Being a Web designer, it is important that I get my space in a timely manner. With my latest site, I had all of my information within 20 minutes. Great job!

Good host. It is a common thing that most hosting companies do not have knowledge skills on what customers do with their account, BUT NOT WITH Hostwinds.Their network and server uptime are perfect as my site is always online.

There seems to be virtually no down-time, and their servers are extremely fast. The mail system works great, and their MySQL servers work better than any we have tried to date. Absolutely one of the greatest web hosts that I have ever deal with. Hostwinds will be good choice! I recommend them.

I don't know what I dislike from Hostwinds services. Everything is cool, working like a clock and performing lightning-fast. Support guys are great and skilled. Whatever assistance needed - they respond in minutes. Websites hosted with them are much more stable and faster than with my other host and I will move to Hostwinds everything after the end of year period subscription.

So far Hostwinds shared hosting has been an exceptional host. They are fast, great customer service. I have no complaints. Every conversation was pleasant and helpful. The reliability of their network is amazing. They give you all the control you need. Instant reboots, ability to easily reformat your server with the most common operating systems.

I'm paying half of what I was paying at my other host! It places a high value on customer support and it shows. In fact, they have decreased costs for a number of features in the time I have been with them; my sense is that they work hard to stay competitive with other hosting services.

It is very easy to use it and add pages, photos, articles... You don't need to worry about losing data because they will be able to restore it through the server backups that they have. Hostwinds is also quick to resolve issues and patient when things are not easily understood.

My site loads faster compared to my other previous hosting provider. It's good to know they also provide some useful apps to quickly create a simple site.The price is fairly decent.

Very Good Support the techs really know their stuff. They have a very good & powerful VPS. Their fully managed VPS hosting costs $5.17 per month is worth every cent.

Very happy so far and my sites are loading much quicker and I am now in control of my server, no limitations and fully managed so if there is anything I would like to experiment with I know I have the help at hand, no more signing up to forums to get a bunch of nonsensical answers or scouring the internet, a simple email away and they will provide all the details I need.

I've gotten multiple spam emails from this company, sent to a list of emails obviously scraped. They didn't even bother to BCC, so now my email is exposed to numerous other which I'm sure will increase the amount of spam I receive. Definitely not a company I'll consider doing any sort of business with.

The Servers Here CRASHED during Black Friday Sale. I cant believe it. I just purchased 2 cloud servers and both are not working none functional or not properly working. I spent nearly $50 just to add 1 server and every one kept failing and failing and not loading. I ordered a Linux, and I ended up with microsoft. I ordered a 2 cloud servers, both are still Not running. Hostwinds waisted my time, effort, and most of all my family time. I had to get things done before Saturday Morning, and we are waiting for this to be solved since Friday Evening. Not Trustworthy, they dont offer credits, deals or anything to fix what they damaged to people. They think they wont by getting blackfriday special, but at the end a few days later everything crashed and we are noticing this. They kept putting in more and more tickets, tickets just gets stacked and stacked and no progress. I dont know what happen but 45 days ago they were amazing. After this friday then went to worst level of hosting.

Recently moved to Hostwinds after a nightmarish debacle with another hoster. Their support bars none the best, and their level of expertise is unbelievable. Basically, I created the account with a new domain. Setup was instant and their techs explained to me everything I needed. All I want to mention that I have no headache running my web sites with them, uptime has been great - the promise 99.9% uptime is correct. There is no way I would go anywhere else!

The service I get from Hostwinds is the best. They have cPanel, which is really easy for me to use. My site has never gone down. And when I need tech help they get back to me right away.

Their plans' capacity might not be amazingly huge, but it's reasonable and fair. I recommend this web host, at least I know that my website hosting is secured for years to come!

Purchased a VPS from Hostwinds. Setup was easy and did get immediate responses to my support tickets. However right as we were going to release to our client, the system our VPS resided on had a hardware fault. This shut down our VPS during a write to our MySQL database which corrupted it.
This was bad timing for our project, and we decided to go back to our original host provider.

They returned our money since we were still in our trial window with no hassle.

Pretty fast connection speed in my current location.

I've been pleased with their service! The transfer to my VPS met some complications but they solved it and I got a nice discount as a sorry from them.
