i purchased a new laptop from here today and it works good and im so glad i did i personally would recommend them to anyone the young man who helped me was ryan very helpful with everything from in store to me calling back and he helped with both thank you guys so much i will most definitely be back

Needed a fix in a short amount of time and they were able to get my laptop back to me in less than a day. Vincent was very professional and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

I needed a few things done over the course of the last year and every single thing from building a $900 gaming/streaming rig to having a screen replaced on a friends laptop went smoothly. I've even had to recommend a few of my friends here in order to help them find a cheap laptop or desktop. David isn't here to waste your time or his and so long as you go into the shop looking for service at a reasonable price, then you are going to leave satisfied.

Called for repair of Lenovo laptop. Brought it in on a Saturday. Received a call on Wednesday that I needed a new hard drive. Computer was ready for pick up on Thursday and the COST was AMAZING!!!

Went in with my dead laptop, they diagnosed it within 24 hours and didn t even charge me anything. The guy there was very knowledgeable and friendly! Highly recommend!

Unprofessional, they didn't label any of my parts to indicate i was the customer who owned them. They said my brand new PSU was "missing cables" and suggested that I either buy a new PSU or return the one i gave them. When I went there to pickup the PSU I was disgusted with the state that my computer was left in, there was other customers parts on top of my desktop that left scratches on my case. They didn't realize that I brought a bag full of cables with me (when I first brought it to them) thus making the whole ordeal take much longer than needed (the cable that they needed was in the bag). When I went to pickup my computer today they forgot to give me my cord back that connects from the outlet to the PSU, so we had to drive back form my house to get it (didn't even get the one i gave them back they just gave me a new cable they had in a bag). After setting up my PC when i got back home for the second time I found out that my wireless receiver for my mouse is missing. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to get it back from them, however I highly doubt it because they're very disorganized and unprofessional. I would not recommend anyone going to this repair shop, I'm very disappointment with the quality of service I got for a $100 diagnostic.

All the staff here is super helpful! Dropped my computer off to get checked out and I thought all my files were lost. Berto got back to me right away and told me they could fix it!! The shop repaired my broken laptop at a FRACTION of the price geek squad or the apple store wanted. while i was there i snagged a used ipod, also at a price that beat anything i had seen on craigslist. keep your eyes on this place for good deals, as his stock moves quickly.

The shop helped me upgrade to a new phone and plan I could afford, with some great advice. Also, I have referred several friends to the shop, for repairs, and for buy a computer. All were happy, and some went back or referred friends as well. I even risked recommending Hamilton to my landlord (!) when he needed to by a refurbished computer; not much of a risk-he was really happy with it.
I'll probably upgrade my computer in the next year or two, and when I am comparison shopping, I'll definitely check there first.

These guys were so helpful! I tried to go to Best Buy before this...but the folks there were rude and couldn't see me until the next day. I went to Hamilton Computer Repairs, and although they were busy, they saw me right away and fixed my computer in 30 min! I will absolutely never use the Geek Squad again, and instead come to Hamilton.

They determined the issue in an old computer and sold me a new (used) one at a fair market value with zero issues. Very nice tech.

Friendly and professional staff, if not the most inviting location

David sold me a great used Macbook in an extremely fair exchange. When the Macbook had a problem booting a couple days later, he didn't give me the runaround on the 30 day warranty. He told me that it came into the shop with that same problem, he replaced the HD and had it back to me within 24 hours, and he told me that if I had any other issues with it he would swap me for an exactly equivalent Macbook, no problem.

I highly highly recommend going to David before you to go to any Best buy, Walmart, Radio shack, or any other place with their rediculous prices for your computer needs. I just bought an Asus laptop with and i5 processor from him. He was so honest and helpful. He did not overcharge me or BS me. I got exactly what I wanted and needed at a VERY reasonable price. There was a problem with my webcam he worked diligently to fix the issue. He also let me know about all of his other services and I found that he was so reasonably priced and his knowledge made me feel very comfortable. I will definitely be going back to him for all my computer needs in the future. He is truly better than any other out there. SERIOUSLY do not go any where else before you give him a call.He is the best and works very quickly and does not try to cheat you. If you do not know about computers he doesn't make you feel stupid and he doesn't take advantage of that either ,he explains in a way that you can understand. Hamilton replaced a failing hard drive on my old iMac. The new SSD is much faster, and they were great to work with throughout responsive & very knowledgeable, with very fair prices. A good local repair option.

During the Covid I dropped a computer off 3 months ago . I went to pick it up 3 different times closed I called and they said ya come in but closed, I brought them a laptop to fix and the never put the windows key in so the computer crashed now they are telling me the junked my $400 1 TB 8gig computer I have threatened tact messengers and can t even wright the language they yes but at the end of the day they kept a computer that was mine. Never gave a receipt nor said nothing. Took cask to avoid the tax man and are steeling for family s that need the computer for school work. I would not recommend and one to go there as they are theirs.

I arrived less than an hour before closing, but was helped immediately. Though completely solving my particular issue was impossible (for anyone, especially in such a short time frame), I was given useful parts and excellent advice. Highly recommended.

This shop has helped me multiple times now, and lemme tell you that this is easily now my go-to place for repairs and diagnostics. The prices are very fair, the workers are as friendly as it gets, and the services they provide are quick and efficient! Definitely swing by if you need something patched up and looked at.

Dropped my Samsung laptop and broke the hard drive. Took it to Best Buy and was told it would cost $30 just to look inside the computer, $70 to have the HD looked at out of store, upwards of $250 to get everything fixed. No thanks.

David gave me a quick, honest assessment of the damages and replaced the HD within a day. On top of that he accepted an old Macbook that I no longer needed as payment. Can't recommend Hamilton Computer highly enough.

I recieved an MSI gaming laptop from David at Hamilton, and I couldn't be happier with it. It was in good condition, with a few minor keyboard scuffs which David was EXTREMELY thorough in pointing out to me prior to sale, but overall a genuine top-notch system for far less than what I would have paid elsewhere. Not to mention, I am out of state; David was traveling for other reasons, but was kind enough to meet with me all the way in Virginia on his travels at no additional charge.

It's been about six months now, and my laptop is still working appropriately with no problems whatsoever. He loaded me up with Windows and Office as well. I will definitely be purchasing from David and his team at Hamilton again. :)

I entertained having Best Buy's Geeksquad fix my computer and they told me it would cost close to $300, and take around 3 weeks. Hamilton Computers fixed my computer for $140 and had it done in 5 business days. Highly recommend Hamilton to any other broke, busy college kid.

My daughter who goes to Clark had a crisis with her MacBook crashing when she had a paper due and needed to get it fixed urgently. She needed to take it someplace near school but was worried about taking it someplace "sketchy." She took it to Hamilton Computer Repairs and they gave her immediate attention, fixed it on the spot, and took the time to call me and explain the issues and what they had done. The whole experience could not have been better.

I dropped off my Niece's laptop because needed "cleaning" because it was too slow. Picked up next day. Amazingly fast! Saved over $1,000 on a new one! The pricing was so cheap compared to buying a new one! Thanks, David. Will be bringing all my PC businesses to you. Always.

I bought a laptop from them & could not be any happier with the product.

Just got my 2nd laptop from them. I didn't catch the gentleman's name but after waiting a few minutes so he could help the customers before me he spent a good amount of time with me going over the specs on each of their available refurbished laptops. Wound up with a great computer at a great price.

Fixed my PC in a very short time and were always quick to answer all of my questions. Will definitely come back for any repairs in the future!

David, the owner is not very polite he is basically a person who relies on his technicians to do the work while he collects his paycheck. I would not recommend this place, it is way to relaxed and not serious at all, when I the customer would explain the issue and the methods I have they would listen to the issue but take no accounts to methods I have told them. Instead they waste their time, fiddling with parts they aren't suppose to. I went in 2 weeks ago and asked them to fix my computer which was a very simple problem to fix, I tested their technicians to see if they're worth while. They told me I had a issue with the power supply unit.
Not true in fact I already did the paper clip test and told one of the workers there the power supply is fine, for Christ-sakes the fan was spinning well, the simple solution was the motherboard to be replaced and they couldn't figure that out.
2-3 business days for repair service it took them 7 days, a whole week and still not fixed.
This place is not good enough, for serious issues only small issues, way to relaxed.
What people don't work on Monday and then four hours on Saturday, ridiculous ratings.
WE WILL NOT BE COMING BACK AGAIN.

Brought in my laptop about 2 and a half weeks ago to the Hamilton Street location. I can understand not being able to find a part for the laptop but every time I was quoted a time to be called by an employee I was never contacted; I had to call David after waiting an extended period of time. Now I was returned a laptop without even having the at least somewhat functional LCD cable in it. David, you were great but at the same time the service I was provided overall was very shotty (e.g. was promised same day call (on Wednesday) and I didn't hear anything until I CALLED the following Saturday).

Dropped off my laptop for repairs: overheating, noisy fan, freezing and losing internet connection.I was told repair would take 2 weeks as a new fan would have to be ordered. I was told my laptop brand had a known tendency to overheat. I was contacted four days later and informed my computer was left running for three days in the shop and did not have these problems. Shop tech said internet connection loss had to be due to internet connection at home, although no other computer in home has this issue. For this "repair", I was charged $80. Once back in my possession, the computer immediately started overheating and fan made loud whirring noise. Needless to say, computer continues to repeatedly lose internet. What a rip-off!

David has made every purchase I have made from him incredibly easy. I look to his store first for any technology purchases, and recommend him to anyone I know in need of repair or diagnostics. I haven t worried about who to trust in the field of computer repairs since I started working with Hamilton. Ten stars if it were possible.

I have had several terrific experiences with HCR. After spilling water on my fairly new laptop and rendering it useless, HCR sold me a comparable used replacement at a great price. They also fixed an issue I was having with my browser. Great customer service and clearly knowledgeable staff. Mr. David Webb is a polite person but when he said he'll fix my laptop he actually made the problem worse to the point where it doesn't even turn on anymore. He doesn't return my messages or any of my calls

I have purchased 2 used computers and upgraded another. They all work great and would highly recommend Hamilton computers for purchase and repair.

Up front disclosure: I know, and am friends with the owner. However, my honest review is that he's fair and honest. I've seen him working with customers before to find the best answer for them, and not taking advantage when there is a lack of knowledge. This is something of a rarity today.

My laptop was overheating badly and was at risk of burning through my desk, through the floor, and down into the Earth's core, thus destabilizing it and destroying the entire planet. David at Hamilton Computer Repairs knew just what to do, got it done, charged only a pittance; you all owe him your lives.

Went in about two weeks ago with a broken laptop screen, and the girl at the front was immediately able to see what was wrong, gave me an estimated price and an expected date to pick it up. It took all of 10 minutes, and I was anticipating on having to wait for much longer. After a little over a week, I got my laptop back and the screen looked better than before! It came to a very great price and I will definitely be going back there if I need to.

I purchased a used laptop here and a few days later the sound quit working. I called and asked for assistance and was told bring it in we will have it for you in 3 days - and then proceeded to say it was a simple down load. Though this was rather simple to him I spent the better part of a day figuring it out - and I run a business and need the computer's sound working. I cannot tolerate such a poor attitude towards a customer who duely paid and was told the fix was rather easy - but the customers he had that day were "more important". I simply cannot tolerate poor customer service and told the man so - he was very rude. I fixed the problem myself with the help of Lenovo - but I wouldn't buy anything here ever again. He will refused timely customer service if you have issues later on. Its rediculous to have to wait 3 days for a download that was accomplished in minutes. UPDATE: Shortly after this event the hard drive ceased to boot. Upon returning the computer to be repaired under warranty I was met with professionalism and great customer service. Berto was spot on, repaired the unit much faster than he said he would (in an hour or so) and I am really changing my mind here. I'm leaving up the previous words so that you the reader can see I jumped to a bad conclusion - in fact - I would recommend them to anyone. I was totally impressed. Berto needs a raise!!! :-)

Dont believe the reviews hype. Guy has his friends do reviews as he charges nothing for them. Asked for a burner, paid $90 and he basically shoved me out the store because he was still moving 20 feet away to a more rundown location. Burner still doesnt work been collecting dust ever since, doesnt return phone calls. Better stores to go to than this guy

I needed a Mac laptop for my son and let David know to be on the lookout. Not only did he find me a great refurbished machine at a reasonable price, but he also ordered a missing key at no extra charge. This is the second refurbished laptop I've bought from HCR and I will surely call again if I need another machine.

Brought my son's laptop for repair on a Tuesday and it was fixed and ready the next day. Expert work at what I estimate is 1/3 of the big box store prices.

Brought my laptop by because the fans were loudly buzzing and overheating. They diagnosed it by the next day, attempted to clean the fans but they were coated in dust so they ordered new fans for it and installed it. Cost me 180$ and took 5 business days, very worth it. I can't even hear the fans when the laptop is running, and the temperature of my laptop has gone down a lot.

Had an idea of what I wanted for a laptop, Hamilton found me a used one with similar specs for almost half the price. Even helped me with graphics driver problems a few weeks later. Fantastic company and great service, highly recommend.

Made a phone call to David and was told to come in now and he would have a look. Sure enough took it apart in front of my eyes and diagnosed the problem. Needed a new part. He put my machine together so that I could use it and ordered the part. When it comes in he told me I would be notified and to come in and he would replace it while I waited. Absolutely no down time with my computer. Another establishment told me I would have to be without my computer for two-five days and the cost was twice as much as at Hamilton! You bet that I will come back without thinking twice if I have another problem. Nice, courteous, honest and fair. Highly recommend the place!

This is the worst place to buy a used computer or have it repaired warranty are totally BS I bought I Mac Pro tower at time of purchase I asked the person behind the desk if it ran latest iOS and attempted to up date it when I got home the machine wouldn t even load past the apple screen mind you when I bought it back to fix it because the owner David Webb refuses to accommodate my needs as a customer the week after I bought it back and he made me pay $120 even though it was well within my 60 days so I originally spent $480 then had to spend another $120 within the 60 days of purchase very unprofessional owner is pawns off customers and is not a reputable business man however I must add Adrian is very nice will answer any questions and I well underpaid for wat this owner put on him I would highly not recommend this place at all and I must add when I originally purchased my Mac Pro it had A 2tb and 120 solid state with 16 gigs of memory and after I paid $120 for them to fix wat they sold to me that was falsely advertised on their shelf I got home and only had A 120 solid state drive my 2tb was completely removed I texted the store and my number was block and attempted to call and the numbers says out of service but is the same and only number listed on google I posted this because I don t want any other customer to be scammed like I was by this business very unprofessional and unrepeatable get better service for your money else where!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Technician (David) replaced and upgraded my RAM, as well as replacing the battery on my Macbook Pro. He did it in 15 minutes and only charged me $200 for everything. Every other repair shop I went to quoted the battery replacement alone at $160. And for $40 more dollars, I got an 8 GB RAM upgrade out of it. Great deal, and David was pretty pleasant to deal with.
