The Efteling is a wonderful place to visit, there's so much to do and so much to see and it's all beautiful. The rides are crazy and exciting! The parking is huge so it's a really long walk and the price of the ticket and the parking is something that I could book a city trip from. Many stories in Dutch but the app is very helpful to translate and see waiting times etc.

We have really enjoyed out stay in Efteling. It was very quite because of the bad weather forecast, so there were no queues, and Efteling was open till 23:00 - mid summer night. It really feels like a fairytale, both for children and adults, every time we go there.

Would have been 5 stars but now getting too busy with the expansion and addition of the new hotels. Also the little things that used to make the place memorable seem to have stopped and the menus at some of the restaurants had less dishes than previously available.

Very good for families, built very family friendly. The roller coasters are okay, if you need adrenaline, choose another park, it s rather a theme park, made pretty detailed. We were lucky, almost no waiting lines. All in all worth a visit, especially with younger children.

Go To Tip when in Holland. Offers a great experience for the entire family. One ore more days are easily filled here. Attractions vary from beautiful decorated extreme rides for the oldest ones amongst your family. And mesmerizing story based experiences for the smallest ones.

Really awesome place..if you like daredevil roller coaster rides then yes you're at perfect search. 4-5 kind of roller coaster rides, various kind of themes, boat safari & one of the ride which will give you experience of water rafting..that one i really liked. One of the play from live performing artist was also really nice experience. There act was really good that it felt like real. The Efteling is hands down the best theme park I've ever visited. From dark fairytales to state-of-the-art thrill rides (you have to check out the Baron) this park has it all. The attention to detail is incredible and it's easy to get immersed in the experience. The Efteling mainly caters to the Dutch, but English speakers will find the park easy to navigate with translations readily available. Highly recommended!

This is a hard one to score. The rides are great but suffer from poor/long queues. The restaurants are very average and of course expensive.

It is definitely a nice place to visit. But, I often feel that I didn't quite get my money's worth when I leave. Also, extra opening hours are not for the rides, which is poorly communicated.

Love how much thought was put in all the attractions, especially the newer ones. Even in the lines you can enjoy the view and ambiance. The food is not that great and neither are the souvenirs. You can easily spend a full day here even when there aren't many other visitors, so come early if you don't want to miss out on anything before the park closes.

Amazing place, the level of detail that goes into everything, and I mean everything , is amazing. Been twice now and will come again. Eateries everywhere and fresh water spots to refill your water bottle. I observed how very considerate of guests with disabilities .

An amusement park with a lot to do for all ages! There app is very useful if you want to know the wait time for rides. There are a lot of bathrooms and they are relatively clean. Food from all over the world so it always smells really good. The rides are obviously very fun and thrilling!

A really nice park, it's also a very large and spread out park so it takes a bit of walking to see everything. The park also contains a huge number of dark rides and walkthrough exhibits. It is located in a nature park and forest and is excellently landscaped. Standout coasters here are Baron 1898 and python. If you want a look at the park check out "Go Theme Parks" on youtube.

We went as we were encouraged by out Dutch friends and family to go. This is a place that holds special memories for many. I was hesitant at first but by going with a seasoned group, I felt better about the experience. It was a rainy day and some attractions close. However the rides we did get to go on were fun. This was considered a quiet day and wait times on the popular rides were between 30 minutes to 60 minutes. I would avoid it during peak times. They are quite strict on the height restrictions. Some have a 110 cm, 120 cm and 140 cm height restriction. There is a cheaper way to get the tickets than advertised but you will need to be on the Dutch version of NH international site and have a Dutch bank account to pay with. Someone did this for us and it includes transport costs to the area. We got off at Tilburg station and we were not able to get on a bus (runs every 15 minutes) as it was full. We ended up taking a taxi which cost us euro 45. That was the down side of the day was being able to get there. We stayed over night at a hotel nearby called guest house hotel kaatsheuv which was very good. It can be a costly day. Dutch attendees usually packed bread, cheese slices and ham slices (from the super market) to bring along which saves a bit of money. Overall worth a visit but plan ahead.

What can I say about one of the best theme parks in the world? I am visiting it every year. If you are looking for a magic experience, here you will have it. It has so many good things, however in my last 2 visits, the park was "overwhelmed" by huge amounts of guests collapsing the entire park services. I would recommend you to plan a visit outside high season. The park has so many secret places and it requires you to be part of the magical place. Once you have done it, you will discover a fantastic place to be. The servcie of this park is by far the BEST I have seen in Europe.

Great place to take your family/friends or just go it solo. Many fun rides to choose from, many restaurants and games to play. Much to take it in all in one day. Rides to surely get on arr: The Baron, Thd Python, The Flying Dutchman...... Great fun pictures you can collect from each ride also not forgetting to stop at one of the many gift shops.

It's a great theme park and a lot of fun for the entire family, both big and small! We went with small kids (3 and 7) and there were plenty of rides they could enjoy as well. The park is well organised, restaurants, toilets and bins are everywhere and the staff is very helpful. We stayed at the Efteling hotel which gave us a half an hour early access to the park and some of the busier rides such as Symbolica. We visited the park off peak (February) and it was less busy and hardly any queing. I also highly recommend getting some pancakes at the resto next to Symbolica. They have both savoury and sweet! Yummy!

I visided with my wife who is dutch. It seemed to carry much nostalgia for her because she had been previously when she was younger. Visiting for the first time as an adult, it offered quite a unique experience. The puppets and anomatrons were very intriging and many of the rides were fantastic. Minus one star because there was lots of stuff that was worn down and/or not upkept very well plus many, if not most of the shops were closed along with half of the rides. I might have given three stars if it wasn't my wifes favorite place to go.

De Efteling BV: A Magical World of Thrilling Rides and Enchanting Fairy Tales

De Efteling BV is a Dutch amusement park located in Kaatsheuvel, North Brabant. It is one of the oldest and most popular theme parks in Europe, attracting millions of visitors every year. The park covers an area of 72 hectares and features a wide range of attractions, including roller coasters, water rides, dark rides, shows, and fairy tale-themed areas.

The history of De Efteling dates back to 1935 when it was opened as a sports park with playgrounds and a tea house. However, it soon evolved into an amusement park with the addition of various attractions such as the Fairy Tale Forest (Sprookjesbos) in 1952. Since then, De Efteling has undergone several expansions and renovations to keep up with changing times while preserving its unique charm.

One of the main draws of De Efteling is its enchanting atmosphere that transports visitors to a world full of magic and wonder. The park's design is inspired by traditional Dutch architecture and folklore, creating a nostalgic ambiance that appeals to both children and adults alike. From the moment you enter through the gates adorned with giant mushrooms and fairies to exploring different themed areas like Adventure Realm (Reizenrijk), Fairy Tale Forest (Sprookjesbos), or Land van Laaf - there's always something new to discover at De Efteling.

Apart from its charming setting, De Efteling also boasts some thrilling rides that cater to adrenaline junkies. One such ride is Baron 1898 - an immersive dive coaster that takes riders on a freefall drop from 37 meters high at speeds up to 90 km/hour! Another popular attraction is Python - one of Europe's largest roller coasters featuring multiple inversions over its track length.

For those who prefer more relaxed experiences can enjoy boat rides through Raveleijn or take part in interactive shows like Aquanura - an impressive water show featuring fountains synchronized with music & lights.

In addition to these attractions mentioned above; there are many other exciting things waiting for you at De Efteling! You can explore different themed areas like Adventure Realm (Reizenrijk), where you'll find exotic landscapes inspired by cultures around the world; or visit Land van Laaf – home for quirky creatures known as Laven who love nothing more than having fun!

If you're planning your visit soon then make sure you book your tickets online beforehand because this place gets crowded quickly during peak season! You can easily reserve your spot via their website which offers various packages depending on your preferences & budget.

In conclusion: If you're looking for an unforgettable day out filled with adventure & magic then look no further than De Efteling BV! With its unique blend between thrilling rides & enchanting fairy tales set amidst beautiful surroundings – this place truly has something for everyone regardless if they are young or old!
