Good theme park overall. It overcame my expectations. A very pleasant place to be and the attractions are well designed. You can see how well kept everything is, specially the rollercoasters, because they look very safe.

The restaurants did let me down a bit. If you expect to eat a better meal, you'll have to wait for dinner. Lunch meals are the basic Dutch choices.

In covid times, they put up walls in lines and took other measures to make sure people don't cross each other within less than 1,5m. I don't know an exact number but it feels like they are operating with at most 50% of capacity because although it is high summer and it feels like the park is full, the lines are usually quicker than you would expect.

Overall, it is a very nice place to go with your kids or with your friends, and if you are not afraid of rollercoasters or heights, I'm sure you will find many fun things to do. Oh, and do not miss the aquanura show at the end of the day.

We've been here 3 times with 7 kids age 17 down to 6 and we all love it here. It has great atmosphere with lots of rides of all kind. We love everything about efteling. Fun, food, adrinalin, excitement and much more. Parents and kids all happy. We can't wait to go again. The raveliejn and aquanura are my favourite shows.

We went there to celebrate my brother's birthday and we absolutely loved it!!! It was the winter efteling. You have unlimited access to everything. The app is a must!! It guides you and informs you about all the necessary details. The only drawbacks were that the free WiFi was working only with the efteling application and that the restaurants did not have enough indoor space so you ended up eating outside in the cold.

Very nice amusement park, lots of different options and rides.
Lots to do with kids of all ages.
Not too expensive. Very nice end of the day show.
Opening hours are a bit short.
Food in the different little foods hope's is a bit expensive but comparing to other amusement parks still reasonable.

Amazing park, worth your whole day visit....actually you can't see everything in one day. Not even when the waiting lines are short. We have to come again probably! Extra tip; we expected walking routes and better roadsigns to the atractions.

Awesome theme park that can compete with the best in the world. Great stories before you enter certain rollercoasters! Best fairy tail world's that you can walk through. Great price for an awesome park that updates with a new big attraction almost every year. Alot of staff that walks around in great outfits that match the park or the attraction. They are always on point and very friendly.

Great park for all ages.
Stay in one of the hotels and you actually get 2 days tickets and a breakfast for the costs of 2 days tickets (at least for 5).
Lots of fun and rides for all ages
Food can be better in some park restaurants

An amazing theme park in the Netherlands, awesome rides and the nocturnal visit made it all the more fun. Lots of options for food and amusement. The roller coasters are fun too. You can download the app and can see the map and the waiting for all the rides and plan accordingly. Kids will love this place, totally recommended and worth visiting.

Great place to take the kids, there is so much for the children to see and do. It's full of fairy tales and rides.. The walk through the enchanted wood is truly magical for them with so many things for them to see and interact.. The rides although it takes some time to get on certain rides are pretty good too... There are plenty of places to eat along the way and food is pretty tasty.. Well worth a visit maybe even two visits to see everything, it's best to get there early as possible... If you have not been there before be sure to pay for your parking ticket online before you go, it just makes it a little easier.. The water display is well worth a watch too but make sure you get there well before the crowds do to get a good place to watch or video it.. All in all well worth a visit :)

This place is perfect for a family day out. We had so much fun but so little time. It's big, a whole day is not enough to go around. Little fairy buildings, structures, shows for kids and lots of restaurant with good quality of food and drinks. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice theme park for young and old with both thrilling rides and calmer atractions as well as the fairytale forest and playgrounds for the youngest. The waiting lines can be quite long, some being over 90 minutes and even though there were hand sanitizing stations around and most queues were adapted because of the coronavirus, the measures weren't nearly enough or strict enough. They could do a lot more in that sense. Although they would enjoy it, I'd recommend not going with grandma and grandpa for now.

I've been coming here since I was a kid and it's still a great place for a day of fun. There's stuff to do for everyone, from a young age (Fairytale Forest, Land van Laag, Carnival Festival) to an older age (rollercoasters and thrill rides). Every attraction is themed and most of the days the queues aren't too long.

The best amusement Park I have ever been to. This park puts you in a dream world, such a special atmosphere, nothing can beat that. Been going back almost yearly since my first visit as a kid, but now with my own. Highly recommended. There is no park like it. Focus is on what matters, not just great rollercoasters but lovely sceneries, green, clean and historic atmosphere. A place where I would love to live. Would love to work there also, just for the memories and atmosphere.

I am a big fan of the Efteling. It is truly a place where anyone can find something to enjoy. Whether it is walking through the fairytale forest, enjoying the crazy cool rollercoasters, having fun with the entire family, munching on great snacks, or just enjoying the beautiful park, the Efteling is a great place to be.

Had a 1 day trip to Efteling. What a magical place. Our three children all under 11 had a great day. We went not knowing much about the park and now I think our favourite theme park we've visited. There are attractions and rides to suit all ages if your thrill seeking. Or just taking walk through the woods with all the displays is enchanting. Loads of places to eat which look really good. We had fast fresh pasta which made a nice change to your normal fast food. The whole park seemed really well kept even the toilets on what was a busy day. Definitely worth a visit we can't wait to go back.

Great theme park about Fairy tales. The park is visually beautiful and beautiful to walk throughout. There's not a lot of people during the week so very short waiting times. Attractions are nice and very detailed and ideal for the entire family. The roller coasters are very good. The park is good value for the price (around 40 ).

Loved it! Only down side was it was a slightly chilly cloudy day so when I got soaked on the rapids ride, I had no way of drying off (no air drying pods like at alton towers!) So I did spend the last couple hours of the visit a cold damp person, but now I know that ride WILL get you drenched so avoiding that next time unless it's a hot sunny day! (Going on fast rides will probably help dry you off, or at least take your mind off it for a minute haha)
Also UK folks, if you've got your euros on a post office travel card (better exchange rate and top up while already on holiday) they work here!

This is by far the best amusement park we've ever been at. The fairy tale theme is surprisingly great for all ages. The Efteling App was most helpful for planning visits to rides and other attractions. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Yes, lines were long at times, but they have created a complete attraction to house the line ups. Everything seemed extremely organized, staff was friendly, and the actors were interactive allowing plenty of photos and shaking hands, etc. They offer plenty of shows and I believe short parade and fireworks every night. (We went on a Friday and experienced both). My strongest suggestion would be to plan a 3 day visit. There is no possible way to enjoy everything in a one day visit. I hope to be back soon!

An awesome theme park in Western Europe. Rivals most of the Disney theme parks worldwide and blows Paris Disney out of the water. Reasonable prices with excellent service. The staff seem to be competing on who can provide the best service. This place is huge. Caro is a wonderful show and worth every penny.

This place is simply the best!
It's magical all around. There are activities for all ages and most of them are for all ages (:
Efteling is a must visit when you're in Holland.
Tip: if you know a couple of months before the dates you'll be there - search online for discount tickets. Especially if you plan your trip to August

I absolutely LOVE The Efteling! It's not just for kids! We went during Winter Efteling where not all of the rides were running but there were still more than enough and they had so many other "winter" themed things to make up for it! Summer or winter, it definitely is a great way to spend a day with family or friends.

Been there like 3 or 4 times and loved it! We also stayed to Bosrijk apartments, which are super cute, spacious and clean. The park itself is huge and amazingly beautiful! Endless gardens with flowers, lakes and rivers, among the coolest attractions ever! Highlights: super yummy food and Baron roller coaster! Just don't combine these two!

The Efteling is one of the best parks from Holland, even from Europe. It's quite big and has expended a lot and is still expanding. There is a big parking lot. Parking isn't free. The park is really beautiful and good for all ages, the scenery and slow rides for kids, the intense rides for teens and adults. Really recommend coming here!

Fine of course, corona rules don't make sense. You are cooking between the plastic fences. One and half meter distance is also fine until after lunch everyone is done with it, and there is no red and white zone anymore. The carts are cleaned every hour, but don't see the point of having people in them before and after me. Thanks to all these measures, the waiting times were quite long and you do not have the experience of efteling as you are used to. You better wait until everything is back to normal and enjoy the "old Dutch Efteling park" again.

It's got rides and attractions catering for all walks of life from toddlers to thrill seekers and everything and anyone in between.

De Efteling BV: A Magical World of Thrilling Rides and Enchanting Fairy Tales

De Efteling BV is a Dutch amusement park located in Kaatsheuvel, North Brabant. It is one of the oldest and most popular theme parks in Europe, attracting millions of visitors every year. The park covers an area of 72 hectares and features a wide range of attractions, including roller coasters, water rides, dark rides, shows, and fairy tale-themed areas.

The history of De Efteling dates back to 1935 when it was opened as a sports park with playgrounds and a tea house. However, it soon evolved into an amusement park with the addition of various attractions such as the Fairy Tale Forest (Sprookjesbos) in 1952. Since then, De Efteling has undergone several expansions and renovations to keep up with changing times while preserving its unique charm.

One of the main draws of De Efteling is its enchanting atmosphere that transports visitors to a world full of magic and wonder. The park's design is inspired by traditional Dutch architecture and folklore, creating a nostalgic ambiance that appeals to both children and adults alike. From the moment you enter through the gates adorned with giant mushrooms and fairies to exploring different themed areas like Adventure Realm (Reizenrijk), Fairy Tale Forest (Sprookjesbos), or Land van Laaf - there's always something new to discover at De Efteling.

Apart from its charming setting, De Efteling also boasts some thrilling rides that cater to adrenaline junkies. One such ride is Baron 1898 - an immersive dive coaster that takes riders on a freefall drop from 37 meters high at speeds up to 90 km/hour! Another popular attraction is Python - one of Europe's largest roller coasters featuring multiple inversions over its track length.

For those who prefer more relaxed experiences can enjoy boat rides through Raveleijn or take part in interactive shows like Aquanura - an impressive water show featuring fountains synchronized with music & lights.

In addition to these attractions mentioned above; there are many other exciting things waiting for you at De Efteling! You can explore different themed areas like Adventure Realm (Reizenrijk), where you'll find exotic landscapes inspired by cultures around the world; or visit Land van Laaf – home for quirky creatures known as Laven who love nothing more than having fun!

If you're planning your visit soon then make sure you book your tickets online beforehand because this place gets crowded quickly during peak season! You can easily reserve your spot via their website which offers various packages depending on your preferences & budget.

In conclusion: If you're looking for an unforgettable day out filled with adventure & magic then look no further than De Efteling BV!
