It's been 12 years since I've visited the Efteling and it is still an amazing place. The new attraction Symbolica is beautiful. Not to forget to mention the awesome rides for older kids. The rollercoasters are very good. My personal favourite was the Baron. Try to get the front row seat. It is worth it! The fries are susprisingly very tasty. And of course the fairytale forest remains amazing and purely nostalgic.

One of the best places you can enjoy your time and make many memories with your family and your friends. Because of my majority (neuroscience) and the complication of nervous system , we know I enjoyed illusive room. This game is playing with some important nervous system soldiers; hearing, balance, optic, superficial and deep positional sensation. Go and enjoy it.
One of the other games I liked was he'll and heaven.

Extremely hyped. Does not live up to the name. Takes some time to reach here. And it is generally crowded. The main USP of this park, the Enchanted Forest, is the biggest disappointment. There were parts of that park where the ponds were stinking so bad it felt like a loo. Ticket price is also high. Definitely not worth the money or time.

Supergreat full of wild attractions, but also suitable if you aren't into those. Fairytale forest is just amazing and full of good nostalgy for any Dutch/Belgian person.also when they are now 65. You can spend a few days if you want to see it all and even in the most crowded days the park is so spacious it still has air (ok...not when you want to cue for an attraction.) Take the small ones and the big ones. There are stories and takes for everyone! The homemade stories are also really nice (Symbolica, Land van Laaf, Raveleijn...)

The Efteling! Pricey to get inside, but an experience like no other. Once a huge nature park, it added features of West European fairy tails and then all sorts of rides and now it's a fully fledged theme park. For real daredevils there's the tallest dead-drop ride in, I think Europe? But I prefer fast rides that are (mostly) in the dark, such as the bird one.

There are slow rides that, instead of a physical thrill, fill you with mental wonder because it showcases dreamlike scapes with fairy tail creatures.

During school holidays, the weekends tend to be calmer.

I had a lot of fun with a friend, and even the queuing wasn't too bad because of mini entertainmentd along the way (although still my least favourite part, obviously).

It's family friendly for even literal babies up to adults. Well, depends on the adult, but I loved it.

Efteling is an outstanding nice park. We want to thank the incredibly nice and always friendly employees there. Also the park seems to be maintained pretty well, as it is in a good condition. Finally Efteling has a really welcoming atmosphere and we enjoyed the woods inside the park. So lovely!
We hope that this park has the best years still in front of it! Outstanding! Superb! Really really good!

The efteling is a great place to take your kids and have a good day. They allow you to bring your own food and drinks as long as you consume them in the designated picnic locations.

Before going you can visit their website to find out how busy the day you will visit is going to be. When there don't forget to download the efteling app so you can get real-time updates on the waiting times at the various attractions. To my surprise the given times were quite accurate during my visit.

The park itself is known for being the cleanest park in Europe and that really shows. The staff is very professional and discreet, making sure to not break the atmosphere of the park while doing their duties. All in all well recommended to visit during your stay in the Netherlands.

What a great day! The park is well maintained, the attractions are overwhelming and the app is very helpful. The lines were ok, longest were about 40 minutes but they tend to shorten by the end of the day. Food variety is very good. One question, which is relevant to all Netherlands' parks - why do you also need to charge for the parking? The entrance fees are high enough.

Nice amusement park. Normally I would give 4 stars, but one star is extra deduction because of the ridiculous high parking fee (12,50 per day!).

+:
Nice amusement park, friendly staff, beautifully themed worlds, funny and thrilling rides.

-:
High Parking fee, the food is fat and not very good, the park is very big but doesn't have a lot of rides so even for the small rides there are waiting times up to 45 minutes.

We are glad we visited the park but we won't come back.

Great experience for young and old. A lot of different attractions and if the weather is good the park usually has longer waiting times. For the younger kids the fairytale forest is especially nice, whilst the older kids and adults will certainly like the different rollercoasters.

I love the efteling. Every year we go at least once and every year we are so surprised by the cleanness of the park and the super friendly staff. The park keeps on improving as well, the rides and the restaurants are on point. Never stayed in the hotel or the bungalows. Easy to reach with public transport

Would give more stars if I could. A beautiful theme park with so much to do. I see a lot of comparisons made with Disneyland Paris (which I also love) but I couldn't compare the two. Efteling has grown over many years, beautiful forest walks to extreme coasters, so it is a bit muddled but that adds to its appeal for me. As with most parks, it's a good idea to avoid school holidays and stay over in the on site accommodation as 2 or 3 days is needed

The most magical theme park I have visited anywhere in the world. Caters for babies through to the big kids. Fantastic kids rides, thrill rides and a magical fairytale land, all with a deep character. What a beautiful day!! Our 18 month old and her 5 and 7 year old cousins loved it.

Nice place. Well managed. Convinient with restaurants toilets in every corner. Huge park so helpful if u decide beforehand what all u need to see. As with lil kids difficult to cover rd everything. With 4 euros u can rent a convinient stroller for kids. As the park us huge try to be there by 10 so that uh get the parking nearby.only drawback is everything is spoken in Dutch.

What an amazing place for young kids under 10! The decorations are whimsical and well maintained. Two full days for a family with two young kids was plenty. We felt like we got to do everything we'd wanted to do. Late October lines for rides were a 30 minute wait max, but most were under 15. Helpful signs posted at the entry showed approximate wait times. A lot of rides and areas are original, some are familiar (charossel, ones similar to Disneyland's Pirates of the Caribbean and It's a Small World). Food options are plenty, there are lots of bathrooms, and it was easy to get around. Kind of a pain to get to using public transit from the Amsterdam airport. Big plus was a shuttle to and from the Efteling associated accommodations and the Efteling bus transit stop.

I love the Efteling. It's just the perfect day out for friends, families or with a date. We went to the "Winterefteling" this year, which makes it even nicer with all the plazas filled with large fire pits and hotdog stands. And how about the ice rink or cross-country ski track "'t Hijgend Hert"? Especially recommended is "Baron 1898", "De Vliegende Hollander" and "Joris en de Draak". Raveleijn (parkshow), Droomvlucht, Fata Morgana and Aquanura (parkshow) are must sees as well.

So long ago I was here, still a child myself. Now years later as adult with small children, when you enter the park all is in theme. Beautiful green taken care of, water forest, ducks, fishes, even squirrels I saw (all real).
The attractions, the rather slow speed ones, I can only say 'Wow!' They took away my breath, how it was build and presented, have to see for yourself.
If you are a daredevil (which I am not really) more than enough types of rollercoasters.
For small children fairy-tale forest and every where something enchanting or fun to see.
It is an expensive entrance fee and one day is by far not enough to see (or even do) all, it is worth the experience: if only to feel yourself in a magical world for a moment and/or see your child wow and be amazed that the fairytale tree really listens to them:)
(small note for Efteling itself: I found my experience being in another 'country/environment/dream' got broken when I took the Monorail in Laav-land: you can see and hear the road with cars and houses (the real life) from there, spoiled a bit my magical moment (but thats personal).
Overall I would go here again.

The rides are fun the fairytale atmosphere and aesthetic is amazing and magical, the fairytale Forrest is filled with characters you know. The rides and rollercoaster are great I haven't been on all if them but the ones i tried were superb, the food was great as well and the app helpful. I'd definitely reccomend to come to this theme park if you get the chance to.

The park covers an area of 72 hectares and features a wide range of attractions, including roller coasters, water rides, dark rides, shows, and fairy tale-themed areas.

The history of De Efteling dates back to 1935 when it was opened as a sports park with playgrounds and a tea house. However, it soon evolved into an amusement park with the addition of various attractions such as the Fairy Tale Forest (Sprookjesbos) in 1952. Since then, De Efteling has undergone several expansions and renovations to keep up with changing times while preserving its unique charm.

One of the main draws of De Efteling is its enchanting atmosphere that transports visitors to a world full of magic and wonder. The park's design is inspired by traditional Dutch architecture and folklore, creating a nostalgic ambiance that appeals to both children and adults alike. From the moment you enter through the gates adorned with giant mushrooms and fairies to exploring different themed areas like Adventure Realm (Reizenrijk), Fairy Tale Forest (Sprookjesbos), or Land van Laaf - there's always something new to discover at De Efteling.

Apart from its charming setting, De Efteling also boasts some thrilling rides that cater to adrenaline junkies. One such ride is Baron 1898 - an immersive dive coaster that takes riders on a freefall drop from 37 meters high at speeds up to 90 km/hour! Another popular attraction is Python - one of Europe's largest roller coasters featuring multiple inversions over its track length.

For those who prefer more relaxed experiences can enjoy boat rides through Raveleijn or take part in interactive shows like Aquanura - an impressive water show featuring fountains synchronized with music & lights.

In addition to these attractions mentioned above; there are many other exciting things waiting for you at De Efteling! You can explore different themed areas like Adventure Realm (Reizenrijk), where you'll find exotic landscapes inspired by cultures around the world; or visit Land van Laaf – home for quirky creatures known as Laven who love nothing more than having fun!

If you're planning your visit soon then make sure you book your tickets online beforehand because this place gets crowded quickly during peak season! You can easily reserve your spot via their website which offers various packages depending on your preferences & budget.
