Great theme park! Loved all the rollercoasters and the magical vibe of the place. Very packed and if you arrive early be ready to wait, a lot! Prices are reasonable for the tickets but food inside the park is very expensive and low quality so better bring everything you need with you from home.

While not as hair raising as other amusement parks (Fujiyama for instance), it was a whole lot of fun. The design of the whole park is amazing - every element has something special. The rides are good fun and lots of eating options also. It is crazily busy on weekends though, particularly in summer, so would recommend weekdays if possible.

Fantastic place, like you want to be back into childhood and relive all that emotions of happiness again. Lot of attractions that make nervous for grownups as well! Biggest swinging boat in EU - really tough if you sit on the edge. Last but not least - if you come for the day plan it well upfront on what you want to visit otherwise it's hard and lot of queues so maximum you will manage to see several attractions thanks to waiting time (which sometimes can be 2 hours!!!). Thanks Efteling for great experience and great day back in childhood!

Of course it s a must in Holland but the prices are ridicules! 4 for a bottle of cola! The waiting times on a Wednesday not while holidays, are around 30 minutes, on a Saturday in the vacation they can go up to 3 hours... I advise to take a hotel close by so you can stay longer then 1 day.

Great for children up to 12 years old with lots of slow rides and tons of fairy tails and magical sights. For young adults and teenagers the park offers less. Some nice roller coasters and a few faster rides, but not enough till fill a days worth unless you're willing to branch into the children's part of the park.

The Efteling is an amazing place to be. You can go as family or with friends. The theme designs are super unique and go through the whole park. You feel back to youth. The waiting times can be checked by a modern app that also includes a park map. You also should go to the carnival!
Snacks are available, everywhere.
Enjoy! (all seasons open)

This amusement park is one of the best in the Netherlands. Definitely worth the visit. They have walking routes due to COVID-19, they even make sure there is always enough space between you and the other visitors while queuing.
All the attractions are still open and the evening is closed with a fabulous water show

Efteling is always a joy to visit.
This is my second visit to Efteling and yet more happy memories have been created.
On both occasions, the park has not been too busy and it was easy to get onto all of the rides with a minimum of wait. I can imagine that it is not so good when the park is busy and the queues are long.
Everything in the park looks to be well maintained and everywhere is kept very clean.
Eating and drinking at Efteling is also easy, there are restaurants and snack bars dotted all around the park and the prices are not really any higher than you would pay in a local restaurant.
Plan your visit before you arrive to make the most of Efteling and DON'T forget where you parked your car !
Most of all just enjoy yourselves.

Efteling is fantastic amusement park.
Rollar coasters are fun but ride time is 2 minutes or maximum 5 minutes.
They have beautiful castles and visuals. Fairy forest has all fairies castles and apart from that they have some fun things in fairy forest.
My advise is go with the flow when you are there. They have map of whole place Almost at all important corners, you should just go and check the shows or activities or rides nearby you and enjoy!
Waiting time is generally very less, you can split your group and waiting time is even shorter. For inside castle activities there is no harm in spilitting your group, for rides you can stick with your group.
Don t miss the indoor rollar coaster- IT IS SO MUCH FUN!!
Thanks to amazing Efteling staff for a fun day!

Beautiful surroundings and fun attractions both for children and adults. Price for everything inside the park is sky high of course, 4 euros for a bottle of water. But the thing dragging it down from 5 stars is the amount of people who didnt follow the distancing rules and employees didnt seem to care or correct. I understand it is hard to talk to adults like they are kids but that is the reality in this situation.

It was massive. I think they have endless rides, castles and many more things of entertainment and enjoyment with friends and family. It is very difficult to explore the whole area in a single day as one has to do lot of walking to reach. Besides all the sign boards and directions are in French only so it was difficult to understand directions specially for the guests from Asian countries like us.It would very nice if they could place indicator s in English also. Besides due rain and weather conditions most of water rides and slides were not operational on the day. Otherwise the staff and all other equipments including safety one we're of hightest class.

THE best family and youth attraction park in The Netherlands. Great attractions for families with children and/or grandchildren of all ages. Great rollercoasters for dare-devils of all ages. Enchanting fairy tale forest that portrays most well known fairy tales.

Coming from the UK although many rides had to close sometimes due to extreme weather conditions, we had a really good time. Bonus, we never had to wait in line as there were few people about! My partner and I were concerned it might be too catered for families with young children but that wasn't the case. Although it was advertised in the UK, English wasn't always available on all the rides and shows making it impossible to know what was going on (that was fine but would have been nice). Staff easily spoke in English when they realised and made us feel very welcome. Would go again perhaps in a different season.

Had such a fab time over here. We stayed onsite at Loonsche land as well and went into the park on 4 different days. On the first day, we were told that it was very busy but I found that queues were no more than 30 minutes (a long queue in the UK would be an hour and a half upwards). It has a range of attractions for young and old and the theming around the park is excellent. I also enjoyed the selection of different foods you could get.

Great themepark with awesome rides and an extreme nostalgia inducing sprookjesbos. It's become a lot more expensive since my childhood but I suppose that's the result of inflation and the increasing number of rides being built. Definitely the best theme/attraction park in the Netherlands.

The Efteling is a famous dutch amusement park with very unique themes. A great day out for young and old. Plenty of thrills and experiences combined with the most excellent landscaping and maintenance, quite a lot of attention to detail. Many good food venues with affordable prices. Paid daily parking and good access by public transportation.

I had a wonderful time here. This was my first visit to a European amusement park and it set a very high standard. The themeing is top notch, the rides were fun, operations were great! I was worried that since I don't know Dutch, I'd have a problem but everyone spoke English and was very helpful. I hope I can make it back sometime!

Great park for both children of all ages and adults with lots of exciting things to do and many rides. I would recommend to come very early and start with the less attractive riders which take less of waiting time and to go on the popular ones later on. Definitely check out if the dates are recommended but not by weather but by the vacations in holland.
People tend to come here often and during or near a holiday lots of school kids sworn the place and makes the lines for the rides especially long.
I also recommend coming here for at least 2 days,1 day is too short in order to see and do everything.
Buy the tickets with the 30 min early arrival and 3 pmeals it is worth it.

I never miss to take the kids to the Efteling everytime we are in the Netherlands. The hugest amusement park so a must visit for everyone. I do prefer going there over the summer though as many attractions are closed during winter. Regardless there's so much to do that cant be done in just a day. There are rental strollers for kids and i believe electric wheel chairs for the elderly. However, make sure to keep your personal belongings with you at all times. On rides they are accepted so maybe consider carrying lighter bags. I love that this park caters to all ages and there's even lots of activities that people with disabilities can do. I always make sure to take all the rollercoaster rides my favourite. In winter there's always a pop up dome kind of setting were you can do various indoor winter activities like ice skating. Food points everywhere as well as bathrooms. Long queues but they move fast. This is my absolute favourite family destination with the little ones for the past 5 years.

Beautiful theme park. Staff is nice & helpfull. Paths and queues are clean. Rides are fantastic. From rollercoasters to family dark rides. Try to look at their website for a prediction of how crowded the day will be. Great park for families, but also for groups of teenagers and (young) adults. I would definitely recommend!

Have been going since a child. Has great attractions for all ages, mixed around the terrain.
Most to all rides are themed.
Gorgeous location and dress up of the surrounding area. A large portion of it is "old dutch" style.
Has a forest of fairy tales from across europe.
Park is divided across "realms" which have their own style.

Awesome day here! Went with my first born (11 months) and he really loved it!

The nature, rides and food are awesome!

Facilities are good; some male toilets didn't have changing pillows for my kid so that made me go to the ladies... (please change that, daddies like to act as a parent too:p )

It's still hands down my favourite theme park!

De Efteling BV: A Magical World of Thrilling Rides and Enchanting Fairy Tales

De Efteling BV is a Dutch amusement park located in Kaatsheuvel, North Brabant. It is one of the oldest and most popular theme parks in Europe, attracting millions of visitors every year. The park covers an area of 72 hectares and features a wide range of attractions, including roller coasters, water rides, dark rides, shows, and fairy tale-themed areas.

The history of De Efteling dates back to 1935 when it was opened as a sports park with playgrounds and a tea house. However, it soon evolved into an amusement park with the addition of various attractions such as the Fairy Tale Forest (Sprookjesbos) in 1952. Since then, De Efteling has undergone several expansions and renovations to keep up with changing times while preserving its unique charm.

One of the main draws of De Efteling is its enchanting atmosphere that transports visitors to a world full of magic and wonder. The park's design is inspired by traditional Dutch architecture and folklore, creating a nostalgic ambiance that appeals to both children and adults alike. From the moment you enter through the gates adorned with giant mushrooms and fairies to exploring different themed areas like Adventure Realm (Reizenrijk), Fairy Tale Forest (Sprookjesbos), or Land van Laaf - there's always something new to discover at De Efteling.

Apart from its charming setting, De Efteling also boasts some thrilling rides that cater to adrenaline junkies. One such ride is Baron 1898 - an immersive dive coaster that takes riders on a freefall drop from 37 meters high at speeds up to 90 km/hour! Another popular attraction is Python - one of Europe's largest roller coasters featuring multiple inversions over its track length.

For those who prefer more relaxed experiences can enjoy boat rides through Raveleijn or take part in interactive shows like Aquanura - an impressive water show featuring fountains synchronized with music & lights.

In addition to these attractions mentioned above; there are many other exciting things waiting for you at De Efteling! You can explore different themed areas like Adventure Realm (Reizenrijk), where you'll find exotic landscapes inspired by cultures around the world; or visit Land van Laaf – home for quirky creatures known as Laven who love nothing more than having fun!

If you're planning your visit soon then make sure you book your tickets online beforehand because this place gets crowded quickly during peak season! You can easily reserve your spot via their website which offers various packages depending on your preferences & budget.

In conclusion: If you're looking for an unforgettable day out filled with adventure & magic then look no further than De Efteling BV! With its unique blend between thrilling rides & enchanting fairy tales set amidst beautiful surroundings – this place truly has something for everyone regardless if they are young or old!
