Big beautifully organised and well-maintained theme park. The park is overloaded with nice gardens, plants and trees and attractions are real experiences. Highlights for me were the show "Raveleijn", cool fantastic attraction "Symbolica" and rollercoaster "Joris en de draak".

This is quite a unique park. For starters, it s very big! The story forest is amazing, rides are themed all over and everything is very clean. Staff is incredibly friendly and well-trained.

Efteling offers various meal options, even on quiet days. I do recommend to check the calendar on their website before visiting because it gives you an estimate of the level of busyness they re expecting. On busy days, wait times of 1h are not uncommon, especially for the popular attractions.

Lastly, the summer nights they re organising are a lot of fun. The atmosphere is very cheerful and happy, but usually these days are the busiest, so plan well!

A great park and keeps improving the existing, plus building new rides. Clean it is, and fun it is for every generation. It could be very busy but the park is spacious and never gives a cramped feeling apart from the queues.
For weekends: go on a cloudy but mild day in March before Easter. There might be some maintenance (which is good!) but then you can do everything you want in a single day, plus the cold-prone coasters are open on mild days.

Nice park with attractions for both adults and children.
Even though my aim was to only go onto the more adult attractions I ended up quite enjoying the ones which were children-oriented!
Something I really enjoyed was the single rider option. Look for that line of your plan is to ride solo on that attraction. You might end up standing less time in line!
Very broad range of food choices and friendly staff.

One of the best fairy tale theme parks I have ever visited. It's traditional aging back to 1900s and you definitely feel it. We thoroughly enjoyed the day eventhough our visit was in November and it was freezing cold. Few attractions were closed but that never bothered us. This attraction is very difficult to cover in a day.
We avoided car and took the bus from Tilburg and was quite happy with the decision. Many buses ply in this direction.

A 2 or a multiday ticket would be a great improvement point to be considered. We almost stood an hour before each ride with 2 kids. Nevertheless it was worth the wait!!

I would definitely add it to my regular attraction list.

Loved this place so much.

I think kids and adults can enjoy it. It's very beautiful because of the different fairy tails they explain.
I don't think it's a place to go for the rollercoasters, it's a place to go to see how they mounted all the different stories.

The haunted forest was my favorite, I would recommend to visit it in the daylight, even though some of them are also nice at night.

Winter Efteling was so wonderful, the decoration is amazing.

Great themepark with amazing rides and special effects.

Wheelchair accessibility:
Most places are accessible for wheelchairs. And if you re not sure, you can always use the app to make sure.

Fun for kids:
There are more than enough rides that are suitable for kids.

1 Hotel:
If you want to visit every attraction and want to stay at an hotel for the night, you don t have much choice. But the Efteling hotel is great.

Watershow:
Normally there s a show at 9pm every day called Aquanura and if it s really busy in the park, it ll be shown twice. It s a fountain/water show with literally hundreds of fountains and lamps. With those numbers, it s the biggest fountain/water show of Europe.

Special effects:
If you look carefully, you ll be able to find a lot of smoke, lighting, sound or even water effects around the entire park.

Best themepark in the Netherlands. This park has the best and probably most thrilled rides from NL (mostly rollercoasters). Best part is that not only the rides but also the queues and stations are very nicely themed. A couple attractions have a told story and special effects in the queu, gets you a bit hyped. We found a very good deal for cappuccino and apple pastry for 5.
Only the baron and the 'new' symbolica have a english written/told version of the stories told in the queu which is a downside if you are from abroad. You're forced to listen to something you don't understand missing the story of the attraction.
Still worth 5 stars.

Great park! There are a lot of rides and other activities for kids, there's a little less for older kids/adults, but there's still about 7 really cool ones that are a bit more exciting. The park is very well designed, everything looks like it's from a fairytale. If you're visiting for the first time be sure to check out the "sprookjesbos" (fairytale forest).

I haven't been there in 11 years. So it was so amazing to go there, being an adult, to both recognize and discover areas I went. Plus the new things built that I never visited. I wanted to go back the same week. The music, the animated shows, rides and sceneries..all, topped off by a watershow called Aquanura to end the day. So amazing.

Dutch classic. Going here is historic and melancholic for those times where fairy tales were told as life s stories, about good and bad, to children and adults. Yes there are exciting rides, but fairy tale forest and other displays of far countries and further countries add to the magic of the experience.

I ve been there when I was 8 with my parents for the fairy tales and rides, in my 20s I went for the rides, and now, I brought my kids to experience it.

I've always had good experiences in the park, but with the current covid measures there are some things that are just bad. For example, I got a warning that I walked in the wrong spot and would be kicked out of the park if I did so a second time, but I was following the arrows they stuck on the floor... Besides that the employees make sure to check what visitors are doing and whether they keep to the regulations, but they dont keep to the regulations themselves at all.

Lesson 1: always prepare yourself before a visit to any park. Its important to know what activities each of the kids can do (based on their height).
Lesson 2: come as early as possible, to start your visit before the long lines begin.
All in all - we loved it, but the kids said that Walibi is much better...

Very nice park. Good balance of roller coasters, drive through rides and slow one for kids and families. Definitely not as crowded as Disneyland. Food in the park ok, coffee 2.75, some Chinese take away 5e. You can leave your bag at clothes room by the entrance for 1.5e (foto bellow) . Staff friendly and professional. Everyone speaks English.

Enchanting, beautiful. The Dragon roller coaster best wooden coaster I have ever experienced. This park has everything from amazing speed rides to calm train and boat rides to fairly land parks that make you feel like a child once again. A must see location.

Trippy fairy tale land designed in classic fairytale style. There are games for young and old, although the queues are quite long depending on what day you go. Take comfortable shoes and clothes that dry quickly. The fairytale forest is the trippiest part of the park, but there are plenty of surprises around every corner! Definitely a place to visit in a group of with the whole family

I love fairy tales. This park is everything that makes fairy tales what they are: joyful, sad, beautiful, and kinda creepy. There is a story behind every aspect of this park, so if you like stories, please visit! Enough attractions to entertain people of most ages; would not recommend for children under 2 years.

WOW, what a park, the place was amazing for young and old alike. The place had an atmosphere which I have never experienced anywhere else before, the place looked and SMELT beautiful. We were lucky enough to have a day where the park closed at 11pm so had plenty of time to walk around and do most of the rides including the bobsleigh. Price for getting tickets were good and food and drink prices were as expected for the location. At lunch like we had sandwiches at one of the food halls the quality and prices were outstanding. Evening food we had food in the pasta restaurant, this was good quality and price for dessert we tried the pancakes in the pancake restaurant by the castle which were of great quality but did feel they were slight over priced. Overall great experience and will be returning, travelled from Cardiff S.Wales, drove to dover to dunkirk, and drove rest of the way up

The Efteling is not cheap to enter, but you do get what you pay for. The park is immaculate and the children's forest was a big hit with the two children we had with us (7 and 5). Considering we were there in the school holidays queues were short and we used the Efteling app to keep track of queues for the big attractions. One of my favourite things about the Efteling is that the food and drink prices at the many coffee, snack bars and cafes are comparable to prices outside the park and that there are no restrictions as far as bringing your own picnic, unlike some other parks.

The park covers an area of 72 hectares and features a wide range of attractions, including roller coasters, water rides, dark rides, shows, and fairy tale-themed areas.

The history of De Efteling dates back to 1935 when it was opened as a sports park with playgrounds and a tea house. However, it soon evolved into an amusement park with the addition of various attractions such as the Fairy Tale Forest (Sprookjesbos) in 1952. Since then, De Efteling has undergone several expansions and renovations to keep up with changing times while preserving its unique charm.

One of the main draws of De Efteling is its enchanting atmosphere that transports visitors to a world full of magic and wonder. The park's design is inspired by traditional Dutch architecture and folklore, creating a nostalgic ambiance that appeals to both children and adults alike. One such ride is Baron 1898 - an immersive dive coaster that takes riders on a freefall drop from 37 meters high at speeds up to 90 km/hour! Another popular attraction is Python - one of Europe's largest roller coasters featuring multiple inversions over its track length.

For those who prefer more relaxed experiences can enjoy boat rides through Raveleijn or take part in interactive shows like Aquanura - an impressive water show featuring fountains synchronized with music & lights.

In addition to these attractions mentioned above; there are many other exciting things waiting for you at De Efteling! You can explore different themed areas like Adventure Realm (Reizenrijk), where you'll find exotic landscapes inspired by cultures around the world; or visit Land van Laaf – home for quirky creatures known as Laven who love nothing more than having fun!

If you're planning your visit soon then make sure you book your tickets online beforehand because this place gets crowded quickly during peak season! You can easily reserve your spot via their website which offers various packages depending on your preferences & budget.
