Great theme park for the kids. Plenty of attractions and some roller coasters for adults also. Park is clean however in a bit run down condition. I also wish there would be more English descriptions for the attractions and navigation around the park. Overall great experience and will return.

Really beautiful and detailed world which allows you to fully emerse yourself in the story. Only a few rides for adrenalin junkies, but each and every one of them is good and quite special. A lot of rides for kids and places for kids to play. Unfortunately restaurants are quite expensive. About 10 for some fast food, but 15 for a lunch is okay I believe.
Enjoyed the stay since park staff are very friendly and know a variety of languages :)

Very beautiful theme park! The theme itself is "fairy tales". Don't let the fairy tales fool you, because this park is not only for kids, but also adults will find the attractions fun and amusing.

The park itself is also very beautifully decorated. Everywhere you look, you'll see something small or big to keep you in the fairy tale world. Even some waiting lines are decorated all the way until you are in the attraction itself.

Had a fantastic day! Weather was poor in the morning and visited on a working day, didn't need to queue for anything! Rides are great and it's nice to see a theme park that actually has a theme that follows throughout! If you're an English speaking only visitor (like myself), some of the voice acting isn't in English. Wouldn't expect it to be however and it didn't stop those rides from still being enjoyable!

With every penny, I would say it is better than Disneyland Paris. The food is reasonably priced, the queue's were reasonable, the longest we were in were 20 mins, as it's August I was expecting more. The amount to do for your entry fee is Amazing, in fact we were there at 9.30am and left at 6.30pm and still didn't see everything so we are going back tomorrow. The only thing is some of the rides do the commentary only in Dutch so we didn't know what was being said but it didn't spoil the overall enjoyment of the ride.

really liked it! The food is tasty, you definitely have to taste the sugar donuts, they are just AWESOME! The rollercoasters are also a lot of fun. And the other attractions are awesome too. What's the best thing? It ist just the perfect stay for the hole family! There are some many attractions for the little ones and for the big ones. I was there twice and I'm definitely looking forward to spend there even more time

It is a fun park with a lot of things to do. I would say it is nearly impossible to visit all the rides and amusements in the park. It would recommend going to this park with your children. It is a fairytale based theme park. And everything is displayed in dutch/french/german and english.

It's a lovely place for kids fantasies to run with the fairytales they see. The park is divided in different sections, where you'll find a new theme. Amazing foodtrucks and restaurants throughout the park. Literally everything food is being sold pancakes to kebab and grilled burgers to fish and chips. The whole park is very spacious so even on the busiest days you still can walk a normal pace.

The Efteling is a very large amusement park for all ages. The attractions (like roller coasters) are decorated beautifully - even with their own music themes - and the park is full of trees, plants and flowers. Even the waiting lines and the garbage cans are an attraction :) The park is open all year. It stays open longer in the summer and is decorated nicely in winter.

Check the expected rush in advance on the website and think about what you want to do as it's impossible to visit every attraction in one day. Make sure to install the app so you can quickly spot shorter waiting lines. Consider staying in the Efteling Hotel or one of the parks to visit the park three consecutive days. When staying - or paying a bit extra - you can enter the park half an hour earlier and visit some of the attractions ahead of the crowd.

Water, restaurants, small places to eat and live entertainment are everywhere. As is free wifi and everything a Pokemon player needs. Everything is maintained very well and the park keeps on growing as you can see by following their YouTube channel. Staff is super friendly and may hand out some perks if you interact with them nicely.

Great, the jest por children 4 years and older, I think. A few rides, theatre, puppets, palaces, castles, parks. All linked to traditional tales. All of the attractions in Dutch, some english instructions but not much. Expensive but you get a ticket valid a whole year, children under 3 don't pay.

It is always a pleasure to come here! The road is great, the parking huge, the food delicious and at every corner. Everything is clean. And I mean I have no idea what kind of roboter work at night, because waiting at the Gondel we found not one spec of dirt or spiderwebs on the beige railing. Talk about wow.
The attention to detail is amazing, the air you breathe is magical and the children are mesmerized. I feel like a queen every time I visit. If you have more than a 2 hour drive, think about getting the whole package: sleep in the castle and visit the park for several days. It is worth every penny. Also check out the offers online, sometimes there are certain percentage points that enable a bigger shopping bag at the merch section
We had 20% off tickets today! Talk about loooove.
Personalized icecream, all kinds of actors, shows, theater, waterslides, chips, trains, princes, dragons, all the characters out of children's book came alive, small villages full of amazing detail and everything clean. A shout out to all the workers, and those who pick up even the smallest speck of garbage.
Wow! Hat off! And princess tutu on... until next time, keep the magic alive!

Such a fun place to go with family. The website doesn't do it justice with enough information. It is better to spend a night or 2 as you cant do all the rides and activities in a day. Then if you go with a car, remember to note where exactly you parked, we didn't do that in our case and it took about 15mins locating our car

The real first cool day after a week of heatwave in Europe and we went with a group of five friends to the Efteling. After 8 years I went to the Efteling and they had some fantastic new attractions like Symbolica and the Baron 1898. Our German friends always compliment us on how original and unique this park is, where almost always an attraction has its own story or storyline. We expected it to be very busy and crowded, but no such thing. We could walk everywhere easily and the longest we had to wait was 15 minutes. PERFECT . Very nice staff, good food and clean park & toilets. Great job off the employees there. We will be back. And to the people at the Baron 1898 I personally say I am still very sorry that I pushed one of the buttons of which I thought it would show something. If I had known it was the controlpanel I would not have caused the trouble. So again, my sincere apologies. And one of us was stung by a wasp, but he is doing okay. Look at the picture what that does to your skin in the beginning.

A whimsical and enchanting place. A great place to visit with the kids, especially on a nice sunny day.

Used to be more Dutch-oriented but is a nice place to visit for tourists now as well. Entry price is very cheap for how large the park is, the prices on food vary depending on how fancy you want it. (The restaurant at the very start is a "La Place" with another name, with very small portions of food for too high price. Go further into the park for better quality!)

This is a huge park with something for everyone. Being tourists from Australia we didn't know what to expect and it was a highlight of our trip to amsterdam.
Awesomeness all around, huge coasters, small stuff too. Something for everyone a must visit!
The python and the Barron are awesome

Came with a 14 yo and a 17 yo. Spent all day on the roller coaster. We came on a Sunday, mood August around 2 pm. Lines were short, probably because this day started of a bit rainy. We managed to take each ride a few times. If there was a 7 star rating, it would have gotten it!

Rides are good , lots of places to eat and accommodation is peaceful and beautiful. In the park there is lots of outstanding theming. Best ride is Dreamflight ( a magical fairy kingdom). Baron is the best ride for adrenalin seekers with a steep drop into 1898 mines.
The bob sleigh ride is closing down.

The only thing I didn't like how the bars and buffets work. In one little pavillon you can buy only one or two sort of food. For example there was a pavillon for donuts another for fries another for hotdog. etc The most of the buffets sold only sweet things. I had to wander a lot until I could fine something tasty (at least for me tasty) I found only one big restaurant.

Amazing fairytailed theme park with so much to offer for both kids and adults alike. If you are an adult these fairytale will take you back to your childhood. Lines for the attractions can sometimes be very long just depends on when you visit, food prices are on level with other major European theme parks.

Well what an amazing place this is.

We've been to many theme parks, including Disney (Paris & USA), and many UK parks. We have to say that this is up there with the best of them.

It is a family friendly park, one that has something for everyone, from young to old, thrill seeker to theme park noob.

There are plenty of thrill rides to satisfy the teens (and crazy adults alike) - vertical drop coaster, water coaster and river rapids ride..

The place had a magical feel, and is all themed around traditional fairy tales.

The hotel that we stayed in was Loonsche Land. A new hotel all themed around the forest and nature, very picturesque and really beautiful inside.

Awesome theme park. A day is too short to see everything. This time I went with my kids of 2 and 5. There was no dull moment and we visited just a subsection of the available attractions. We used the app on site to check on waiting times and walking distance.
We did bring our own stroller for convenience. Unfortunately there aren't too many actual good places to park them while you're on a ride. Point of possible improvement. It didn't hinder our visit at any time though. Great time!

The park covers an area of 72 hectares and features a wide range of attractions, including roller coasters, water rides, dark rides, shows, and fairy tale-themed areas.

The history of De Efteling dates back to 1935 when it was opened as a sports park with playgrounds and a tea house. Another popular attraction is Python - one of Europe's largest roller coasters featuring multiple inversions over its track length.

For those who prefer more relaxed experiences can enjoy boat rides through Raveleijn or take part in interactive shows like Aquanura - an impressive water show featuring fountains synchronized with music & lights.

In addition to these attractions mentioned above; there are many other exciting things waiting for you at De Efteling! You can explore different themed areas like Adventure Realm (Reizenrijk), where you'll find exotic landscapes inspired by cultures around the world; or visit Land van Laaf – home for quirky creatures known as Laven who love nothing more than having fun!

If you're planning your visit soon then make sure you book your tickets online beforehand because this place gets crowded quickly during peak season! You can easily reserve your spot via their website which offers various packages depending on your preferences & budget.
