Beautiful place for children. It has many rides and fairytale themed things. It s best to be visited in summer. The prices are abit high but that s expected from a theme park like Efteling. There is a number of places where you can sit and relax, but also buy food and drinks. There is also a gift shop where you can choose from a variety of park themed toys and other accessories to keep as a souvenir. Really great!

What a beautiful theme park!! Easily accessed by public transit. We went on an incredibly cold day but the crowds still showed up. There were many things to do indoors and shows to see as well. They had also set up big bonfires which were attracting largecrowds given the low temperatures so on the whole it was easily managed as long as you were dressed warmly.
There are definitely more rides than can be managed in a day and plenty to do and see for both young and old. The pirate ship and Villa Volta were a big hit with our family, as was the ice rink. The viper needed prebooking and had barely any line up because of it. It would have been nice to know in advance since we had to give this ride a miss.
We ended the day with ice skating (skate rentals are 2 Euro an hour) and left through the enchanted forest. I wish we had spent more time exploring this during the day as the attention to detail is just exquisite.
Plenty to eat and drink at the park but we carried lots of snacks for our 5 and 7 year old. We had chocomel when we ducked out of the rain at the central train station which has lots of seating and restrooms. Finally, I must highly recommend the spiral potatoes. So fresh, warm and delicious!!!
Recommend downloading the app before you go so that you have all attractions, the map and show timings on your fingertips.

Amazing theme park extremely well known among the Dutch. It is one of the oldest theme parks in the world and is always innovating. Particularly great with children, but any age can enjoy this theme park. Waiting times vary greatly between time of year and weather forecast, but are anywhere between non-existing and about an hour. A lot of famous attractions (such as a revolving house which make it seem you're upside down) originate in concept in the Efteling. If you want all the rollercoasters of which one is more crazy than the other, this is not your theme park (they really only have 3 rollercoasters that are quite adrenaline rushing and 2 more mild rollercoasters (a wooden one and an amphibious one)), but the theming is marvellous and even going through the waiting line is often just as much part of the experience as the 'actual' attraction itself is. This park is great whether you're there for the first time or the 20th time!

Probably the best theme park I've ever visited. The flying Dutchman ride is just fantastic, but a bit short. Be prepared because you can get really wet sitting in the front.

The magic forest has all the well-known Grimm fairy tales, it's just so nice to take a walk inside and enjoy both nature and bizarre fairy tale themed decorations.

Also, be sure to check out the musical fountain schedules, you won't regret it ;)

An incredible theme park which charms with it's beautiful sets and imaginative animatronics whilst also offered a huge range of varies rides and experiences. I'm a grown man with a baby now and haven't been to Eurodisney since I was 13, but I'm definitely going to be choosing Efteling as the fairy tale park of their childhood.

Great for one or more days of fun with family or with friends.
The place looks great and well maintained loved the variety of restaurants and coffee houses.
Plenty of playgrounds and lots of trees and plants which go along very well with all of the birds.
The atmosphere is amazing and everything is very comfortable and non-expensive.
The kids had the best time and so did we.
Definitely will be back.

We love Efteling! There is so much to see and do, and the park itself is beautiful. If you avoid weekends and local holidays the queues are pretty short. We visited recently with a short list of exactly what we wanted to do and still didn't quite manage everything. Try to visit for more than just one day!

My must see list would include the fairytale forest, Droomvlucht, Raveleijn, the steam carousel, the museum, Fata Morgana, Symbolica, the Pagode, and Aquanura.

What a gem. This is a beautiful amusement park filled with fun rides and rollercoasters as well as great food and shows. I was surprised by how big it is and how fun of a park. I've been to amusement parks all around the world and Efteling has been one of my favorites.

The park itself is pleasant, with the pretty water features, and the boats, and the little train that travels around the park. The coasters are fun, but careful with other rides being listed as being for "daredevils with guts." Some of them are in need of an update. While the aesthetics are cool, some shows or animatronics need a fresher take.
Another plus is how easily you can take a bus to and from Eftling. Pretty convenient for those without a car.

This is a place where pretty much every dutch person will have memories from. There is a lot to do for all ages from small toddlers (ours is under 2) till adults with some loopy rides.

The park is themed around old kids tales so its a lot of fun. Keep in mind that the lines get long and it can be very busy in the park.

Efteling is a beautiful theme park with a qwerky and unique ride selection, everything has been thought about here. If you are purely a rollercoaster enthusiast then maybe this isn't the place to come, purely because the coaters are majorly experience based, but those experiences are utterly world class. Food was reasonably priced and of a good quality. Staff are amazing, so guest focused, they will go out of their way to help you out if you need anything. For a full experience of the park you realistically need two days in order to see everything. Brilliant park, would definitely recommend.

The Efteling is one of the most beautiful amusement park in Europe. Young and old can have a great day, they have chilling rides, very cool and fast rollercoasters, but also other cool attractions. All attractions are themed arnd a story. For the little ones the story Forrest is great (also for the adults) here you will find the popular stories from your childhood, little mushrooms playing music, talking trees and much more. You will not regret a viti to this great park.

Good place to spend a day when visiting Amsterdam, however i expected more since it is ranked as the fourth best theme park in Europe.
The rides were fun but too short, and wait time for each is from 20-35 mins. The staff were very nice and kind. The park has so many snack places and restaurants too.

We had a lovely day with my wife and my daughter. There are rides for adults as well as for children. Luckily, one of the rollercoasters required a minimum height of 110 cm and we were able to ride it with my daughter. Most of the adult rides in many theme parks require 120 cm, and my daughter becomes sad when she can't get the coolest rides. Sometimes we even regret that we come to that place. But today she got her first rollercoasters ride ever. I also liked other shows, houses, castles, cartoon characters etc. There were various eating and drinking places and the prices were reasonable. Also it's easy to reach from Tilburg or Den Bosch central stations. It was Friday and the weather was not very hot, so it was not crowded. Waiting times never exceeded 30 minutes. I would recommend for a nice day with family.

Great place to visit. Friendly and very helpful staff. A true theme park as the rides genuinely follow a theme. Rides and activities for all the family from young to those wishing still to be young. Does not suffer from the over commercialisation of others like Disney Land. Great day out and good value for money. You have got to make time for the fairly tail forest.

Efteling is an amazingly fun place for all ages. The love for detail is apparent in every single brick they lay. Only criticism is the vegetarian food. It was tasty, but the price is way too steep and why a"no-meat burger" comes without bun or condiments is beyond me.

This is a pretty amazing place. Lots of good rides for all ages and all done with a distinct character. If you like model castles and strange animatronic characters you'll be in heaven.

We were two adults and three kids and we felt we were done after a day and a half of hitting everything but the little kiddy rides. The coasters were really good and the gentler rides made a nice break. There was a good mix of coasters so we all had a different favourite.

The park was very clean, very well maintained and there were lots of new attractions being worked on. The staff were very friendly, if a little casual, perhaps that is a Dutch thing. The food was decent quality basics, and lots of yummy stuff. Certainly not luxury but nothing was badly done.

We stayed in Loonsche Land in a cabin which was a short and pleasant walk through the woods. Again, this was basic but clean and tidy and everything worked. We stayed late both nights to see the fountains and also the theatre show which was easily worth doing.

A real life fairy tale! Beautiful place, you can spend the whole day until you are out of energy and not see it all. The rides are fantastic, the Baron was too much for me, closed my eyes most of the way! Rides are beautifully themed, delicious food everywhere, seating, shows, great rides for kids! Overall an amazing place

Whar can you say about a great place like this. Ever since i was a kid and the biggest attraction was the magic forest ive been visiting. So yeah, its great. Though they should do something about the waiting lines. That people accept it, does not mean it should be normalized.

This place is absolutely wonderful. The new ride Symbolica that just opened up is incredibly beautiful. The attention to detail and design is fantastic. The environment suits all people, whether young or old. And this is a must go to place if you visit the Netherlands.

Very enjoyable, not too busy. Staff are superb. Polite, funny, and all multilingual! It's extraordinary to have everyone speak fluently in English... I've visited parts of the UK where the average level spoken English is worse than it is here!

In the event of a zombie apocalypse, it's a large bit of land... you'd need a massive group of survivors to secure the area. But it does have plenty of water and hardware available, and walls/gates to reinforce. And if you don't mind candy floss, you could probably survive on the food stored there for decades.

The park covers an area of 72 hectares and features a wide range of attractions, including roller coasters, water rides, dark rides, shows, and fairy tale-themed areas.

The history of De Efteling dates back to 1935 when it was opened as a sports park with playgrounds and a tea house. One such ride is Baron 1898 - an immersive dive coaster that takes riders on a freefall drop from 37 meters high at speeds up to 90 km/hour! Another popular attraction is Python - one of Europe's largest roller coasters featuring multiple inversions over its track length.

For those who prefer more relaxed experiences can enjoy boat rides through Raveleijn or take part in interactive shows like Aquanura - an impressive water show featuring fountains synchronized with music & lights.

In addition to these attractions mentioned above; there are many other exciting things waiting for you at De Efteling! You can explore different themed areas like Adventure Realm (Reizenrijk), where you'll find exotic landscapes inspired by cultures around the world; or visit Land van Laaf – home for quirky creatures known as Laven who love nothing more than having fun!

If you're planning your visit soon then make sure you book your tickets online beforehand because this place gets crowded quickly during peak season! You can easily reserve your spot via their website which offers various packages depending on your preferences & budget.
