Perfect day for all the family. Lots to do for a return visit. Dont have to pay for anything else once you have bought your entrance ticket. Unlike lots of other theme parks. Apart from food and drinks which can be found from a very wide range of cafes etc scattered all over the park at reasonable costs.
Long queues though for some popular rides. Staff friendly and helpful.

Great family day out. Good app to use too to locate rides in the park. Plenty of food huts and places to sit. One of the big rides (think it was the wooden one) was closed when we were there with no explanation as to why- no signs and nothing on the app. Dissapointment but the rest of the rides were good.

Full on entertaining place for any age person, best amusement park in the country. It's in the bucket list of each an every person who visits Holland/Netherlands. Get a full day and visit you will enjoy each and every ride available over there. My personal experience is that try to go on a non holiday as waiting time will be less and you won't get tired. Few highlights of the park are Python, Baron 1898, Symbolica, Joris en de Draak(wooden racer roller coaster), Vogel Rok(roller coaster in the dark), Pagoda. These are few names but most popular ones so try it yourself and get mesmerized. Ticket for and Adult is 45 as of now it's better to book it online and get a slot. Enjoy

Efteling is a fantastic theme park with a grand old school fairytale feel to it.

There are several types of rides and sightseeing locations for both thrill ride enthusiasts and fans of more calm rides. Personal favourites include the Dreamflight and Symbolica rides, former which is great if you are a fan of 80's fantasy movies like Dark Crystal and Neverending story.

There is much to see besides just the rides, with walk-in attractions, food carts and the fairytale forest.

Recommended for both young and old audiences who enjoy stories, rides and old Disney.

I like this theme park very much i think even its better than Disneyland ..you pay a lot of money for Disneyland and you cannot play almost with anything its because tooooo crowded !!
I went to Efteling last time with my daughter on Wednesday and it was great not crowded.

I mean, what can I say? It's a wonderful place to be. A must visit, in my opinion, but I might be a bit biased as I've been here a lot over the years now. Can a bit pricey, but there are often a few deals around and you get your money's worth, a day filled with good experiences. Note worthy is that food's getting better and better, with more freshly made things on offer.

Easily one of the best theme parks in Europe (probably the best for families). Fantastic selection of coasters (Joris en de Draak and Vliegender Hollander in particular), loads of great dark rides and a brilliantly landscaped park. Aquanura and Raveleijn are the best shows I have ever seen, they are truly mesmerising. Parking is a little pricey (currently 10) but this seems to be quite typical for Holland. Price of parking and entry I feel is justified for the quality of the attractions and the opening hours. I got in free with my Europa Park and also Phantasialand annual passes, a nice bonus you may not know about.

The best place for kids and grown ups. You have everything for all ages. Our 16months old baby loved it. You need hovewer 2 days to visit it completely. If you cannot find any rooms available at their hotels go to NH Waalwijk. Efteling is the Disneyland of Holland just that it's 10 times better

Efteling is a surprisingly big and awesome theme park. We weren't sure what to expect, since we're mostly used to Disney parks. This is like Disneyland but with a lower budget for attractions and more areas of natural, foresty beauty. The attractions are really charming and unique (not all just Disney rip offs like some theme parks) with a definite preference towards dark rides over thrilling rides. The Baron 1898 coaster was fantastic with an incredible drop and cool theming though it was very short. Fata Morgana is kind of like Pirates of the Caribbean crossed with Sinbad. Dream Flight is a very unique dark ride that was cute and would be good for kids who really like fairies. Villa Volta is fun and surprising, and Carnaval Festival is like their version of It's a Small World. The food in the park isn't that great so don't have high expectations there. Oh, and the show Caro is great, I highly recommend it. Overall, don't expect the same kind of quality as Disneyland but Efteling has its own charm and magic. We were pleasantly surprised by it. We stayed at the Efteling hotel which was a nice experience and very convenient for the park. I recommend staying only one night and getting the two day park tickets.

The park in one word is fabulous. Every thing is well organised. Parking is plentiful, the staff very helpful and attentive. The pricing is spot on. Not expensive at all. Very attraction is well looked after. Clean, food selection is great. You will need at least 2 days to complete the park rides ect. Again mega!!!!

The theme park sprawls over a large area and has a multitude of rides most of which oriented around european folklores - hansel & gretel, snow white and rapunzel etc, hence you can be sure that kids are going to love it. However, what I personally found a bit lacking was rides that could cater to adults(similar to Universal Studios). However, efteling has a charm of its own and is a must visit in the Netherlands.

Is an amazing place, for all ages. In my opinion soo much nicer than Disney. Cheaper, healthier food options, more shade from lots of trees and wooded areas(really helps with younger children on the hotter days of the summer) Not so many selfies being takenand people posing in front of the camera as Disney lol. Quieter and more peaceful but with some top rides that will fulfil the needs of adrenaline junkies. Great place

If you visit the Netherlands and are looking for something special to do, block a day to visit the Efteling in Kaatsheuvel. This themepark is amazing and since the start in 1952 a place that many Dutch people visit every now and then. The entrance fee is not cheap and it does not include the 12 euro 50 parking fee. During holiday's you also will have to wait in line for most of the rides but there is also an option to buy an extra card so you won't have to wait in line.

You will not find a themepark that has more eye for detail. Every building big or small looks just amazing and if you have to wait in a queue, you'll notice the effort that went in on designing the themepark.

The Eftering is suited for kids and thrill-seeking grownups. Popular rides are the 'Droomvlucht', 'Fata Morgana', Villa Volta, Python, Baron 1898 and Joris en de Draak.

In 2019 a new ride opened, 'De Zes Zwanen'. Do not wait in line for this ride!! It is a waste of time!! That's just a personal tip, you wait in line if you like, if that's your thing, go for it! ;)

At closing time you'll be able to see a water/fountain show at the entrance of the park. It truely is beautiful and makes for a nice closure of the day at the Efteling. We hope you'll visit and enjoy your stay.

A great team park! We were a family with kids of 6 and 3,5 years of age. Starting off with the park of fairytales, we walked for about an hour and our kids enjoyed the different stories and were intrigued. Off we went to the attractions and there was plenty for the smaller kids as well as older once. Clean, organised and a fun park. You spend easily a day there and you could also do two full days if you want to see all the different parks.

I love efteling:) it's an amusing amusement park (pun intended). There is something for everyone. For kids, for thrill seakers. You can walk around there for hours, seeing it is also a literal park. Some attractions are a bit dated, but yes so nostalgic! (there are new ones being built/opened not so long time ago)
Minus point: food is expensive!

Park is in exceptional standing, super clean and the staff are helpful. Lots of options for food, however it's of course cheaper if you bring your own. Easy access via bus & train, or substantial parking is available also. Would recommend, and don't underestimate the time it takes to get around.
Recommend watching the water show!

A mandatory stop for anybody visiting Holland.

We visit the Efteling each year. This time with friends and it was so far the only time we could enjoy the attractions multiple times! It's usually very busy and one day is not enough to enjoy all the attractions. That's the only reason I don't give 5 stars. But we were very lucky this time!

Amazing experience! I loved the fairy tale forest. The park is extremely kid friendly and not too expensive for food. Fata Morgana was really beautiful to ride in!

Only wish it was a bit more English friendly. One of the rides I was waiting in broke down and the crew ordered everyone to get of the ride. However the instructions were only in Dutch.

De Efteling BV: A Magical World of Thrilling Rides and Enchanting Fairy Tales

De Efteling BV is a Dutch amusement park located in Kaatsheuvel, North Brabant. It is one of the oldest and most popular theme parks in Europe, attracting millions of visitors every year. The park covers an area of 72 hectares and features a wide range of attractions, including roller coasters, water rides, dark rides, shows, and fairy tale-themed areas.

The history of De Efteling dates back to 1935 when it was opened as a sports park with playgrounds and a tea house. However, it soon evolved into an amusement park with the addition of various attractions such as the Fairy Tale Forest (Sprookjesbos) in 1952. Since then, De Efteling has undergone several expansions and renovations to keep up with changing times while preserving its unique charm.

One of the main draws of De Efteling is its enchanting atmosphere that transports visitors to a world full of magic and wonder. The park's design is inspired by traditional Dutch architecture and folklore, creating a nostalgic ambiance that appeals to both children and adults alike. From the moment you enter through the gates adorned with giant mushrooms and fairies to exploring different themed areas like Adventure Realm (Reizenrijk), Fairy Tale Forest (Sprookjesbos), or Land van Laaf - there's always something new to discover at De Efteling.

Apart from its charming setting, De Efteling also boasts some thrilling rides that cater to adrenaline junkies. One such ride is Baron 1898 - an immersive dive coaster that takes riders on a freefall drop from 37 meters high at speeds up to 90 km/hour! Another popular attraction is Python - one of Europe's largest roller coasters featuring multiple inversions over its track length.

For those who prefer more relaxed experiences can enjoy boat rides through Raveleijn or take part in interactive shows like Aquanura - an impressive water show featuring fountains synchronized with music & lights.

In addition to these attractions mentioned above; there are many other exciting things waiting for you at De Efteling! You can explore different themed areas like Adventure Realm (Reizenrijk), where you'll find exotic landscapes inspired by cultures around the world; or visit Land van Laaf – home for quirky creatures known as Laven who love nothing more than having fun!

If you're planning your visit soon then make sure you book your tickets online beforehand because this place gets crowded quickly during peak season! You can easily reserve your spot via their website which offers various packages depending on your preferences & budget.

In conclusion: If you're looking for an unforgettable day out filled with adventure & magic then look no further than De Efteling BV!
