Its an amazing place that feels magical the rides are out of this world the waiting lines aren't long with an amazing system for both groups and solo riders, the theme is clearly shown and makes it feel like you're in a difrent universe the only down side I see is that consumables are really overpriced

Covid has affected the numbers at the park, which helped in waiting lines. Loved it, not flashy like Disney parks, lots of character, enough stuff for older teenages. Stayed in Efteling hotel at the park, very convenient to walk to the park & nice hotel. Even the slow white boat ride around the lake was enjoyable.

For a grand day out (or two) do visit #efteling in lovely Netherlands. A modern theme park with lots of shady walkways, fountains and suprising views. All well maintained, new attractions and historic (boat) rides alike. Latter, also suitable for ages 2+. When it comes to boats, the lake tour was a bit too long, but still nice. The #baron1898 rollercoaster is a (very) short but freefall experience. #Symbolica castle a must. Fairytale park is enchanting, if you like #animatronics. Food prices are moderate - fair, considering 40 pP entrance fee. #eftelingpark

Rides were closed due to the weather (a bit of drizzle / a bit of ice, nothing they can really do about it though) but the ticket prices are ridiculous for the amount of things you can actually do. Rides seem outdated without any actual maintenance (painting etc). Really nice fairytale forest though.

This was a brilliant and well organised place to take the extended family for a special stay. We were there two nights and it wasn't long enough! Plenty for all ages to see and do.
The package stay included unlimited entry to the park and car parking. The food we bought at Panorama was excellent and reasonably priced. Otherwise we self catered. Quite a few attractions were not operating as it was the winter season, but there was more than enough to keep all entertained.

On the 01.12.2019 we visited winter efftelling. Beauful and enorme busy. But cannot complain it is our misstake to buy the tickets when there is an company event. Some people pushed us away with the comment that it is our day public shouldn't be here. As the flags said Essent So I think those people from Essent. One thing I didn't like. Lots of people misuse the single ride option. Other than the day was fantastic. So my tip for the people who is going to book tickets skip the days what shows as company events. There are reasonable places to eat every place has different price. But you can choose something fits your pocket.

The Efteling is often referred as The Netherlands best theme park. It is always amazing and even enchanting from time to time. With 7 rollercoasters there's a lot of thrill seeking to be found while the 'Droomvlucht', the Fata Morgana and the fairly new 'Symbolica' will take you to a fairy tale world. And that's only a fraction of what the park offers. It is the largest theme park in The Netherlands and as such has excellent secondary facilities like restaurants, restrooms and a huge parking lot. It is the most expensive theme park but also the best to spend a whole day, both for younger kids as adults. Due to its popularity, waiting times can be extensive; sometimes over 45 minutes. The summer opening times though, up to 11pm will surely compensate for this. Please like this review if useful. Thank you.

Ideal locations to spend on a sunny day with family or friends. I advise you to visit Efteling during weekdays to avoid long waiting lines. Also application is helpful to orientate yourself within the park and be informed of waiting time for each attraction.

We had a blast and would have loved to stay longer. Efteling is an awesome Park for the whole Family. The Rides, the food, the Staff, the Shops and everything in between was just awesome. You do not have to wait for hours to get on a Ride. And on top, the Parking is a dream. There will be a second time for us for sure.

I am a theme park enthusiast so Efteling has been on my hit list for a while. Finally I managed to get myself there for the day and I wasn't disappointed.

The theme park has a fairy tale theme which had lead me to put it off but upon visiting I realized that Efteling is anything but exclusively for children. big thrills can be had amongst the family rides and some of them (Symbolica) give Disney a run for their money.

Theming is excellent throughout and the entire park is set against an enchanting music score with each individual ride featuring it's own foot tapping tune. It's details like this that set Efteling apart from the crowd and adds to the immersive experience.

Efteling is a world class themepark that will take a whole day or more to explore.

The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because the food was very expensive and utterly terrible (the best meal we had was when they dolloped some sweet and sour sauce on some noodles and chucked it in the microwave). Forget the Nacho's, wraps and panini. Come on Efteling I thought you would be bucking the trend?... but alas thankfully this is the only thing Efteling gets wrong so all is forgiven.

Great for kids. Didn't have time to do everything in a day but overall great experience. All my Dutch relatives knew this classic Dutch theme park. Not too much waiting time when we went but I'm sure it's very different in the summer. The restaurants inside are overpriced obviously though. A shame it closes so early (6pm).

Pros: This park is almost like fairytale world has come alive. Nicely themed areas, thrilling rides, many options for people from all age groups. Easily accessible by bus and car.

Cons: Food options are not so great and a bit expensive. Waiting time is high during summer and especially on weekends.

The best theme park in the Netherlands (in my opinion) It is great for young and old. There is a fairytale forest and also a part with all kinds of attractions such as a roller coaster etc. Suitable for children from 5-6 years. Walk a lot. Beautiful in a wooded area. My favorite is definitely "Dream Flight". Especially don't compare with Disneyland. This is much older and more authentic! Be aware entry is not cheap. Sometimes you have discount coupons.

Good amusement park, coasters are fun and exciting. Lines were not too long, water rides were not overly wet (didn't get soaked which is nice), park is very unique, themed areas are very detailed. The food is ok, expensive as expected. They "don't allow drugs" however they don't check your bags at the entrance so...

Efteling is a great place to bring family and friends. You can go alone, or with a big group. There are big rollercoasters that make you scream the loudest you ever have, and there are nice slow rollercoasters. You can find everything. A very magical place with a great story behind it.

Amazing family experience! There is something around every corner of the park and it is truly magical. You need longer than a day to explore everything, wish we had more time! Don't get me wrong though, fantastic day, we went mid summer on an overcast / slightly raining day - glad we did, missed any queues for anything and sailed through everything we went on. Maximum waiting time was 10 mins

A very fun Disneyland like Park in Holland. Many fun rides and fun snacks to eat. They have everything from Fantasy character meet-and-greets to roller coasters. My favorite ride was the bobsled ride it's a very smooth roller coasters type ride. I would definitely recommend if you're going to be in the area well worth a visit.

I can honestly say that we recently experienced the best holiday I have ever had! Efteling is just fantastic. The Rides, staff, site, accommodation, food are all just truly wonderful. I really want to go back already. I have visited Disneyland Paris 3 times and I would genuinely go back to Efteling over Disney every time. Thank you so much for our amazing stay Efteling team! :-)

A nice experience for the whole family! The kids will love all the fairy tales and story based attractions and for the adults I recommend the various roller coasters. There is enough possibility for food and refreshments and even during the COVID19 pandemic there is a good balance between safety and enjoyment.

Unforgettable experience. Nice and clean environment is just a base. Top professional crews with understanding of childs expectations gave everybody feeling that they are the most important important at this moment and this place. Efteling obviously bet on worging with right people's. And that is important. The little or bigger clients are in contact with people's and not with a company. Different kinds of meal is also important and good idea. And don't forget: the fairytales are present everywhere, different kind - what is important for children's and understanding of different emotions and feelings.
Andersen's The little match girl is like a diamond. Sad but gorgeous. I will come back again to come marvel.

The not so good: Understaffed on peak days
Hours of waiting lines, even for lunch!

Early Access for efteling hotel guests: you get locked behind a gate until the official opening times so day guests have faster access than hotel guests, to the major rides

What a spectacular place! Recommend so highly visiting either on a day trip or an over night stay! We stayed for 2 nights in Loonshe Land (includes breakfast and park tickets).
It exceeded all of our expectations, I loved it!
Magical and beautifully designed and grounds kept. Feels like you are actually in an old enchanted city the entire time. The buildings are not just fronts/ facades but real beautiful castles/ gnome houses etc.
Rides are well designed and plenty of new and old rides for repeat visits.
Prices in the park are great value - much cheaper than you would expect. Snack machines, sweets and ice cream stands, restaurants all great value and good quality!
We look forward to returning again!

De Efteling BV: A Magical World of Thrilling Rides and Enchanting Fairy Tales

De Efteling BV is a Dutch amusement park located in Kaatsheuvel, North Brabant. It is one of the oldest and most popular theme parks in Europe, attracting millions of visitors every year. The park covers an area of 72 hectares and features a wide range of attractions, including roller coasters, water rides, dark rides, shows, and fairy tale-themed areas.

The history of De Efteling dates back to 1935 when it was opened as a sports park with playgrounds and a tea house. However, it soon evolved into an amusement park with the addition of various attractions such as the Fairy Tale Forest (Sprookjesbos) in 1952. Since then, De Efteling has undergone several expansions and renovations to keep up with changing times while preserving its unique charm.

One of the main draws of De Efteling is its enchanting atmosphere that transports visitors to a world full of magic and wonder. The park's design is inspired by traditional Dutch architecture and folklore, creating a nostalgic ambiance that appeals to both children and adults alike. From the moment you enter through the gates adorned with giant mushrooms and fairies to exploring different themed areas like Adventure Realm (Reizenrijk), Fairy Tale Forest (Sprookjesbos), or Land van Laaf - there's always something new to discover at De Efteling.

Apart from its charming setting, De Efteling also boasts some thrilling rides that cater to adrenaline junkies. One such ride is Baron 1898 - an immersive dive coaster that takes riders on a freefall drop from 37 meters high at speeds up to 90 km/hour! Another popular attraction is Python - one of Europe's largest roller coasters featuring multiple inversions over its track length.

For those who prefer more relaxed experiences can enjoy boat rides through Raveleijn or take part in interactive shows like Aquanura - an impressive water show featuring fountains synchronized with music & lights.

In addition to these attractions mentioned above; there are many other exciting things waiting for you at De Efteling! You can explore different themed areas like Adventure Realm (Reizenrijk), where you'll find exotic landscapes inspired by cultures around the world; or visit Land van Laaf – home for quirky creatures known as Laven who love nothing more than having fun!

If you're planning your visit soon then make sure you book your tickets online beforehand because this place gets crowded quickly during peak season! You can easily reserve your spot via their website which offers various packages depending on your preferences & budget.

In conclusion: If you're looking for an unforgettable day out filled with adventure & magic then look no further than De Efteling BV! With its unique blend between thrilling rides & enchanting fairy tales set amidst beautiful surroundings – this place truly has something for everyone regardless if they are young or old!
