Best kept secret in Europe is what my wife said when I brought her for the first time.

Adults and children alike will love the spectacular fairytale forest

Lotsa amazing rides for adrenaline junkies

All set in a huge forest

Take yourself and your kids and if you have no kids go anyway. This really is a magical place to visit.

The natural scenery and fantasy theming in this park are beautiful. It's size and variety of rides and attractions definitely gives you plenty to do during your visit. I would recommend at least two days in this park in order to be able to explore the whole park. Though I'm sure even then you will still find a reason to return.

Some stars of the park are the Baron for a thrilling drop and Python for the classic rollercoaster with 4 inverts, as well as Droomvlucht and the Fairytale forest for beautiful theming.

Despite being the most popular themepark still after decades, I think Efteling should embrace becoming a digital company. Not only in how its run their business but also in what they offer to their customers. Virtual reality could play a role in setting it apart from the competition.

Europe's best family theme park, without doubt. It has rides for all of the family to be entertained, fantastic food, and a welcoming atmosphere. It's open 365 days a year with the rides and the decor adapted to suit winter weather. It includes a fairy tale forest that cannot be missed. Allow multiple days because you will need more than one even if isn't busy. Stay in the Efteling accomodation options if you can as they are high quality and offer early entry into the park.

Amazing place. Spend a weekend here? No problem! It's not a usual amusement park. It's rather a story telling place.
Different attractions for children and adults (though some can still be added to the list), cool mobile app, food everywhere, everything works till late, shows, fairytales, actionable and sightseeing attractions - everythingis here.
Downsides are queuing for 30-60 minutes to some attractions, no rollercoaster suitable for children (I think the big one isn't!)... and that's it
Btw, interesting approach to parking. In case number of visitors on cars is bigger than parking slots, then they park you at grass fields far from Efteling and coaches transfers you back and forth when needed.

Lovely park. All the employees are so nice. We had a small conversation with the gardener about the park and nature! The thrill rides are not that good, but I love Joris and the Dragon and Baron1898. All the attractions are well themed and do have their own story and music! Its fun to visit for young and adult :D. You have to visit this place in the winter and in the summer! During the winter the whole parc is changed to a winter wonderland. The most magical place to visit then is the fairytale forest! In the summer you can visit the negen pleinen festijn. Its a day when the parc is opened till 23:00pm and there is entertainment all over the place!

One day is not enough. Very well organised park, food is still affordable. There are so many attractions, we could not watch any show. Leave the "sprookjesbos" for the end, because it is open long time in the evening and participate on other attractions they close earlier. You need 1,5 hour walk for the sprookjesbos. It is more interesting for small children.

I have never been to a large scale amusement park before, And didn't expect to enjoy it much. This place is extraordinary though! There is something here that is fun, interesting and enjoyable for anyone at any age. The displays are all fabulous and the environment feels quite authentically antique, though it clearly is not.
My 5 and 3 year old kids made me promise to bring them again and I will.

Best amusement park in the Netherlands, perhaps even Europe. Nowhere else will you find the real dutch "gezelligheid" combined with such a unique magical atmosphere. Suited for all ages and group sizes.

During winter the park is dressed in icicles, snow, and campfires. Cottages serving seasonal food and drinks can be found nearly everywhere, occasionally accompanied by jolly carolers. A must-visit during the holidays!

This is the best theme park I have been too outside of Disney World. I was particularly impressed by the staff. Excellent customer service and all spoke English extremely well. Particularly impressed with the food which compared to British theme parks was amazing and great value for money. No need to pack sandwiches!!

Incredible amusement park in the Netherlands. Very clean and lots of activities for children and adults. Only on crowded days, the waiting times can be up to 40 min or more. They could change the system. However, you can see the times in the app and thereby plan well. The rollercoasters are amazing, the forest is full of detailed story telling and the shops offer great souvenirs. Always a massive joy to be there with the family!

This place is not like other attraction parks, it's really an adventure park, with emphasis on adventure :) fun for kids and adults alike with many rides featuring story telling around the world and fantasyland, bringing you back to your childhood. Highly recommend! Key takeaway: the rollercoasters won't blow you away but the fun fantasy rides will bring wide smiles to your face from ear to ear. :-D

Amazing place to go, I live in the Netherlands myself and been to this place multiple times now. A quick tip for all people who don't like big lines. You should go on a Sunday in the winter. The longest line I got took about 30 minutes. Make sure to make a good plan what you want to visit, it's a big park.

Like always, this is one of the greatest and most enjoyable theme parks in the world. I've been coming here since I was little and I only have fond memories of this place. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The park is clean and always gets updated. The food is delicious. But we'll, the prices go up every year. That is something we can expect when everything get slowly inflated. Either way amazing park!

This is the best park of the Benelux. You can see yourself in a different world for a day. A fairytale. It's a park well thought of, and for the young and old. This park is all about details. Everything is thought of. They even have talking bins. Throwing your trash away is made fun! The park is very clean, buildings look like they're really new while they've already been there for many years. Very well maintained. The new attractions together with the older ones in Sprookjesbos for example blend in really well. Cause they all keep the same appearance throughout the entire park.

A very picturesque, laid back park. If you like Disney then you'll really like this park, the only downside is that all of the preshows are in Dutch, which kinda ruins the atmosphere if you only speak English. (obviously it's understandable that it's in Dutch but it would've been nice to have an English option)

It's amazing, gift shops are great, rollercoasters amazing, if you don't like hights, you can go into: vliegende hollander (flying dutchman) and the vogelrock (birdrock), if you like speed, go in joris en de draak(joris and the dragon) and the python, if you have Young children you can go to the Fairy tale forest, and the restaurants are good, they have an eye for detail, so that deserves a 10/10, and you can Rent a wheelchair, You must reserve it 24 hours in advance, it's free to rent a wheelchair, you have a water rollercoasters, I recommend it to you.

So much fun! A really underrated theme park which is based around old European folklore, myths and legends. Rides and activities which are suitable for children as well as adults are a plenty and there are a few roller coasters for the thrillseekers out there. All in all an excellent day out, I only wish I had more time to see it all.

One word "wow". Its totally amazing.
Some tips: July/August is holiday season so try to plan the visit in weekends. Its better to stay for a night over here and enjoy within two days. If you have only a day then start when it opens (i.e. 10am). You can carry your own food stuff as well. The park is open all over the year, not matter even if it rains!
The app is very helpful. The helping guys do many language specially English but the instructions are given in Dutch. Restaurants are not costly or over-priced.
Will recommend to visit rides first. Don't miss the water show in the evening (7.15pm or 8.15pm). If you visit in weekdays, wait time for the rides is not more than 5min or 10min. Do take raincoat. Be prepared for walking a lot.

Another popular attraction is Python - one of Europe's largest roller coasters featuring multiple inversions over its track length.

For those who prefer more relaxed experiences can enjoy boat rides through Raveleijn or take part in interactive shows like Aquanura - an impressive water show featuring fountains synchronized with music & lights.

In addition to these attractions mentioned above; there are many other exciting things waiting for you at De Efteling!
