The lodge was beautiful, the waterfront view was gorgeous. Great staff and amenities. Rooms were spacious and all around great.
The lodge was beautiful, the waterfront view was gorgeous. Great staff and amenities. Rooms were spacious and all around great.
Everything was perfect with the exception of a few things...the beach was so full of seaweed and smelled so bad it filled the lobby. It needs to be maintained like the other beaches nearby! There was also trash in the seaweed collecting at the shore. The menu in the room claimed 24 hr room service a...
Been several times. A bit of a time capsule on a quiet and beautiful island. Lots of nearby places to chill. Be sure to visit local brewery that s a 5 min bike ride away.
The staff was pleasant. The scenery was nice from the bar/resturant. We had the pizza which was standard tasting. Overall this is one of the classiest places in the keys.
This place is out of the world for a vacation the lagoon lights up with flame sticks every night it was great falling asleep to the water falls, hot tubs are nice. Family and adult pool are seperate which is another plus! Going to the private beach at night at looking at the stars in peace and quite...
It was a beautiful resort. Night fishing at the pier was amazing.
Amazing Family Resort with 1000 feet of private beach ,Spa,tennis court, paddle board and beach activities withTiki Bar in front of the pool, nice restaurants ocean view,9 hold golf course and more....staff very attentive and professional
I had lunch there (Lunch), I did not stay. They treated us very well, they gave us armchairs to rest by the sea. All of hierarchy
The place is a tropical paradise!!!! When you enter the property, you feel as though you have entered into some kind of tropical oasis...The grounds(landscaping) are impeccably maintained. We originally checked into a deluxe room overlooking the family pool and it was very nice...After the first c...
Ate dinner at Atlantic Edge Restaurant. Dinner was great!
This is a total gem! I am already planning my return. For Florida residents they offer a discount! This resort with a spa offers everything you need or want to have a wonderful relaxing stay or activities galore if that s what you are seeking.
The beach: 1,200 feet of private beach
Activities: in...
The food and drinks were amazing. The views were breath taking.
Great place to visit and the food is amazing, I d recommend the fish tacos!
This place is full of roaches beware. The prices at their restaurant is very high not justified. The shower was clogged and all in all not a good experience for $450 a night. When finally met with the manager Stuart he was very rude and even try to do something.
Not recommended at all
Horrible experience.... one thing after another contributed to our vacation being a HUGE LETDOWN.....wouldn't recommend this resort to anyone... rooms are overpriced ... outdated decor In rooms.. shower handle falls off and landed on my foot.. which i couldn't walk on after.... the reservations we h...
A place to enjoy a spring and what to do with everything.
Beautiful beach and pool. Very good restaurant and attention
Great place to stay. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. Lush landscaping, and an adult only pool, also a pool shallow for children.
Very nice atmosphere.
Masks are mandatory when walking around, everyone complied. We all felt very safe. Sanitizing continually.
Went for a day of activities with all in water sports not five stars because we were not allowed to use paddle boards because we were not guest of the resort.
A beautiful property which is entirely mismanaged. First, when the valet steals money AND the change TRAY. It's one thing to steal some quarters but it's a whole other thing when you steal a part of someone's car!. DO NOT allow the valets to park your car at this property. Next. The Tiki Bar are...
Always a great place... but his time the people in the room next to us kept the music loud until almost 2 a.m. Two calls to the front desk and no answer.. eventually an answer and security quieted them down after 2 visits. Asked for a late check out since we couldn't sleep. Denied. We weren't a...
Very rude to us when we asked for a tour of the facilities
It's a nice resort. The room was clean and cozy. The reception and personal were very welcoming. But you can't enter the ocean from the beach. So if you like sea swimming it will be a bit challenging.
Our favorite place to stay in the upper Keys! It's hard to beat the oceanfront rooms in the lodge!
Quick trip, but really enjoyed the beauty of this place. Almost all the hurricane damage is fixed and new now.
Spent our honeymoon here and decided to return 5 years later. Was about to give it two stars until I just got a knock at the door surprising us with a bottle of champagne as an anniversary present. Housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired. Upon first entering our suite, found a dirty maintenance r...
Thank you to the soft spoken gentleman at the Carribean Club for suggesting this place. You can eat and enjoy the bar even if you are not staying at the resort. Very pricey but totally worth it!
The last storm they experienced in islamorada took a toll on the lower keys and cheeca had some major damage but the area is coming back to it's beauty. My family had a great time the kids were outside all day instead of on their tablet and the Boss my wife enjoyed her yoga and spa. All very pleased...
This was a great vacation. Cheeca Lodge and Spa i give 5 stars in service and the great staff Karlyne and Cassandra who was at the front desk was phenomenal. They added cherry on top of my overall experience.
Great accommodations. Friendly staff. Good variety of food. Family friendly
Sometimes you will be disappointed. A luxury resort of the special class, clearly getting old, with listless staff and uncharmanten extensions. 7 years ago, the atmosphere was still tingling and the service first class is now set to mass instead of class. With consistently demanding prices. A constr...
The resort is very well maintained and the staff are nice and helpful.
Great rooms. Great service. Love watching tv from the bath. Foods good. Drinks are well done. Omelet station is impressive. The hot tubes are hiding. You have to ask or look hard.
Great location and decent place. Kayaks for rent, private beach and nice beach bar.
Best place to stay North of Key West! They have everything on their grounds, you don't even need to leave. Total paradise for the whole family...Excited that they are replacing the laguna with another tropical pool. Love, love, love this place.
The place is beautiful and amazing. It also has to have the best service in The Keys!
Large waterfront property, three pools, free man powered watercraft and bikes, paid excursions, tennis courts, and small golf course.
Cheeca stands out by far as a luxury resort and spa. It is beyond belief what the team has pulled together there after the total devastation of hurricane Irma just a while ago. We've visited a handful of times in the past few years and always want to come back. The whole place has a vibrant atmosph...
Everything from booking on the phone to checking out was great.
Great hotel and amazing staff and management. We had an issue with our ac in one room and they moved us quickly and really took care of us . The rooms are really nice and clean. Food is great. Beautiful property. They were also really...
This classic resort has good service. The rooms are a little dated. The beach is a rocky beach. The breakfast buffet is good and the bars are convenient. The vibe is relaxing and casual. Great restaurants and stuff to do close by. Lots of water sports.
I cannot get back there fast enough to enjoy the luxurious, beautiful property and take advantage of the hospitality that they offer.
Nice place with amazing grounds. No real beach to swim. Salt water lagoon smells and drinks and food are pricey. Rooms are modern and clean. Staff is exceptional. Somewhat of an overrated brand.
If I could, I would give Cheeca Lodge & Spa 0 out of 5 stars for the absolute worst experience of my life. On June 25-June 27, 2015, I stayed at Cheeca Lodge & Spa, reserving the best available room, an ocean-front suite for my wedding weekend. I was immediately disappointed when I woke up the day ...
It was honestly one of the most amazing weeks I have had over my birthday would highly recommended it to everyone! I definitely got treated like a king the staff really went out of there way to make my girlfriend and I feel like we were at home.
10 out of 10 seriously would be there in a heartbea...
My husband (a disabled veteran suffering from severe emphysema) and I booked a Beach Bungalow here at Cheeca Lodge & Spa a month in advance online. We previously had a great experience here and wanted a repeat to celebrate our 30th anniversary and his 59th birthday and we were looking forward to a r...
The resort is beautiful but the staff is not friendly.
The Cheeca Lodge is an amazing place!!! The rooms are spacious, the staff is extremely friendly, and the grounds are very well kept. This is not the type of place that just lives on their reputation like some hotels. The management and staff really care about your stay. I would like to especially co...
It's a beautiful place with wonderful staff, great relaxed atmosphere, and beautiful views.
Although the resort was beautiful, you'd think that during this covid-19 crisis, the room could've been actually cleaned. Instead we found dried toothpaste and lipstick stains on the counters, white splotches of I don't know what on the couches and a missing curtain for the balcony. I'm not usually ...
Cheeca is awesome!
The rooms, spa, facilities, food, water sports, and private beach are amazing!
Best lobster eggs Benedict I ve ever had!
I could eat them every morning for the rest of my life!
The lobster grilled cheese is fantastic too!
You really don t need to leave the hotel since everyth...
The steak I ordered when i stayed two months ago was supposed to be well done and it was rare that three times that it was returned back to me and service terrible. plus now after two months I m getting charged in my account $500 and they told me that that was my bank am making a mistake of overcha...
Great place, we spent a week here and everything was phenomenal, the personal is so helpful and friendly. My 2 years old daughter enjoyed so much! Stores and restaurants are pretty close although the food at the hotel is really good as well. Loved the music by the kids pool!
The staff was very rude, inattentive. Housekeeping knocked on our door at 9 am wanting to clean & when we refused that early wasn't touched for almost 2 days. We were out of room from 10 am to 4 PM & still not touched. Wait staff at pool barely came around. Don't seem to care about customer service...
Would close the guest adventures at 6. Basically everything they advertise as fun for kids (basketball, bikes, etc). Would not recommend at all if with kids. If they change this one thing this review goes up to probably a 5 stars
I love this resort!! We've been to Cheeca 5 times and enjoy it every time.
One disappointing thing was the beach towels, seems they have gone with a lesser quality towel this year.
My wife and I spent 5 days at Cheeca to celebrate our 4th anniversary and could not have been happier. When we walked arrived, we were greeted by a friendly bell staff. Check in was smoothe. The grounds are very well kept as are the rooms. Unfortunately, the new pool and tiki bar were still under co...
Cheeca lodge, is a wonderful location and place , unfortunately due to Covid they had not got back into their groove, they had less staff and additional fees in place for less services. We received no housekeeping, and had to use our own sanitizer , but were billed daily for Covid - it was much look...
We've stayed here 3 times in the past couple of years and up until this trip it was the best place to stay on the Keys. We understand that Irma was a disaster but opening rooms that aren't finished is unacceptable for any hotel chain, especially a 4 star hotel that boosts about being luxurious. Ther...
Would give this place 6 stars if I could. The place is amazing and the rooms are beautiful.
Beautiful hotel. Great service. A most see location in the keys
At the Cheeca Lodge & Spa you do not get what you pay for. The rooms are small, absolutely everything is overpriced especially food. The Golf course is junky. The docks are decent. Many Mangrove Snapper are under it. While I was here I went to Long Key bridge and came back with a keeper Black Groupe...
Beautiful and laid back. A must when in Islamorada.
Great fishing destination. Not too many upscale accommodations on the keys so this ranks extremely high.
Unfortunately I was disappointed on my experience overall. I was expecting the beach to be swimmable, but unfortunately it wasn t. I would have liked to have more restaurant options. The food was good but more options would be better.
I enjoyed the food as well as going to Lorelai s for happy hour...
Stopped by to check the place out on our way back from Key West. Beautiful place. We stayed and had lunch. Service was exceptional as was the food and drink. My only complaint about the place is that although they are right on the water, they do not have an actual beach. You have to climb over some ...
Great location with a variety of amenities. It was great to wake up and have our coffee watching the sunrise. The shore has seaweed but getting the kayak and going offshore solve our problem. The water was warm, clear, and shallow. The yoga class in the morning is amazing!
Excellent geographical lo...
Wonderful time. Wonderful people. Love the bartender Katanya?
I was so looking forward to our get away at Cheeca and I have to say I m disappointed in the experience. We stayed in a bungalow room (car port below the room) and the car port was completely flooded when we got there so had to dodge a pool of water to get to the steps to our room. The neighbors o...
Hotel is very nice after renovations however, they still have a few things to do to get it perfect. Work is still being done around the resort but I'm sure once completed it will be wonderful. Rooms are big, staff is friendly. Good location on Islamorada. I would come back once all renovations we're...
One of the most memorable family vacations we've ever taken.
Just arrived and we are ready to leave. Nowhere near the quality of a truly exclusive or premium brand property. Badly stained carpets and tattered furniture in the rooms. They charge a $39 per day resort fee yet the kids club is $75 per child per day. Most other activities cost extra as well. Consi...
In the room the air conditioning did not work well, I reported it and nothing ... the worst night of my life also supposedly they returned the fund and they never did it even though I called and said that lack of respect would never return
