Purchased a wheelchair for my mom. Very hard for her to turn the wheels and she does not use it. Since we paid cash and it has been in our home they will not take it back. They rent wheelchairs, they are in someone s home so what s the difference. I do not recommend them and regret the purchase.

Was given the wrong type of splint by CAMC provider and was then charged $175.00 for it by Active Medical! Wore it a day and threw it out. Buyer beware, always ask what you are being charged for. The temporary splint I bought at drug store was better than this. Big racket.

Called for info about mobility products and was informed Medicare no longer paid for scooters. Medicare told me otherwise. The lady at active lied about Medicare coverage on a product. How could I believe her on anything else!

STAFF IS VERY HELPFUL. NEEDED MY BACK BRACE REFITTED. THEY REFITTED MY BRACE FROM 3 YEARS AGO WHEN I BROKE MY BACK. THIS TIME WHEN I BROKE MY BACK THE BRACE DIDN'T FIT RIGHT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.
