I honestly think this company stole my idea! I spent thousands of pounds with this company before I was allowed to patent it. They drew up the designs and sent them over then wanted me to pay even more to get it patented. A few months later a product VERY similar was released on the market. Considering taking a lawsuit out on this company!
I received an info pack and a submission form for my idea. Gut feeling is that a piece of paper would not protect my idea at all. Their signature at the bottom of the form was photocopied and I haven't had a phone call or met them so personally it felt a bit dodgy. Not going to send them my design as it felt a bit too much like a scam.
Used these people several years ago. Quality and standard of work truly shocking. Staff unqualified. Only interested in fee income not quality of work nor customer satisfaction. Be forewarned!
This company tried to help for over 1.5 years - didn't achieve anything tangible. Be cautious.
Innovate were instrumental in the development of our product. A friendly and helpful team throughout, we got on really well especially with the designers working on our designs.
We're currently waiting for our patent pending status and looking into going out and getting some feedback and hoping to go back to Innovate to further the design, unsure of our plans yet.
We did initially think that everything could happen in a few weeks, we now that it's a process to design a whole new project and these things can take time, so dont expect things to happen overnight! From visiting the salisbury office we saw they are a fairly modest size, so we were happy to wait as their expertise was worth it.
In the very beginning we were worried about sharing an idea and weren't sure about who to go to, but we know that these guys were the right choice. Can guarantee that they arent a scam (not sure what these other reviews are about). Their webpage with all the other products they have designed (which I hope we will be on soon!) shows what they have done before.
Looking forward to see what the future holds for our idea. Watch this space!
Spent money for this company to research for me, which they did. I repeatedly asked for help in understanding this report - hundreds of pages long - which never happened. Also when I asked about taking this to the next level, after numerous calls and emails to them, there were promises to get back to me and again, nothing happened. It seems they are unwilling to do anything unless vast sums of money are given to them, which for an individual to do who is spending a lot of time and money in their design, can be very difficult. Fortunately I was recommended to the British Library by a friend, who were excellent in their advice - which is free. I'm sorry Innovate Design, but I have been left with a bad experience from you and cannot trust you to help me with this.

Scam company! I'm so angry with myself for not having checked reviews prior to sending these people an idea. They claim to have never received your letter of an idea when it was sent some time ago now, and now I've just seen these reviews. Please do not use this company especially if you have a great idea. We plan to take further action.
I researched several companies and went with Innovate Product Design, they did my searches and Cad designs and were very attentive, supportive, responded with live online meetings, emails telephone calls. I now have a prototype, Patent Pending etc.. I found them nothing but professional, helpful and Fantastic. I will be a returning customer. Patricia P
