Zwaluwhoeve Groep Review

It was, as before, good for each other. However, the prices of all catering products have risen sharply. A sandwich invested for 8.75; that makes no sense. The repaired fire damage may have to be recovered in 1 to 2 years.

For years yet again went to the Zwaluwhoeve. I had received a wellness coupon through work that could only be redeemed at a limited number of resorts. My preference went to SpaPuur in Tilburg. What is already a short drive from Eindhoven. But unfortunately it was no longer possible to book with the voucher.

Reception employee was friendly. And got a nice map. Despite the map, I thought it was a huge maze. After searching for a while I finally found the foot bath. That you have to fill yourself up. I had the idea that the water slowly started to drain again, because the foot bath did not fill up.

It was quite on the busy side. But still found a place everywhere. I did miss information at the saunas. What it is good for, how long you can best sit. I also noticed that I saw few staff. Something for the catering industry. But not in the sauna itself. Eg to clean. Floors were slippery and wet everywhere. But no one kept that up. I see with other saunas. I also found it very dirty on the floor at the entrance of some saunas.

There were also signs everywhere that you should not occupy the sun loungers outside. Towels were everywhere, without guests. And I just look for an empty seat.

Hospitality: indeed very expensive. Bottle of cola over the 3 regular coffee 2.80. You can only eat in a kind of la place form, or with a buffet that you have to reserve. 15.95 for a piece of veal oyster, with some fries and a small bowl of salad. Fries sauce costs extra again. I didn't really like the quality of the food. I also think that you should not get your food in a self-service restaurant or buffet with a sauna. Employees also didn't really look like they like it. Appeared uninterested.

I also miss a wide range of magazines. There was almost nothing. At other complexes such as Geldrop, entire wall with magazines.

Overall conclusion: mediocre sauna complex. In itself reasonable range of saunas. But confusing. On sauna square 2: only 1 shower. For several saunas. Plunge pool inside cold, was rather lukewarm. Some things look outdated. And I think they are constantly renovating. Now there was also a sauna closed.

Catering: it is that you have to eat something. But it doesn't really get you excited.

More expensive with the food than the others from the same organization such as the Veluwe source, the elysium etc.

It is getting worse .. too many people, too little service so we had to wait half an hour before we could place our order .. herbal baths without herbs cold baths .. and a lot of screaming adolescents .. no I will drive to bussloo ..

Nice spacious sauna with several saunas and large outside area.

A more than good place to relax. Many types of saunas and baths and an extensive restaurant where you can eat very well. Not the largest resort, but plenty of room and plenty to do. Only thing missing are separate changing rooms.

Many sauna defects and worthless hospitality in terms of price and service

Nice sauna unfortunately not really wheelchair friendly. Dressing room very afterwards. Toilet not accessible at all places. Number of saunas not to come. Not even the new ones. Swimming and bubble baths no lift available. Food is delicious with a wide choice

Had a very bad experience yesterday in the swallow farm.
We entered the complex, and it was already extremely busy at the reception. I had been here once before and thought "oh well, it's a pretty big site, this will spread out right away." I was wrong.

I could barely sit in saunas for the first part of the day because it was so incredibly busy. The restaurant was so full with lunch that people could barely sit down.

One of the first saunas my girlfriend and I were able to use at all was the "Muziek sauna". An inscription on the wall informed us that the combination of warmth and the sounds of music calmed the mind.
Once we were there and the first song (sweet Caroline) was finished, only Hardstyle was played.
I come here for my rest ...

the food was mediocre ... besides that you have to go along with a self-service tray, and then to a cash register, as if you are going to eat at IKEA, my girlfriend had a half-cooked hamburger. I know that you don't have to bake your ground beef completely, but too raw is also one thing.

When we went into the northern lights sauna, we also expected something more. It was a somewhat darker sauna with green lamps on frosted glass ceiling tiles. There. On.
We could literally see the lamps.
Every once in a while a purple pink light came on, which was actually hung above the plates and managed to convey the magic of the northern lights, why not the other lamps?

I have seen much overdue maintenance further down the building. For example, there was a ceiling tile hanging near the showers, half rotten from the ceiling and I saw coat racks hanging halfway out of the wall on toilets.

My best experience here was the singing bowl session, during which a very enthusiastic woman was able to get us completely relaxed.
Said I could save my day.

In short: Zwaluwhoeve lets more people in than they can handle, making it so full that no guest seems to be able to unwind.
Lots of overdue maintenance gives the complex a cheap appearance.
That's a shame, because they really have a beautiful site with very beautiful and unique saunas.

A great wellness. When it is busy you don't even notice it. Staff very friendly and everything looks neat and tidy. Enough different things to do.
All in all great enjoyment there.

Reserved for today unfortunately both on the reservation and on the site it was a naked day today so we drove back and forth for nothing for an hour and a half.

There is nothing to do but it is not our favorite.
An example, the high cabinets to hang your clothes, you have to be 2 mtr plus ...

'but' 3 stars is not because the saunas themselves are not good. Many options for saunas, swimming pool, whirlpool etc. Everything neat and clean. The point saunas are nice. We were lucky today that it was very quiet just before the summer holidays. And that it thundered and we were not allowed outside for a part of the day in swimming pools, whirlpools was very understandable. Staff may be a bit friendlier. But what we do not understand is the restaurant and kitchen section. Having to get your lunch yourself and put your tray in the rack when you are relaxing for a day. We didn't like the food. A chemically tasting red velvet cake, a nacho dish with chemical quacamole and bad creme fraiche, pulled chicken snacks that were not tasty. And for all this and also for the drinks, a price is charged that is really out of proportion to what you get. There are really many points for improvement here.

Not all facilities were unfortunately open, but as always again enjoy

I regularly visit Zwaluwhoeve. But unfortunately it is becoming less and less fun. Most people who are present there now, do not come to relax but to catch up "socially". People talk everywhere! In almost every sauna, in a herbal bath. No rest anywhere. Apparently people can't read: PLEASE. There is practically shouting in the corridors. Really not nice. Rest is very far away here. I also always see very young people and no guidance. Two young girls around the age of 16 even had a fight in a sauna, really unbelievable. Where are the parents?
I think it is best for staff to walk around occasionally and "remind" people what the house rules are. Otherwise people who seek peace will come less and less (just like me). I think that there really is no longer a wellness center. I think that's such a shame!

We have been on swimwear day with the new corona rules. They had taken clear and good measures, such as a maximum of 3 people in the sauna or whirlpool. Because of this you had to wait everywhere until there was room, which is a shame. What we did notice is that many people did not adhere to this, but luckily the staff intervened. Unfortunately the pool did not look clean and at the music sauna the door was very stuck so you could not open or close the door properly and unfortunately there was no music in it. Of course is not a disaster. What I always regret is that the food is really ridiculously expensive

Compared to a few years ago, it seems that they are cutting back ... It is no longer as tight and well maintained as it was then

Food is good, lots of facilities but unpleasant layout. A lot of searching and very busy.

I always completely relax here! Many different saunas and plunge pools and swimming pools. There are several restaurants with something for everyone! Highly recommended!

Certainly a very nice sauna to go to. There were various saunas, a hot tub, a hot tub and a salt-water bath.

When you enter it looks like it is small, but a large part of saunas and baths is also outside.

It is advisable to go with nice / good weather, because there is also a part outside.

The service has picked it up well with the (milk) allergy, they have dealt with it respectfully and helpfully.

Dressing rooms are shared, but they have a number of curtains for people who want to dress privately, a nice solution!

Face mask, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are present there, you do not have to pay for it.

What a mockery. Far too busy to really relax, participating in a pouring ritual is almost impossible, 8.50 for a sandwich is absurd and the saunas are poorly finished.

On one of the benches I opened up on excellent staples.

After our visit, we were asked to give our opinion. Done this extensively but received no response. A missed opportunity.

For a nice sauna day it is better to choose e.g. Soesterberg, veluwe source or elysium.

Great big sauna. Because of the reviews about the crowds at the weekend, we chose to go on a Friday. Also busy but not too busy. We did miss a heated rest room where you can read a book. The prices in the restaurant are, as can be read in other reviews, too high. For a simple 0.5 bottle of water (unfortunately forgot to take home) 4.25 paid. That is a shame and it would be nice if the prices would be a bit more reasonable.

Oja and the gaps in the parking lot could sometimes be filled. A whole adventure was that ..

Perfect wellness resort to relax a wonderful day. Many different saunas, nice baths and steam baths.

With a discount voucher for a few hours pretty okay, there are many facilities and it looks neatly maintained. The infusion by sauna master Hanneke was much too hot, many guests left the cabin prematurely. Catering prices are absurd, service was friendly.

Today, saunas fine only almost no service on the terrace. Why you get 1 star is that the prices have become so very expensive, carpaccio sandwich 8.25, if everything was still there no lettuce carpaccio and some cheese, so very scant! Pokebowl 15.00 euros, good if you are served, no self-service. Too bad you got so expensive.

Swimwear day was not a success, too busy and very noisy. Saunaplein are several corridors that are really too full when busy, in addition to the overcrowded saunas. Facilities are neat and clean. Regular day was fine in terms of crowds and noise.
A somewhat unclear resort inside and outside is very spacious, which fits best with the summer and not with the winter. A cold wind over the salt bath is not a success without shelter. Food is a good price and not special.

Relaxing with my friend. Small shame that I had to specify a departure time. In itself I understand, because the treatment chosen was scheduled between arrival and departure time, but I did not know in advance what time we would leave. Our treatment was only scheduled at the end of the day, but we were able to schedule another treatment last minute. We expected a little more from the treatments, but we did relax ontspannen

Positive: many different facilities.
Negative: indifferent staff in restaurant. You could not really relax inside the saunas, because you could already hear the noise from outside the door. Very often the doors did not close properly / easily. Sauna with music was also not a success, I expected quiet music but it almost seemed as if 100% NL was on. There were not enough brackets at the saunas. And I have not seen a water point anywhere to refill your bottle.

Went in the evening with my girlfriend. Not crowded at all. It was really a pleasant experience. Not used to go to saunas but in definitely coming back! The outdoor saunas and whirlpools were amazing.

Too bad that many beds are broken, otherwise it is nice and quiet.

Dirty saunas, very busy. The food in the restaurant was luke warm and poor quality. Not recommended

Is a nice big sauna. Usually very busy and there is sometimes no place in a sauna or bath, but then you make a round or go for a delicious meal / drink in one of the restaurants.

Great staff. Kindly helped. Dinner bufet is not really very good. What they have is fine, but it is not really luxurious or separate. The salads were also the same as at the lunch buffet. Very boring....
It was very busy, a bit of a shame.

Visited the Zwaluwhoeve 2 years ago. 1 time and NEVER more. Far too busy, too much chatter (and none of the staff responding), massage recorded the day before was not communicated ("you called our help desk" deuuu), customer next to me complained about his apple pie, other customer about his tortilla chips now no cheese sauce was included and we have given our chicken satay back because of too raw. Reserving in resto was "not necessary" until I went to eat there. Then I had to make a reservation. FYI, resto was half empty and yet I didn't get in. Service = ZERO. When I read the stories here, nothing has changed yet. Absolutely stay away. Recommended: Devarana Den Bosch or Hezemeer Laakdal (Belgium).

Yes this is a cozy sauna. Very commercial. What is really a shame is that they have permanently closed the cave herbal bath. This was really a wonderful bath. Restaurant very good. Yet we and many other guests miss a simple bouncer on the menu.

Nice and just wellness resort. Nice staff, nice infusions, garden with different swimming pools etc. The garden is more often placed something new so that it remains renewed. You can spend your day here

The swallow farm has become beautiful. Many extra things built in. A downside is that ordering a drink has become very expensive.

I want information about my reservation that I believe has been incorrectly changed by the Zwaluwhoeve. I have emailed; no answer! On the phone it is casually told that the reservations department cannot speak by telephone? I just have to wait and see if I will get another e-mail? WHAT?? Well, yes, I would like to have my reservation confirmed and be sure that I will not travel that day for Jan with the short last name to the Zwaluwhoeve ... terribly poor service for something that should be a luxury product :-(

First time sauna for my friend and me. It was not asked if it was the 1st time, while we are very young. No explanation received. Very busy too. We were waiting at the counter but the employee was on the phone and after the phone call she started doing other things. 2nd employee was helping other people and the people who came in after us were always helped by this 2nd employee while we were just waiting there.
It is a large sauna with a lot of diversity, which is certainly a plus.
Unfortunately no separate clothing booths, even though they have 3 fixed swimwear days. The food and drinks in the restaurant are very expensive.

Wonderful saunas and despite the crowds still enough space in the sauna. Nice and neat only downside is the parking pfff what an experience hahaha so many bumps and holes in the road.

Pretty nice to go there, but it was incredibly busy when we were there. Really waiting for the sauna, traffic jam through the corridors, busy signing up. That really disappointed us.

Due to poorly functioning website of Zwaluwhoeve I have abolished tickets twice.
Counter staff instead of money back offers very expensive private label products, while we have agreed that for the time being.
Very arrogant staff.
