For years yet again went to the Zwaluwhoeve. I had received a wellness coupon through work that could only be redeemed at a limited number of resorts. My preference went to SpaPuur in Tilburg. What is already a short drive from Eindhoven. But unfortunately it was no longer possible to book with the voucher.

Reception employee was friendly. And got a nice map. Despite the map, I thought it was a huge maze. After searching for a while I finally found the foot bath. That you have to fill yourself up. I had the idea that the water slowly started to drain again, because the foot bath did not fill up.

It was quite on the busy side. But still found a place everywhere. I did miss information at the saunas. What it is good for, how long you can best sit. I also noticed that I saw few staff. Something for the catering industry. But not in the sauna itself. Eg to clean. Floors were slippery and wet everywhere. But no one kept that up. I see with other saunas. I also found it very dirty on the floor at the entrance of some saunas.

There were also signs everywhere that you should not occupy the sun loungers outside. Towels were everywhere, without guests. And I just look for an empty seat.

Hospitality: indeed very expensive. Bottle of cola over the 3 regular coffee 2.80. You can only eat in a kind of la place form, or with a buffet that you have to reserve. 15.95 for a piece of veal oyster, with some fries and a small bowl of salad. Fries sauce costs extra again. I didn't really like the quality of the food. I also think that you should not get your food in a self-service restaurant or buffet with a sauna. Employees also didn't really look like they like it. Appeared uninterested.

I also miss a wide range of magazines. There was almost nothing. At other complexes such as Geldrop, entire wall with magazines.

Overall conclusion: mediocre sauna complex. In itself reasonable range of saunas. But confusing. On sauna square 2: only 1 shower. For several saunas. Plunge pool inside cold, was rather lukewarm. Some things look outdated. And I think they are constantly renovating. Now there was also a sauna closed.

Catering: it is that you have to eat something. But it doesn't really get you excited.
